  1. None. They had a “good season”. BTW, Good is the enemy of Great.
  2. I’d like to see them land some impact guys, no matter where, haven’t gotten on since Allen. Kincaid looks like he will be, but I can’t give a guy that they only throw the ball to within 5 yards an impact guy yet (yes that’s a slight hyperbole, but you know what I mean).
  3. Well, the team that scores the most points tends to win, the O had a chance to win it and Diggs got hit in the hands and couldn’t catch it.. sooooo
  4. The SCORE made it look like a toss-up, the second half, KC dominated. They never had to punt and the only reason the Bills even had a shot was pure luck after they set themselves up to be put away. A fake punt with 10 minutes left in the game on your own 29? With no actual scheme behind it no less? Fail. The bailout comes only because of a fumble that barely happened and snuck out the side of the end zone. From there they were shooting for the end zone with 2 minutes left on the clock when the prudent play was to take short gains and run the clock out so even if you do settle for a FG, you don’t set Mahomes and the offense you had t stopped all day for an opportunity to win. McD was clearly out classed, when it mattered, again.
  5. Hard to argue with that. I have been a major critic of Beane, I feel he did a good job filling the roster with the talent to get the job done this year. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have say over the coaching decisions and we see the end product continues to be less than expectations time and time again.
  6. I could not agree more. However, nothing is going to change and JA17 will go down as the most prolific QB to never win a championship.
  7. I have been as hard as anyone on Beane as a GM, I’ll say this. I still think there is entirely too much money invested in the DL and the Miller move was asking for problems (specifically after they’re-structure), BUT BUT, he did field a much better team this year and even when injuries came up and destroyed the D, he made one home run move in getting Douglas as well as admirably plugging holes at DT etc to give the team a shot. The lack of WR talent hurt down the stretch, but, again BUT, Diggs fell off a cliff in terms of impactful production, so the team was left without a true #1 out there, Davis never found it this year so your below average #2 underperformed even to his standards, yet Shakir emerged as something pretty good, Harty had moments, Sherfield… well after yesterday.. that looks bad, but he was a decent pick up and adding Kincaid to the mix, there should have been enough to win, especially with a viable run game. The OL, the run game, adding Kincaid all were massive improvements. I have to give credit where credit is due, I think Beane did a good job putting this roster together and mitigating disaster this season. Injuries happen, but to go into a playoff game against Kelce without two starting LBs, and your third being banged up at best, that’s tough. I blame McClappy getting Williams in there more, the kid has the tools and made some impact plays when he was in. Klein really doesn’t belong on the field as a cover guy, he did as well as one could hope, but I can’t fathom the logic of him over Williams other than “he knows the system and Williams is a rookie” which is really inexcusable.
  8. We all know they are going to run it back and try to sell the idea that guys will be back from injury and the young guys are getting better. Next year around this time, we’ll all be here for the same discussion and it’ll be the same plan and then finally in 2027, the plan will change because there is no other choice but a cap re-set year and the team will lose 8 games because Allen will still carry them beyond where they deserve to be. In the end, Allen will go down as Dan Marino’s successor as the guy that had to do it all for a team that could never hold up their end of the bargain and retire without a title, but tons of records.
  9. End of the day, it’s time for Josh to put this team on his back and cover up whatever the D can’t. Mahomes got the SB win with a garbage D, it’s time for Allen to do it. We all know he can and in all honesty, probably should already have one SB appearance had Leslie Frazier been fired when he should have been. So now is the time for JA17 to make it happen.
  10. I see the same guy I saw at Oregon, talented, but no “it” factor. Maybe it’s the terrible coaching, but maybe it’s just the same guy.
  11. Is he tho? He kinda looks like the West Coast Baker Mayfield.
  12. Why is everyone ignoring the facts? KC’s schedule was soft as a pillow! The only decent offensive teams they played, they’re either lost to, played their back up QB, or it was the Dolphins. How they haven’t been persecuted unmercifully for this is beyond me. Their D is about like ours when we had the “#1 defense” that got beat by the Chiefs in 13 seconds. That year I believe we faced 8 rookie or back-up QBs to pas the stats.
