  1. I agree, I think Hyde and Poyer are gone after this year, wouldn’t mind Hyde coming back on a reasonable deal like Poyer did, but Po looks cooked. AJE is going to get paid, make no mistake. Pass rushers get paid, he’s on pace for at least double digit sacks, he’s been batting down balls, causing havoc. While it’s great, the better he plays the remainder of the year, the less likely the Bills can pay him. Unless you consider 15+ a year “reasonable” he’s a goner. The Titans are in a tough spot. Supposedly, D-Hop wants to win, and they clearly aren’t going to, but they also need to know what they have at QB and that’s a lot harder to figure out with no targets to throw to. I’d venture to guess, they won’t trade him, he’s cheap and pretty valuable to them. Adams is just too much to make happen.
  2. I don’t see that as an unfair argument, he has not hit on WRs in general. Diggs was a proven player, though he has blossomed more here, so I’ll give credit there. Draft wise, he hasn’t done anything. Davis is a nice player for a 4th round pick, but he’s shown exactly why he was a lower pick, he’s still inconsistent. The rest are fringe players at best. I have not gone digging to see who might be available, but if there was a chance to enter a WR into the mix, I’d love to. Unless Kincaid burst on to the scene (which is impossible with his usage early on), this team is Diggs or nothing.
  3. While that may be true, that says nothing of the value of the players out. Example, which hurt more, Damar Hamlin being out for the year or Micha Hyde being out? WHO misses the game is so much more important than just missed games. If Diggs is out, whole game plan changes. Hardy can’t play.. who? Etc. not having Tre, Jones, Milano, Oliver etc available is far more concerning that Settle missing games last year.
  4. If you can get Mooney for a 5th it’s a NO BRAINER. He could rework his deal if he really wanted to be here. Also, Barkley may be traded, regardless of his wishes, get him for 8 games at just over 4M.. that works..
  5. Sucks, the kid looked way more ready than I thought he was. If he can stay healthy, I think he will be one of, if not the best QB of this draft.
  6. The word “unhinged” has your picture next to it in the dictionary. Allen is the best player on the team, but his wild inconsistency is the reason for the Bills NOT appearing in the SB.
  7. I don’t know what OLs you are watching out there, this one isn’t great, but it’s at least average. Are we going to give Tyrod credit for playing better than Allen (with the exception of being an idiot at the end of the half) with a far worse line and zero legitimate weapons? The excuses for Allen are getting pretty obscene. His decision making is questionable at best. He’s repeatedly missing the RPO reads, not running with a clear first down in front of him and throwing into double coverage. Do they need more weapons? Absolutely. Is Allen the primary reason for the loss vs the Jets? No question. For the Jags? I would argue yes as well, his poor decisions again lead to missed opportunities to close the game. The defense got CRUSHED by injury and the offense couldn’t even stay on the field. The Jags only scored 25 points and the majority of those were late. The offense didn’t do crap all day. Allen did nothing until garbage time. Once the game was out of hand and the Jags went prevent, Allen got 2 big plays which pad his stats, but don’t do anything for a win.
  8. The Knox contract is soooo bad, we are either bringing him back at a 14M+ cap hit for 2024 or parting with him for $20M+ of dead cap. These type of deals for average players are what cripple your roster when you pay a QB. Beane blew it big time on this one. There is/was absolutely no reason to give him that monster extension. I get that it looked like he was “breaking out” and if he turned into Kelce, you looked great, but the fact is, he never has been a reliable catcher of the ball, regardless of how good he is with the ball in his hands. It seemed like too much at the time and it’s aged even worse. Again, this goes back to, HOW IS THE GM AND THE COACHING STAFF THIS FAR OFF ON PLAYER VALUATION? GM signs guys to top 5 deal, coach doesn’t use them.. wtf? GM drafts guys as a weapon, coach won’t use him. GM drafts a CB in round one, coach refuses to play him.. how many times can we do this?
  9. Don’t forget more drops than most teams entire WR room combined, but no big deal.
  10. Oh now you did it, you can’t blame JA. I actually agree though, he has lost 2 games this year and almost made it 3 with poor execution/decisions. He’s one of the best on the planet when he’s on, when he’s not, he’s really not good enough. He needs to bring the floor up.
  11. This is where my theory of Josh either forcing it to Diggs to shut him up or forcing it to Diggs to send the message that he’s done w the other guys comes from.
  12. He has refused to run in so many cases this year, should have won the Jets game if he had just taken what was clear field ahead of him, instead he turned the ball over.
  13. I have a couple conspiracy theories to throw out there. 1) Diggs has been bitching so much, that Allen went nuts and fed him the ball every possible play to show him he isn’t the answer. or 2) After the Davis fumble, Josh officially went off the rails and decided to FORCE the coaches to put somebody else in the routes because he wouldn’t throw to anybody but Diggs to get Davis off the field. I tend to think it’s this version. Davis has let him down SO much, I wonder if JA isn’t trying to get them to play somebody else and they blatantly refuse to do it, this was Josh’s stage to show the staff he’s done w him. I know it sounds off, but maybe JA isn’t the choir boy we are led to believe and the Diggs comments this off-season seemed to point to that too.
  14. Oh I absolutely see the Pats hammering on us. We have tiny LBs, the run stuffing DT is gone, pass rush has been strong and why would you trust McCorkle to do anything? Running the ball effectively would shorten the time the Bills have the ball, less likely for Allen to catch fire.. it’s your best shot. Dorsey, IMO is the wrong guy for the job. I do wonder if it’s his scheme, play calling, or Josh blatantly doing what he wants to prove points. Either way, the wrong person is calling the shots.
  15. I don’t buy that either. Williams looks noticeably bigger than everyone in the LB ranks and he’s still not a big guy. That’s ok, depth is great. Milano is one of the very best in the game, unless somebody turns All-Probin his absence, he’s the guy you want out there.
  16. Bummer for Harris, but I like this.
  17. Really a 3yr deal.
  18. Poyer will be gone, Miller is here next year, costs more cap to get rid of him than keep him.
  19. Today, probably 13/yr. If he stays on this pace it’s 20 at the end of the season. He’s been REALLY good this year. Gotta let it play out, he’s flashed before, let’s see if he can keep it up. Floyd is on a one yr deal, Von is old and could be off loaded after next year, so it’s not impossible to get him back here if he proves this isn’t a flash in the pan.
  20. From the broadcast view, Williams looked a little raw, but overall he played very well. He may be a real steal, reminds me of rookie Milano. Have to remember this is his first start, first time getting the starter reps in practice etc. He has the tools to be something, just have to see if he can handle the mental aspect of it all. The good part is he is coming in against lesser teams so he gets a little ramp up time. To sit here and be able to say the Bills lost both Milano and Edmunds, didn’t spend any money and plugged the holes w 3rd rd picks with minimal drop off.. THAT is how you build teams to contend long term. Of course it’s one game against Tyrod, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves, but if holds up, I have to get the crock pot out and get that crow braising for dinner.
  21. Huge mistake by the Giants, can’t believe the OC let they play go and Tyrod was dumb enough to try it.
  22. The boos have started.
  23. If they lose this game, I’m just going to pack it in for the year.
  24. Dorian Williams looks huge out there… says something about how small our LBs are.
