  1. Not to mention the returner then not being aware he HAS to catch the ball.
  2. Bad play Allen, had lots of yards to at least make that an easier 4th down if he ran.
  3. Josh has 5TDs and isn’t even in the game… F this D/ST
  4. That false start call being missed is huge.
  5. Nah, just a team that can run, it’s been the formula all along, the Rams are just executing It. Can’t afford to sell out to stop the run or the pass and that’s game.
  6. AJE, Milano, Hamlin and Douglas all need to take a seat.
  7. Stats don’t tell the whole story, especially points scored. The OL is a solid unit, but there is not one of those guys that anybody outside of Buffalo is calling a top of the line player. They are all good, there’s no glaring weakness, it’s a good balance. If Allen is top end talent, then nobody else is close. To be that, you have to be in the “elite” tier of talent at your position. The only guy who’s even in the discussion for top 5 at their position on O is Cook. Shakir could be debated at Slot WR, but not at WR in general. So yes, my definition of top tier is that, TOP TIER, not lower.
  8. It seems most don’t understand just how good of a situation the Bills have at back up QB. You have a former #2 overall pick, who started multiple seasons, for a couple teams and has had some success in the NFL. To have him here, cheap, is the best you can hope for. I’ll take him all day over Cooper Rush, which is what you are hoping for by throwing away a draft pick on a late round developmental guy. The odds of hitting on a guy who’s going to add any value to your team at QB, is low even in the early rounds, much less late. For every Purdy, there’s 1000 guys you can’t remember their name or never even knew it. It’s cool to hit on them, but there’s a good handful of guys playing meaningful minutes on this team, drafted in the 5th/6th rounds, give me a CB,LB, OL etc with traits and an actual chance to play.
  9. We have different definitions of “top talent” to me there is Allen, Taron, healthy Milano, Bernard and Benford is getting hard to deny. Everyone else is at least a half tier lower.
  10. They said devoid of TOP TIER talent and I’d actually have to agree on that, especially with the knowledge of the roster at the beginning of the year. Cook has definitely shown to be a special talent, some would consider top tier some might consider just a notch below that. I don’t have him as Saquon/Henry level, but he’s definitely in the next group of RBs. At WR, the talent isn’t overwhelming, even with Cooper. TE is probably the most disappointing performing group this year and a lot of us were expecting big things from Kincaid. I will give this staff and the team a LOT of credit though, this team is getting a much better whole than the sum of its parts. They have played great football as a team (most games), and haven’t put the entire burden on JA17. I think it’s fair to question if they can do it when it counts the most, but the results thus far have been very impressive.
  11. I bet he would be scary good in college. Complete control of a system, dominant D, would be awesome. I don’t believe he won’t be able to land an NFL job this cycle, if he’s willing to give up a little power, but he’s so close to the all-time wins record, it’s gotta happen. Giants with the #1 pick might just be the ticket.
  12. That was just awesome no matter how you look at it. At first I was like “oh bad pass”, which quickly turned to “No F****** way!”. Amazing play by Cooper really and Josh w a great finish. I ALMOST couldn’t believe Collinsworth not help himself and had to bring up KC, but of course he did.
  13. Man, they have hyped up the 3-peat, but I think it’s more of making them the “bad guys” because everyone needs somebody to hate. With Brady and the Pats gone, they need a villain. Now the question is, do they want to swing one for Buffalo to sell more revenue on that stadium or are they going to try to validate Lamar and send one to Baltimore. I think the better interest of the league lies with the Bills and making the ticket prices and PSLs sell at a premium for the new stadium. If they bump the revenue for the Bills they all make more money. If there’s one thing you should Always follow it’s the money. I’d bet, if there is a “script” or at least a helping hand for a team, it will favor the Bills this year. It makes more sense if you think about the loss to Baltimore, it sets up a nice conference final story about them crushing the Bills early in the year. So even if they lose, the Ravens will have 2 MVP candidates and will only have lost to the eventual SB champs. Then they can come for more next year. Ok, but in defense of Pierce, the kicker had already missed 3 FGs, getting it closer wasn’t THAT dumb.
  14. Nice, hope he see some time this week.
  15. If he’s healthy enough to go, you have to play the guy. It’s the starting QB, if he can protect himself and make the expected throws, regardless of discomfort, he’s gotta be out there. No excuses. How many times have we seen JA and other greats beat up, but out there for the team? Purdy isn’t on that level, but he’s the starter, he’s gotta go out there if he can.
  16. Which is 1/5 of JAs next signing bonus
  17. I don’t know why, but Ford was just not good here, I think everyone left that relationship disappointed.
  18. I expect him to come back a bit SLOWER than Cooper. I’ll see myself out.
  19. Lamar Jackson cares the most bc it’s all he can ever achieve. We all know, when it comes to the post season, he folds like origami.
  20. Say what you want, but I’ll give Johnson credit for recognizing he isn’t the best person to make the decision and seeking advice. The question will be, will any legitimate candidates be willing to walk into the dumpster fire and try to make it work? They do have a pretty talented roster, but QB is a major problem.
  21. There is also something going on here where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Comparably, I don’t think this team is as individually talented as many of the contenders, but as a team, they are playing really great ball. The D has really stepped up, even with injuries to key guys, the O is doing enough and mostly capitalizing on the opportunities the D has been providing. This is going to be a tough team to beat down the stretch. Detroit will certainly be an indicator of how good the D really is. I think Allen can keep the O on pace with the Lions, BUT if they come out and run the ball down the throat like the Ravens did, it’s a bad sign. I’m just looking forward to a strong finish to the season and hopefully some stuff breaks our way as the post season rolls around. It’s time to see the Bills in a SB again.
  22. Ehh, I really don’t want them to feel they need to run the ball more against this team. If there’s one major concern this year it’s run D, also just so happens to be the strength of almost all of the real contenders O. A bit scary.
