  1. Sorry you can't handle the truth.
  2. No, its that what you said is not hownthe real world works. You don't get to choose what you like, either you score or you don't. Moving the balls for 600 yards is nothing if you don't score. Call it "flukie" or whatever you want, but they coughed up the ball and couldn't finish. They managed 17 points for a whole game. That is what LOSES most games. Just because the Jets sucked more, doesn't mean you have a "great offense".
  3. Great offenses score points, losers move the ball and dont get anything from it.
  4. So by the OP's logic, the plays you don't like, dont count. Makes sense to me! I guess the fact that 0 points went on the board doesn't matter at all.
  5. I saw him get some penetration, just didn't see him finishing plays, looked like he couldn't get off the blocks a lot if times. I have been looking back at the game and I see more if what he was doing in retrospect. Pretty good game, especially for the first one out of the gates. He certainly caused Darnold some headaches, even if they dont go down as anything in the stat sheet. Shaq seemed to benefit from him quite a bit and that was nice to see, also liked when they put Shaq inside and let him rush the passer, that might be a better place for him. Use him more like a JJ Watt, outside on early downs, scoot him inside and let him use his quickness and inline skills to get after the passer on passing downs. The two of them inside on passing situations should be a nightmare for teams.
  6. He gets a C from me, that's only because of the win. He made some really terrible decisons that should have been turn overs, that crap wont fly in the real world. They should have been blown out, but the Jets couldn't do much of anything on O either. Good news is he managed to finish it off.
  7. Wow, i thought he was pretty much invisible today. The tackle he made on the outside was pretty nice though. Guess I missed some. Shaq coming from the inside looks like he should be moved there permanently. He can't get home from the outside, but interesting in the middle.
  8. And look who couldn't finish game 1.
  9. Umm, what part of $30M guaranteed money was voided and he gets $9M guaranteed says to you it didn't cost him a cent? If he gets hurt or the Pats decide they don't want to deal with his ***** anymore, it will hurt more, but right now he's got 20M in limbo.
  10. Awesome, wish the game was on in my area, thanks for sharing!
  11. In fairness, you have to see what happens with Ferrell, we all think we know where guys will be drafted and are always wrong. If he turns into a stud, it was a great pick, if not, he looks pretty dumb.
  12. I think Mayock had enough and played AB like a fiddle, using the public forum is brilliant, it eliminates the question of wrongly terminating his contract.
  13. A few tears ago nobody could stop the Wildcat, it didn't last and neither will the stuff behind the LOS, NFL athletes are too fast and physical for it to work as a major part of the game. Theres a reason end arounds, flee flickers, hell even conventional screen plays aren't used much, they require a failure on the D and perfect execution and a playmaker all coming together for it to work. It's all well and good, but Andy Reid always starts off hot and his team ***** the bed around mid season and can't finish because trick bull ***** only works so long before teams expect the "unexpected". No, there are plenty of guys that run routes and catch the ball down field, outside of fly routes. He gets a lot of short pass, behind LOS, bubble screen stuff, he makes plays, as I said. He can be shut down and my bet is he will be this year. The good thing he has going is a lot of other threats around which makes it harder to focus on him.
  14. And thats part of it, little guys rarely last.
  15. Yeah, thats exactly what Im saying. Hill is a helluva playmaker, but a conventional WR he is not. A lot of yards came on gadget bull#### and crazy scrambles that broke defenses down by Maholmes. I'd take a bet he wont break 1000 yards this year, teams can plan for him AND he's buily like a school girl, he wont last.
  16. Unreal. How the hell are they paying 2 wrs, neither a true #1, 34M a year and still doling out monster deals to other guys too.. soon to be the same mess Reid left Philly in. It will be Maholmes and the grocery baggers in 3 years. The contract conveniently lines up with having to pay the QB
  17. He's a good player when healthy, he just has never proved he can be a number 1. His chance is here, hope he crushes it.
  18. Allen certainly is the Playmaker, but I think the point is, even Rodgers, who is far more polished, but a similar physical ability type, needs talent around him to go anywhere substantial. The Bills don't have anybody else on this roster who has proven to be an explosive playmaker. Brown and Foster have ability, but Brown has only one 1000 yard season and Foster has all of about a 5 game resume. Not a lot to go on. The backfield is a rookie who was deemed "too slow", which has yet to be determined, a 36 year old and an average back with good hands, nothing exciting there. TEs are all unproven at best. It's easy to see where the questions come from, because there are no answers yet. On the D, nobody has solidified a spot as an elite player either. Theres a bunch of guys who are all pretty damn good, but I would actually argue Hyde is the biggest X factor and he's not recognized as one of the elites either. Tre is a half step slow, Hughes is old, Oliver has done nothing in an actual NFL game, the LBs as a whole haven't proved anything other than potential yet. All that said, good TEAMS are better than the sum of their parts, ask the Pats, but it usually requires a couple of real standouts at key positions for that to work. Basically Allen and a couple guys catching passes have to become bigtime playmakers every game to win.
  19. Gotta go find 2 DE and real WR, going to need some LB help and probably a corner or 3. Depending on Singletary's year, you may need a starting Rb and theres plenty of guys to extend.
  20. So what is the consequence for Jones saying screw the cap, Im keeping my guys?
  21. Be real, Ramsey is an ass, but hes also elite and nobody on the Bills is in that territory, yet at least. No Tre is not as good as Ramsey so don't bother. I would love to know what you find false, looks SPOT ON, to anyone without bias.
  22. Thats a lot. I'm sure Dak is worth 40M per then lol. Bold. I don't agree with them missing the playoffs if only because I don't think there is anybody to fear in their division.
  23. Sorry guys, the same ***** would've been said about EJ.. end of the day, is there actual NFL talent to back it? We are soon to find out.
  24. Way more likely than Bell, MVP usually goes to a guy on a team over .500
  25. Hes not as good as Zeke, plus general thoughts around the league are backs are replaceable, hes in for a rude awakening.
