  1. I’m with you, I’d love Dugger here, but I do think he’s a little like Edmunds in that the hype is bigger than the actual bite. I’m sure the disagreement you got on this post is somebody that doesn’t recall the truth, Hyde was an emerging player that bounced between CB and S in GB, he seemed too good to keep off the field and I was thrilled to land him. He has been a stud and I think he’s got some time left to play at a high level, so I’d like to bring him back if we can. Poyer was a nobody, he’s been really good here. That said, he’s abused his body and he looks like he’s done to me. He never did take great angles and he’s slower this year. I wasn’t excited they brought him back, really felt it was a waste of assets. I hope I’m proven wrong, but week 4 and he’s already out. The two of them were low cost, high performers for a while and then they got contracts that reflected their value. At this point, it’s business, either Hyde comes back at a reasonable (not cheap, but not stupid) deal that works for both sides or he doesn’t. Poyer, already has one foot out the door and I don’t see him being here next year.
  2. I agree that was a great performance and it was in the playoffs, so that’s huge. All that said, the Pats were not a team you really worried about. They had no passing attack all year and we knew it, the offense destroyed them and the Defense played a great game obviously. I still feel this was a far more impressive game all around, considering the roll the Phins had been on and to be fair, the Bills had not shown up in all three phases in about 8 games. Yesterday was dominance of a team the majority of people expected to beat you. That was never the case in the Pats game, they barely squeaked into the game and got pummeled the way they were expected to.
  3. For me, there were a couple little plays out there that really stood out as great decisions/effort. The Knox reception and run was awesome as was Diggs on his long TD, he made such a sudden move to get off the CB as soon as that ball was in his hands and then to throw another spin and be able to shake loose, what a play! Other unsung ones, Harty catching a bad throw, getting up and getting the first down, big time play. Taron Johnson also made an exceptional play on Hill. Hill got the ball in the flat, Johnson was being blocked by a WR, but he didn’t do what most do and try to attack Hill, he kept his angle and he kept the inside, forcing Hill out of bounds for a 10 yard gain, but importantly, it didn’t turn into a game changer. That’s so big. Other standout, JA took a sack in the redzone, didn’t love it, thought he had a shot early in the play to swing it outside for positive yards, BUT the play broke and he made the smart/right choice to eat it and live for the next play. Absolutely fantastic game by Allen.
  4. Absolutely, the one saving grace is one was followed by a fumble the very next play. If you really look at this game, the Bills coulda/ really should have had 2 more turnovers go their way and Shakir should have caught the pass and walked into the end zone, his jump screwed him up and he never was ready for an absolutely perfect pass. (I am seeing why he’s not on the field more, now). It was an absolute domination and there was room for it to have been a 5 or 6 score differential. This is the most complete game I have seen from the Bills since the Super Bowl era and that is no hyperbole. When you consider the level of competition they just did that to, the only other game that’s close in the Josh era is the Pats playoff game, but be honest, that Pats team was not close to the same level.
  5. Rapp is a guy you are happy to have as a low cost chess piece, he’s not really a starter at any position. I think S is a big need in the off-season, PO is shot, Hyde is long in the tooth and a FA, there’s not a legitimate replacement for either of them on the roster. I don’t want Rapp back here on any big money deal, you can roll Neal out there and be in the same spot. Hopefully, Hyde stays healthy and we can get him a new 3 year deal (on paper) that is basically a one year guarantee and a reasonable cap hit for year 2, with a clean break after that. Replace PO in the draft or FA. Look at mid to late round prospects to bring along as a Hyde replacement this year and next.
  6. I don’t get it, not for me either. I don’t find her attractive in the least, but to each their own. I hope she distracts him every time the Bills play them.
  7. Kelce looked so LAZY on that last play, didn’t attempt to help Maholmes at all.. Taylor must be keeping him up at night.
  8. I wish they would do a better job, I have him in fantasy and could use it
  9. BS, that ball was perfect. Shakira’s hips lied to him and he mistimed the jump/hand position. He made an atrocious play. Even Davis makes that catch 90% of the time.
  10. That was nothing less than a perfect pass and an absolutely atrocious effort to catch it, that ball is caught 98% of the time by competent NFL WRs… of which Shakir is not.
  11. Then one would have to say McD is a horrible coach as he had the ability to take over any time and did not.
  12. It was pretty likely his last year as a Bill, it’s all but sure now.
  13. We already did, unfortunately it’s Benford, not Elam.
  14. Older and has to be back to full capability. I doubt we ever see him back as a Bill. Honestly, doubt he even tries to come back.
  15. No, he looked at his ankle and was touching his calf.. I’m making an educated guess.
  16. Looks like Achilles on White.. damn If so, that’s the last we see of him.
  17. Not the same position, but he is looking good.
  18. Looked like an unnecessary sack taken last drive, let’s hope it doesn’t come back to bite us.
  19. The new Tush Push
  20. If his head is right, absolutely. At this point it seems like he needs some real help.
  21. Yep, which is what Goff is doing bc he has WRs the D fears and has to respect. Also, to Dorsey’s credit, if I were a D coordinator, I’d also completely disrespect every WR except Diggs. Davis can’t catch a cold and the rest are fringe NFL players ( or so it appears). So the TEs should get some coverage as they are the only other real option. I hope so
  22. LaPorta looks like a steal, but it’s more to do with use than anything.
  23. I never saw it w Harty, told everyone he was a McK all over again.. sorry I was spot on. Bernard.. guess I’ll fire up the smoker bc I have crow to cook. He’s playing well.
  24. I would think they would try to swing a trade for David Mills, shouldn’t cost much and he’s definitely capable of winning. Wilson is awful. I thought he was looking a little better in preseason, now that the real bullets are flying, it’s ugly. I’m glad they took themselves out this year, it makes life easier… still absolutely pathetic the Bills lost to them, but it is what it is.
