Should be by the end of week 4. No they didn’t.
-
Exactly, from what I’ve seen, I don’t really want either of them, but at very least MT has had a little success in the league and Lance has not.
-
The minute a starter goes down for a contender, he’s getting called and he’s absolutely going to be the best available. He’s past his prime, but he’s still a mid to low level starter, capable enough to get you to the playoffs.
-
What on earth are you watching to think Lance is more than hot garbage? The guy sucks, so does MT. They are back-ups for a reason. Lance is the #3 to a leprechaun, and Rush is CLEARLY better than him. Let Dallas tank themselves if they are banking on Lance. This team is all on JA, if he’s out, none of it matters anyway. This offense is a joke without Allen, it doesn’t matter what back-up you put out there, there’s no real talent to work with, it’s not going to be good.

La Porta is a FAR more complete TE that out produced Kincaid all year, so how is he NOT better? Oh and was taken well later. Rousseau was a solid pick, shouldn’t have been drafting DE when the position was dried up, Barramore was there for the taking, but you can have this one. You answered your own question for Edmunds. Tre wasn’t his pick, so it doesn’t matter now does it? And yet again, you claim Beane to be a Wizard, but misses guys that went later.. So it appears you just don’t like my opinion, because facts ruin your story.

That’s exactly ONE time he got the best player available at the position he chose to draft, forget all the others available to take, in all his drafts. Also Tre White is Whaley.
-
I have them as a dark horse SB contender.
-
Cousins is a top 10 QB and they got a guy they think can be one, I have no issue with it. Cousins is 10x anything we had here between JA and Kelly.
-
Good time to be a Falcons fan, they are all in.

Look, the stats are what they are, BUT who’s to say another guy wouldn’t have been just as good, if not better. RBs have been plugged into systems and succeeded for stints for many teams, over many years. The most famous being the Broncos, making everyone and their brother look good. Cook is pretty fast, but it’s all he brings. I would argue, Ty Johnson would be just as successful and possibly more reliable than Cook. So long as Davis gets over the fumble issue, he will over take Cook as the primary guy, pretty quickly and Johnson may be the primary back-up. NFL is Not For Long when you can’t do the basics. He sucks at pass blocking, can’t be relied on to catch and isn’t a strong inside runner. Davis does all of it, Samuel can do everything Cook does and Johnson is just as fast, just slightly less bounce to him. Cook may find himself the odd man out, pretty quickly this year.

Bills @ Steelers - Preseason Game 2 - Sat 8/17 7PM

I’m guessing we will be shopping for a kicker at cut down time. Bass can’t be making 2/3 of his kicks and missing the distance you really need to have in the bag, especially when that’s already cost you playoff games. -
I mean that was basically the scouting report coming out and why Zamir White was ahead of him in college.. but Beane outsmarted everyone and got Kamara .02.
-
He sucked, had he been a 5th round pick he’d probably be looking for a camp invite, his potential seems to keep people waiting for him to be more than he is.

Caleb Williams WILL play against Buffalo on Saturday

I’m not going to say that’s appropriate.. but I’m not going to disagree either. -
Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
DCofNC replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kincaid will lead the team receiving and Samuel will lead the team in scrimmage yards. Kincaid should break 1k and I think Samuel will combine for around 1200 yards between runs and catches. Everyone else is along for the ride. -
There was no bad PR, just a sect with differing views from his. A bunch of whiny “free speech, if it fits my views” type made it a big deal.

John Elway admits Josh Allen was his biggest regret

yeah, polling biased fans is going to get a biased answer. I prefer Josh all day long, but I’d rather have the Championships over anything. -

Oh you are crazy, nobody of nobody would trade Mahomes for JA and White. I love Josh, but he’s #2 (or 3,4,5 depending on your opinion). The Jefferson reference was to the person saying it’s “nice to be on this side of” the regret. The Bills may be pumped to have Allen, but it’s hard to ignore they traded the best players at both QB and WR in the league. As somebody I would like to root for, Josh, all day. Mahomes I find hard to like, but if he were a Bill, Id be rocking a Kermit head to the tailgate, so it is what it is. -

I’ll say this, ANY time you are trading back because you know the guy you “want” will be there, you should just go another direction entirely, ESPECIALLY if it’s a QB. I’m a little more optimistic about Coleman because I think he was falling bc of his speed and the traits available with others made it likely they could get him. Doesn’t mean it’s a good pick, just LESS stupid than taking a QB nobody wants. -

I disagree with you on EJ. He was a liability at FSU and he couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat in the middle of the Atlantic. He was an athlete who played QB and it carried him as far as it could. He had no business being a 1st round pick and honestly, if he was ANY good, he could have done something after leaving Buffalo, but he just bombed out. He never was NFL caliber. That’s no slight, he made it to high level D-1, but that’s it. -

Still arguable. I wouldn’t take him. -
James Cook has less touches than Ray Davis over past 5 seasons
DCofNC replied to freddyjj's topic in The Stadium Wall
It will be interesting to watch how it plays out, Davis is a better prospect out of college as an actual RB and pass catcher, I still have no idea why Beane felt Cook was worth a 2nd, but I digress. Assuming Davis keeps the ball off the ground, I expect him to overtake the lead role by mid-season. Cook isn’t a physical runner and it appears that will be a premium. -

Funny story, I almost crashed my car over the Maybin pick. I got stuck having to drive during the draft, so I was listening to the draft on the radio. I couldn’t believe Orakpo had fallen to us, it was a no brainer, and then they didn’t have a brain. I threw my hands up in disbelief and hit my wheel on the way up, almost threw my car into a concrete barrier. That one along with Whitner was just inexcusable with Ngata on the board. All of that was horrible, but EJ? Oh man, I just gave up. I used to follow FSU almost exclusively and was PUMPED he was leaving. Sure enough the Bills take him… I could have lived with it in the 4th round, where most had him ranked, but to trade down and then take him 🤮. I would have taken GeNO and been ok-ish with it. At least he was good in college. Awful, just awful. Only bonus for me was Winston came in and won the Championship with the same FSU team EJ let down for years, so I got some sort of win.
