  1. He’s going to be right there w Maholmes, hopefully the structure is good for us.
  2. Why is anybody scared of the Colts? They are not a super talented team and their QB is the ultimate Playoff choke artist. The teams that “scare” me are Baltimore, Tenn, Cleveland, all have explosive playmakers that you have to be very careful of. All very beatable, but dangerous nonetheless. Outside of getting another match up with Halfa and the Dolphins, there wasn’t a better option for the first round.
  3. If the Bills are a Super Bowl team, they shouldn’t be fearing the 🎣
  4. If I’m Fitz, I’m staying in Miami. He’ll get to start again, he’ll be in better weather and he won’t get state income tax, which is a helluva difference! Buffalo is not exactly where any back up QB with desire to play should be coming. Tell the Patriots how hard is was to beat Buffalo over 90% of the time for 20 years straight.
  5. Oh man do we disagree on who should be considered priority, but I see where you are coming from. To me, I let the starters go out and try to put up early points, Miami isn’t built to rally. So I’m looking for first half starters, keep them sharp. Second half, Josh, Diggs, Smoke, Dawkins, Morse, Milano, Poyer, Tre, Hughes, Hyde and Wallace all have to sit. Everyone else is replaceable by their back up, but any of those are huge losses.
  6. I want them to rest everyone, but I also want Diggs to lead the league in everything 😂. It means nothing, but what redemption for him and Allen after tough years with perceptions last year.
  7. He did make a good move for himself at the time. I didn’t blame him and was happy he left. The problem, he is a giant leader of cronies and took all the bad hires with him and got Coughlin running the team. He had a loaded roster and unofficially (the officials took it away) won the AFC Championship. Once he didn’t have top line talent, he and Bortles both crumbled. PS I still want Bortles as our back up, foolish that we kept Barkley and let him sit on a practice squad all year. His game is so close to Allen’s, it’s a way better fit at back up. Obviously, he’s not in the same universe as Josh’s level of success, but he’s still better than Barkley and I would feel pretty confident in his ability to keep the O going in the event Josh was out. He did pretty well when surrounded with a lot of talent, but he’s not good enough to carry a team that has none. There’s talent here.
  8. Same here, never thought he was worth a crap and he proved it in Jax. He and his cronies ran that team into the ground, good riddance.
  9. I don’t know if the individual team games would work or not, the case being that the Cowboys will certainly generate more viewers, than the Bills, and if there’s an individual team rate, does the league actually LOSE money because so many big market team fans bought the whole package before vs taking a smaller chunk now? From a consumer standpoint, sign me up, from a revenue stand point? Not sure it actually works. Once you charge more than $10 a game, you are getting too close to paying for the whole ticket anyway, might as well bite the bullet and just have the whole thing. At $10 a game, I’m questioning if it’s still worth it (presumably you would get a $160 a year for one team or pay $15 per individual game, which to me seems like I’d just say screw it for that one game I want to watch anyway. I’m not sure it flies to be honest.
  10. Could be, I don’t know a thing about him personally. Just because you are a great coordinator, doesn’t mean you are a head coach. The roles are very different and to be honest, had Josh not developed, Dabolls history is not good. His refusal to change his scheme to meet the talent of his team is also worrisome. He may be here for longer than the paranoid think, but then again Gase got a job sooo. Last year makes your statements look correct. Lest we forget, his scheme played against everything his roster did well, this year Allen turns into a monster, with no formal off season to speak of and Daboll becomes a genius..
  11. I don’t doubt 85 yards, not even for a second, the way he literally just flips the ball 50+ yards, he’s got WAAAAAAY more in the tank. I remember his pro day, saying to myself “I’m not sure he could hit water if he fell out of a boat, but holy **** he has a huge arm.” I don’t think Maholmes can hang with him in terms of just brute distance, but in game action they both have more than enough to make any throw that will ever be asked of them.
  12. I’d much rather play Miami than the Ravens. Jackson is dangerous, Miami is getting by on a lot of luck, which almost always runs out in the playoffs. I’d rest the starters week 17 regardless of the seed.
  13. Now that’s funny right there. Elway is not the Genius people make him out to be.
  14. He’s physically the most talented. That’s where it ends only due to lack of continued success. Rodgers is absolutely putting on one of, if not the best, QB performances in a single season, ever. Maholmes is still unreal and Russ has years in showing he’s elite. If Josh goes out and leads the team to a SB win, ok, he’s GOT to be in the discussion, but he’s got to prove it all first. I won’t argue, he’s move himself solidly into the top 8 guys without question, I have him in the top 5 without question, but the Top 5 are all so good, there is question on who is the best and that’s why we have to default to body of work.
  15. All valid, but they do have talent there, an owner who will spend big, no income tax, good weather and are allowed to have fans (not that anybody would go) in the stadium. There’s a chance for a quick turn around. They can attract FAs for more than just “we’ll pay the most”, I think they could be pretty good, pretty quick.
  16. I think the Jags can come right back to a contender with real coach and Lawrence, that’s a team, not all that far removed from winning the AFC Championship with Bortles at QB. Now granted, the NFL sent the Patriots to the SB, but it’s not a complete wasteland. They will get a hot coach to go there with Lawrence. The Jets just screwed up big.
  17. Gilliam got held on the 5 as well, but just a fantastic read by Allen, took what was given and literally ran with it.
  18. By figured out, you mean could have taken Mack instead of Watkins? Or gone for Evans, Beckham or others without giving up the pick the year after? Yeah, coulda done all that.. but somebody has to be the punch line of the jokes and before this year, that was the best strategy to get national media attention.
  19. I’m only looking for 2 for the starters 😉
  20. He sure showed everyone they were wrong about him.
  21. I’m really hoping there is a chance for Beasley to get force fed over the next two weeks, the guy is 162 yards shy of 1000. It would be awesome to have 2 WRs with 1k and with the way he has contributed this year, I would love to see him get it.
  22. He did well against Watt, but was also getting a lot of help and it also appeared Watt got injured, so while it was nice having him be limited in impact, I don’t think Williams gets all the credit here. Good job scheming for Watt, making sure he got chipped extra, but he still got a lot of pressure on Allen, especially first half.
  23. He’s useless.
