Hont, the same place they got him for considerably less than what he’s now being paid. He’s another OK player taking up valuable cap space. If he had shown any indication he could be the 2023 version of himself, it’s a great deal, as of right now it looks like a signature run it back and hope for a different result move.

Has he said he’s chasing a ring? He’s doing a job, most people take the job closest to where they are comfortable and get paid the most they can for those circumstances. It’s no different for these guys and they certainly don’t care fans think, forget about what a fan of another team thinks. I’m sure he’d like to win and ideally he’d like to do it where he wants to be. It wasn’t long ago we praised guys for loyalty and were salty about them chasing money, now a guy stays with his team and gets market value and people say he’s chasing something, make it make sense.

Playing next to Jones, he would be a problem… if he can stay on the field (not laying on it holding an injury).

He ditched AAAAron to get paid and there’s whole Carr thing didn’t work out. He might chase Rodgers, but I doubt it, that’s a one year dumpster fire. I predict a ring chase or all about the money. If he’s chasing, we have a shot. If it’s all about the Benjamins then not so much.

The best part (as an angry/jealous fan), is he bet on himself being worth a huge deal in FA this offseason, even before the injury, that wasn’t going to happen the way he thought and now he’s out himself squarely in the “hope to get a good 1 year prove it deal” category and I strongly doubt he’ll ever recover the money he pissed away by not being able to be professional. If he ever gets a deal for more than 2 years of guaranteed money again, I’ll be shocked.

The only real mistake was not reading the signs and giving him that extension. That dead cap hit last year may well have been the difference between the Bills winning the SB and not.

That was the sneakiest 100 tackle season ever. Good for him.

Stats don’t tell the whole story. Josh Allen is MVP and Lamar out performed him in damn near every possible category. Years past Lamar was MvP and JA outperformed him in most statistical categories. The difference a player makes on the team is not measured purely in stats. Teams HAVE to respect the fact Worthy can take the top off and Mahomes has the arm to hit him. Coleman strikes exactly zero fear in a D, he’s just a big plodder, not drawing extra coverage anywhere. The reason the middle of the field opened up for Buffalo was teams shifting their eyes to Coop a little bit, imagine the threat of Worthy taking the top off and having a HoF TE running free in the middle of the field for 100+ catches.. oh wait, you can just watch the replays.. KCs OL is hot garbage and there was nobody besides Kelce to take any attention from Worthy for the majority of the year, he still made an impact. Coleman on the other hand had one game where he actually made an impact.
