  1. I won’t do that either, for the exact reason you stated, I’ll take that tax credit, thank you.
  2. I’ll never understand the praise for millionaires who “form charities” to get other people who don’t make 1/1000th of what they do, to donate to, while never dropping a dime in the pot themselves. It’s like charity concerts, the performers just put on a show and donate the “proceeds”, meaning whatever they don’t keep to the cause. You already make millions, don’t tell me you are a saint for throwing an extra performance on and giving up a portion of it, while you COULD just cut that check from your petty cash fund. To be fair, I don’t want to give up my money for causes that I don’t really care about either.. so I just don’t pretend I can enough to do it.. just be real.
  3. I’d also like to point out, that because of all those misses, you find yourself in a position with a TON of wasted cap space for under performing rotational players and one geriatric DE coming off an injury, so you couldn’t sign anybody of impact this year, but the apologist think I’m crazy for saying the piss poor drafting lead to over spending , which lead to holes in the roster.
  4. You don’t think Beane has the power to fire coaches? He can fire the HEAD coach, get a grip man. That’s like saying the VP doesn’t have the power to fire a customer service agent bc there is somebody between them. Get real.
  5. Exactly, regardless of what anybody says, when you have a team that’s been right on the cusp for two years, you add the difference makers to get it done. All the teams that try to keep their window open by minding the cap get to watch their window shut with nothing to show for it.
  6. Bonuses (prorated signing) and guaranteed money all accelerate to the current cap year. If they do a post June 1 designation or cut ties after June 1, they can split it across the current year and next year.
  7. Hmmm, wouldn’t be my choice based on looks, but whatever keeps him from throwing red zone ints is good w me.
  8. 3 years, 33M total, 29M signing bonus, last year player voidable. Dooooo it.
  9. I am super hopeful somebody steps up at LB and to that end, I’m going with Baylon Spector. I half expect him to win the MLB role, or be the primary back-up. A lot will depend on the work he’s done on his body in the off-season, he needed to add weight, especially growing those legs. If he can report in the 240-245 range and have not lost a step, he has everything you need to play at LB in the NFL today. It’s a lot of hoping, but let’s see what he brings.
  10. I think you could see Benford being flexed there this year, he makes a lot of sense there in the future and both Po and Hyde (and Rapp) could be gone next year. Give him a year to learn the ropes and he gets a shot to start next year. Thats all dependent on how the CB room looks, but he’s way too good to let go of and Saftey is not strong after the first 3 in line.
  11. Yeah, I personally feel it should have been ticking earlier, but I’m not exactly tolerant of multiple game day mistakes and roster mismanagement. If they crap on themselves again in the playoffs, it should be the end. I agree with everything until the last line, his D is good enough to keep them in the mix, they win because of JA covering massive holes in the O and scoring stupid amounts of points.
  12. After the 13 seconds and the Cinci dismantling, there should be real consequences.
  13. A) Josh has made some awful mistakes in big moments. B) He has to be the guy to make it all happen, when the team relies 100% on you to win a game, the 3% of the time you screw up, it’s magnified. C) Look at the list, it’s QBs making up for deficit of talent around them. (Hurts 2020, not 2021).
  14. I can’t disagree with the logic. Though I will give credit where it’s due, the Bills have won almost all of the games they are “supposed” to win in the regular season for McD’s career. There have definitely been some flat performances and I know exactly what games he’s thinking of that did cost us big time. The thing that sticks out to me is the number of times he’s been directly responsible for losing big games.
  15. Just to clarify, injuries only count for the Bills. 50% of the QBs are on non-playoff teams, so it’s obvious the team around them had nothing to do with their loss. So the Bills win a whopping 2 games against teams that have a starting QB and a playoff hope, awesome. As for the Browns, see line 1 and obviously Watson was rusty AF last year when he came back. Please enlighten us oh Holy one, tell us all how great the skill players on the Bills are. Please oh please show us all the great draft picks and the signings that weren’t made to cover for the lack of talent in all those great draft picks.
