  1. I’m all in if he takes 3m a year for 4 years and 6M guaranteed.
  2. And no Allen, no regular season wins to brag on. Yes, their team is better and constructed to win in today’s NFL, meanwhile the Bills have a questionable offensive line, 1WR who’s ever been anything and a bunch of nobody’s around Allen, but oh boy do our rotational DL guys / ST aces get paid.
  3. There’s a legit QB here now, I’d like to see a better team and coach around him so we can actually win a game that matters.
  4. The team around Maholmes is superior to the one around Allen and Maholmes is Winning SBs, the Bills aren’t getting to them.. what’s that say?
  5. EJ Manuel still wants a shot, might want to get on the horn.
  6. Just checking.. how have they been doing in big games?
  7. No money for anything, but let’s throw 68M at a ROTATIONAL DT.. yep, just killing it.
  8. Unfortunately
  9. I honestly can’t wait for the end of the McBean era.
  10. A dangerous game to be playing w a guy who will hang you out to dry with no remorse. I hope he sucks this year and decides to retire.
  11. Yes, I meant they were paying for the dead cap hit, my wording sucked. I’m almost ALMOST, sure, they don’t have any salary tied to 2024, so they can’t spread it because it’s automatically voided at the beginning of the year. So without OBJ agreeing to a deal or essentially a payoff if he’s not staying, I think they take the full dead cap hit in 2024.
  12. This only works if you can eat it all the year after. If they let him walk after this year without an extension they pay that full 11 and change in dead money next year
  13. If so, forget signing D-Hop, he won’t put us over the top w wrong Allen throwing him the ball.
  14. Shorter did nothing in college, to think he’s going to make some massive leap this year and actually see the field on O is wishful thinking at best. I like the physical potential, but he better bring it on ST’s to even sniff the roster. Harty has proven nothing yet, I don’t have huge expectations, I’m hopeful he’s going to be something.
  15. Sounds like Hop is going to have to pick, actually play for a contender or go for the money. I don’t know which he will choose, but this is starting to get a Julio Jones kind of feel to it.. can the guy still run enough to be worth the money? Or is he really down to a possession type now? I don’t know. I don’t know what “getting paid” is going to look like for him at this point. Beckham, though coming off injury has always been explosive and his work outs looked like he still has it. D-Hop has been explosive enough, but it may be trailing off, with the lack of teams out there that have money, need a “#1 WR” and are real contenders, it’s going to be virtually impossible for him to get everything he wants. The scary part to me, if he doesn’t go for money, does he land in KC? That would suck.
  16. I used to think you had to build an offense that could handle Buffalo Winters, then I got mesmerized by the high flying offense, then December came and we needed an offense that could handle Buffalo Winters… then we got beat a couple times, most notably in Cinci because we couldn’t handle winter conditions.. so I’m back to it, the scoring early in the year is cute, but build a team that can punish the other team and go over their heads at will and you have something special. Imagine Josh Allen on the Titans from the last few years.. can you imagine having to defend not only Henry, but knowing Allen will torch you if you stack the box?
  17. If a team wants him and can take on the current deal, it would be stupid to let it get to competition, anything is better than nothing for AZ. As insane as it sounds, I think the only team ( that we assume is in on him) that could swing it is Philly. Otherwise it’s teams throwing a lot of bonus and bogus years at him.
  18. I won’t do that either, for the exact reason you stated, I’ll take that tax credit, thank you.
  19. I’ll never understand the praise for millionaires who “form charities” to get other people who don’t make 1/1000th of what they do, to donate to, while never dropping a dime in the pot themselves. It’s like charity concerts, the performers just put on a show and donate the “proceeds”, meaning whatever they don’t keep to the cause. You already make millions, don’t tell me you are a saint for throwing an extra performance on and giving up a portion of it, while you COULD just cut that check from your petty cash fund. To be fair, I don’t want to give up my money for causes that I don’t really care about either.. so I just don’t pretend I can enough to do it.. just be real.
  20. I’d also like to point out, that because of all those misses, you find yourself in a position with a TON of wasted cap space for under performing rotational players and one geriatric DE coming off an injury, so you couldn’t sign anybody of impact this year, but the apologist think I’m crazy for saying the piss poor drafting lead to over spending , which lead to holes in the roster.
  21. You don’t think Beane has the power to fire coaches? He can fire the HEAD coach, get a grip man. That’s like saying the VP doesn’t have the power to fire a customer service agent bc there is somebody between them. Get real.
  22. Exactly, regardless of what anybody says, when you have a team that’s been right on the cusp for two years, you add the difference makers to get it done. All the teams that try to keep their window open by minding the cap get to watch their window shut with nothing to show for it.
  23. Bonuses (prorated signing) and guaranteed money all accelerate to the current cap year. If they do a post June 1 designation or cut ties after June 1, they can split it across the current year and next year.
  24. Hmmm, wouldn’t be my choice based on looks, but whatever keeps him from throwing red zone ints is good w me.
  25. 3 years, 33M total, 29M signing bonus, last year player voidable. Dooooo it.