  13. I thought they said Spector was a definite go, surprised he’s already ruled out, must be more there than we knew. ***** Kirksey, why couldn’t he just wait it out? 😂
  14. With Lamar’s history of coming up small in big moments and the way the Texans D is playing, there is no reason to think they can’t make it a game. If Stroud continues to walk on water, the Ravens will be sitting at home for the AFC Championship game. It’s insane to see the Texans where they are, but I’m not underestimating them with Stroud on the roster. They did, but don’t forget 14pts were from the D and they had short fields a lot of the game. They played perfect “complimentary football”.
  15. If you want to feel even better, review their season, their best win is against… THE DOLPHINS! The team blasted for no quality wins, is the only significant win on the Chiefs record.
  16. I feel pretty good about this one. Injuries will be a big factor, really need some of the guys back on D, so that’s going to be tough. That said, Allen looked SHARP last game. If he brings the calm, cool, killer attitude with him, I think this is a win. To me, the absolute biggest thing is getting Douglas back to match up w Kelce and obviously Johnson would be a big help. The zone is going to be tested with Rice, but Kermit has not looked infallible this year so that is encouraging. Their D has been good, but they have played a lot of REALLY mediocre offenses, look at their schedule, the Lions were the best O they faced all year and that was the first game of the year before their rookies went scorched earth. People talk about the Dolphins having an easy schedule and no quality wins, KC’s best win this year is against THE DOLPHINS. For as down on this team as I have been all year, I think there’s a legit shot at the SB this year, nobody out there is unbeatable. The Ravens have a tough test this week, and are notoriously bad in the playoffs, to me they are the best team left, but McClappy has had their number, I think the Bills can win that if they get there. The NFC is a complete ***** show, so whoever makes it, still is beatable. There’s never been a better opportunity for the Bills to “steal” a title than this year. It would be amazing to pull it off. Next year only gets tougher as Burrow returns, Stroud/Texans continue to rise, SD gets new coach/new life and some of these other teams that just missed out get back to full strength, with some faith in their ability. The Bills need to add some pieces to stay at the top and don’t have a lot to work with money wise, so we are going to be running a lot of it back and hoping for some big improvements from guys who aren’t quite there yet. GO Bills! If you want to feel even better, review their season, their best win is against… THE DOLPHINS! The team blasted for no quality wins, is the only significant win on the Chiefs record.
  17. Personally, I don’t want Rapp back as anything more than a back-up, so if he comes back, it changes nothing to me. I’d look for a solid vet option and be looking to draft somebody that can be a real solution in the 2nd-4th rounds. If you say so. I have a life, so I have not re-watched every game, but watching PO is the same story as it always has been, terrible angles, missed opportunities and a few big hits. Hyde is still the brains of the operation.
  18. I knew that; however, the definition of insanity is thinking Mike McCarthy is going to ever get you over the jump.
  19. Basically the definition of insanity. Heads are going to explode when they make Dak the highest paid QB this off-season too.
  20. Cook kinda looks like Kamara.. I’m just saying
  21. I think Po is about cooked. Hyde, when healthy, is still really good. As a pair, I’d take them back; however, if Hyde goes, I’m dumping Po too.
  22. Let’s be real, Davis is not fast when he’s healthy, he’s only a deep threat because he is the guy they would rather have run straight vs try to nuanced tree. Shakir and Harty can both do more than him as a WR, blocking, well that’s better with the big body. The other consideration, exactly how many times does anyone think we are “going deep” in the middle of January in Buffalo? Honestly, Davis is not a big loss and it might well be a net gain to get the more explosive guys on the field. No offense to Davis, but I don’t think he scores the way Shakir did last week. Shakir was absolutely electric in college and has found his sea legs in the pros, he should get more touches and has been earning them. I know this is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early, but I think the kid can be a Diggs-type WR for us next year and beyond. I’m not saying he’s going to be a 100 catch guy, but he got similar size and skills to Diggs and looks like he can do a little of everything, kind of like Diggs. Given the opportunity, I think he can actually do considerably more than Davis if he’s pressed into the #2 role.
  23. Really hope he’s not actually playing, dude is sooooooo slow to punt, can’t afford a block.
  24. Dooooo it and make sure it’s heavy in signing bonus so you can’t cut him without a massive cap hit later.
