Why can’t we all see the truth, Edmunds is this generation’s Paul Pozluzny. Stats are there, but impact is severely lacking. Once Poz left, people could see it, it won’t be long when the Bears are looking to get rid of him because of the contract vs impact and people will wonder, “what happened to him?” In reality, he’s never been an impact guy and he has absolutely ZERO instincts. If he can see the ball and attack, awesome, he can be an athlete. Ask for anticipation, forget it.

It's Early of Course but the Schedule Now Looks a Lot Easier

To All You Dorsey/McD Haters What Say You Now ?

I say it’s the Raiders, who will win less than 6 games all year, who cares? -
Bills missed opportunity to ditch McD and sign genius Sean Payton
DCofNC replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, that makes perfect sense, surely there will never be a let down from one OC to another 🙄. You consider one coach an underachiever, yet the coach you have is worse, but of course you want to keep him. I see how MY thinking is ridiculous. -

DCofNC replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall
The key to the league is scoring points, every time Josh Allen makes a coach look good, they will be hired away. If you have the McVay, Payton, Reid, etc. the scheme stays the same and the O keeps rolling. Having a defensive HC is a handicap. I wish the Bills would figure it out. McD is on a worse pace, so we should keep him? -
12 Personnel--How much will it be used today and going forward?
DCofNC replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall
As of right now, you would have to think he will put pace that, he’s yet to break anything and he will eventually. Considering it’s game 2 and he’s already this involved, I think he could easily do a little more. 80+ and 800 yards should be in reach. -
If anything, the UNC from the Bills sideline may have said something. If it hadn’t been an issue, they wouldn’t have taken him to the locker room. For all the things I’m not a fan of in the NFL from a rule standpoint, this is one that actually makes sense. You could see he needed to be checked and they in fact found something. Rapp really popped him, that was a tough hit, probably going to be fined for it. I’m a little surprised with the game clearly out of hand, the Raiders would risk their guys like that, and unfortunately, here we are.

Unpopular opinion, I think this stems from the gold C on 17’s jersey. The coaches won’t keep him in line and it’s rubbing off on others. Oh and Milano is a monster, I really don’t care about his one penalty.

Better than I expected thus far, that means little, but if he remains largely invisible, that’s probably for the best. He’s made more splash plays than I recall Edmunds making his entire career, so that’s a bonus.

I saw him get some good blocks in today, I was actually quite impressed vs what I expected from him. He’s a lot further along than I expected in that respect. He’s looking really good thus far. -
Can we please use groot like parsons and Garrett?
DCofNC replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just want to see him get the chance to rush from the inside more. -
Tried to warn people.. he showed nothing in preseason and people still thought he was something.. there’s a reason nobody knew him before signing here.

Currently tied for the first pick overall, ya never know.

I think it’s pretty clear they have overloaded his mind with thoughts, he’s not playing loose at all. Forcing everything. He didn’t run on OBVIOUS running situations, see the INT where he had a 15 yard gain he could take on the ground, on third and short no less, with the sideline to just step out and avoid hits. Instead, “don’t run, take your shot” thinking and we lose the ball. Then he gets frantic in the pocket, instead of taking the short pass available, he goes out and tried to hurdle where he had no shot of and gets smashed. He played like garbage, did it in pre-season too. I’m starting to wonder if those report of him not preparing are not more accurate than we want to believe. I also question if that’s not why Diggs has a riff with him and the staff. JA isn’t held to the same standard and Diggs is sick of it. It sure doesn’t seem like we are seeing the same guy who was locked in being the best player on the field, like 2020/21. This looks like a guy who got full of himself and thinks he can do what he wants bc he’s the man.

New year, same issues with play calling and use of personnel
DCofNC replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe, just maybe, those statements about Josh not putting in the preparation time and relying on ability aren’t as far fetched as we want to think. I think Allen needs a stronger coach that will hold him accountable, when he’s getting to pick his coach and take on play calling in pre-season, I wonder if he’s not more of a spoiled brat vs the disciplined QB we need. Doesn’t seem like he and Dorsey are on the same page, maybe that’s because Allen sees him as a buddy not an authority figure. -
What if the whole statement was “We aren’t here saying; if the black players don’t like it here, they should go back to Africa and see how bad it really is; we want everyone to win. It’s important for us to ensure our players know we value them and want them to feel appreciated, we also need to convey a unified message to the world so we don’t damage the image of the league and lose the opportunity for these men to see continually larger paychecks and more revenue for us to help lift up our local communities.” If there’s one thing, we should all know, it’s that you can absolutely not trust anything from the media, and not trust them to not twist words to make a story.

Chris Jones agreed to deal with KC (1 year deal)

Rodgers out for the year (UPDATE: Rodgers wants to return for playoffs)
DCofNC replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
That sucks for them and Rodgers, I’m not a fan of his, and was happy he left the game bc I figured they were going to be tough with him, but season ending/possibly career ending injuries are awful. Worst yet for Bills fans, Wilson has actually looked pretty good this pre-season and wasn’t too bad last night. They may be alright with him. He made one bone headed mistake vs JA w 3+, it would suck even more if he develops. -

DCofNC replied to Sestak4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently he had somebody explain the math to him. Still a one year deal is idiotic on his part, unless it included a no franchise tag clause. -
Buy: Milano, he will be key against the run and pass tonight, needs to be huge and I expect he will be. Sell: Harty, hope I’m wrong, I see Mckitrick all over again Hold: Kincaid, has some learning to do, hope he can produce early (really hopeful for may fantasy team as he was supposed to be my back up/possible flex and then Kelce went down for week 1).

Ryan Fitzpatrick in Little Caesars NFL Commercial
DCofNC replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
The personality has always been there, I think the Amazon hiring has actually helped him with exposure more than the other way around. Either way, I love it, he’s a funny guy. -
Exactly, if it weren’t for the concussions, people would be ranking him as a top 5 guy. He’s scary because you never know if a stiff breeze is going to knock him out for the year, but when he’s playing, his numbers/ actual performances are really only being topped by the truly elite guys. There was a reason everyone thought he was going to be the #1 pick, he’s good. He’s actually really good. A healthy version, ask yourself, is there really anybody out there that’s out performing him aside from Maholmes, Allen, Burrow? I think he falls right in the Hurts, Herbert etc level, which is damn good.

Miami is a threat to the Bills, I don’t know where you guys keep coming up with the idea they aren’t. Tua may not be Allen, but this D isn’t the 49ers either. People are acting like Tua is a complete bum, that’s just not the case. He’s not as physically gifted as the real elite guys, but if he can stay healthy, the guy is absolutely a top 10 QB with all that talent around him.

When do you typically get big game, game day anxiety?