  16. Wow, I’m not even going to take up the server space to quote all the homer comments here since my last post. Y’all need to lay off the crack pipe. This team has beaten up on teams with Rookie / Back up QBs and been slapped in the mouth by real teams in big games. Of course we have all the people quick to point out all the guys Beane didn’t draft and give him credit for them. Getting excited about a near retirement Von Miller for premier money and defending trading away a first round pick in a draft class considered the best in memory for WRs for a WR that wanted more money.. yep all brilliant. For the record, I would have targeted Lamb and the picks given up to get Diggs are not far off from what it would have taken to move up for him. Jefferson is obviously a monster, arguably the best in the game, so yeah that makes it even worse we didn’t get him. This has got to be the same group of clowns that told me all off-season that Davis was going to be the superstar player we always needed next to Diggs, might even steal targets from Diggs etc. I said it then, this team has ONE legit NFL starting player at WR and nobody else that’s proven to be worthy of more than a 3rd wr on their best day. Kincaid is a nice hope, but you’ll all be blaming Dorsey when he doesn’t do much as a rookie. The guy played low level ball for a limited time, rookie TEs struggle historically anyway and you expect a difference maker, he’s not going to be it, this year. It’s another off-season gone with the shuffle of pawns and you all expect major improvement. It’s not coming. The only hope is the rest of the league is wrong and Cyrus starts immediately and plays at a high level, giving the RBs some room and JA some time.
  17. I think the point that needs to be looked at, the team has a lot of weakness because of piss poor drafting and strategy on resigning guys. There has not been a single difference maker drafted and resigned aside from JA in this entire regime’s history. They’ve landed a bunch of guys that are replacement level and maybe slightly above, not much else. The FA signings have been equally uninspiring/productive. The reason they had to go sign Miller was the inability to rush the passer after a first round pick and 2 seconds were spent on guys who can’t do it. They had to pay Diggs big money because they traded for a vet instead of drafting a guy in a VERY strong WR class. They spent 3 early picks on RBs and signed multiple others for less than replacement level production. After signing Knox to a massive extension, they draft a TE in the first round. The issue of not having money or picks to go after guys is the result of poor drafting and therefore overspending to compensate for it. This team is WAY behind the curve on talent vs the Chiefs, Eagles, even the Dolphins and Jets. Allen makes up for it, but for how long? It’s turning in to a Packers situation where a HOF QB can lead you to a lot of wins that mean nothing, but can’t finish the deal himself too often.
  18. I hope they get more aggressive, this zero risk philosophy has killed the chances of winning big games for far too long. The O can ball, take some chances on D. If you get burned, let Allen go make up for it, if the D scores some points it wouldn’t be so bad. Continuing to let teams move the ball and eat clock is killing us, the best player is Allen, by a country mile, you don’t play to keep your best weapon off the field.. unless you are McClappy.
  19. They should have the draft class draw the team’s logo every year, fans vote on their favorite, that logo get slapped on a sideline cap for the 2nd pre-season game around the league, make it the official children’s day. Sell the hat, all proceeds to local children’s charities or St. Jude’s.
  20. All good, but Lamar has an MVP and is going to throw for 6000 yards this year because he finally has weapons, so he’s clearly better.
  21. I can’t believe anyone really thought he was coming back.
  22. Let him play out this year, let Oliver walk and replace him with Q, who should have been the pick in the first place.
  23. Cutting/trading Poyer after this year is over 5M in savings, or it’s a $7.5M hit to keep him, I don’t see him back, but maybe that’s just me.
  24. 😂 , I suppose you think the Bills are better. If you put the same QB out there with either team the Browns would win more. JA is the only reason the Bills are relevant, Cleveland has a more talented roster than Buffalo.
  25. Yeah, dead cap is 2M next year, he’s gone unless he plays really well this year, which I don’t really expect.
