  1. I’m sorry, I’m calling bull#### on this. He’s invisible and not getting pressures, hit or sacks, so take your metrics and show me results.
  2. Jackson does have limitations, but he’s still a helluva weapon. He’s a lot like Vick was, not the best passer, but such a PITA to contain. He’s dynamic and as long as he’s healthy, he’s a top 10 QB, not on passing, but in production. Murray is a helluva passer, totally different players, not going further into it other than his height can make it hard to see the field from the pocket. Allen, through 3 games, looks like he is starting to be a real good QB. He’s playing an awful lot like Big Ben at similar points in their career. He’s still making some realllllllllly bad decisions in terms of ball security and sometimes the situational awareness isn’t the best, but overall, he looks like a force to be reckoned with. If he puts a whole season together like this, you have a legitimate star/MVP candidate. So far you have 3 games where he looks like a much improved/complete QB. Trashing others to prop him up is silly. He should either be good enough to generate his own hype or not.
  3. So far, steal. He looks really good to be honest, I’m very optimistic.
  4. Yeah, Inthink we all remember last year when we would have given him away. Great play makes things a lot easier. Allen has stepped up, Diggs was a huge add and the line is arguably better as well, so his schemes are easier to make happen. When he wasn’t getting great play, he refused to adjust. I’m not super sold on him.
  5. It’s all a cycle, remember the Bills went small to stop the pass with Jaron, got ran over, so next they went big and got passed all over. Now the teams have been going to hybrid Safties as LBs again and the heavy run game returns. The key will be have a team that can handle both. The old formula of great corners, versatile LBs that don’t get eaten up in the run, and a good DL will win. You still have to be able to stop the run so you don’t get crushed, but you can’t be forced to sell out for it, or you get the ball thrown over your head. The teams that went small, will get run on, the idea is to score more in this day in age. Ball control may work, but that’s not the current trend. It might be the “new” way as teams have built to stop the pass, so now you can run on them, and keep the ball out of the hands of the high flying offenses. Look what NE did to LV. The Raiders were looking great and got ran over and held to nothing.
  6. Glad he’s finding a job.
  7. Hopefully, this was a one week issue, but the Rams destroyed the D in the second half, the blueprint is there. I fear the Pats will steamroll the Bills again, just in a different form. The good news is the Offense has scored, but Billicheat seems to have another good D this year too. I’m definitely not crowing the Bills as division champs yet.
  8. He did not have a good game yesterday, bit on some run fakes etc. The whole D was garbage yesterday, but McVay can do that to you to an extent. They figured out the LBs wouldn’t hold assignment and just pummeled the Bills, forced CBS to come up and then faked to go behind them. Good scheme, all set up by lack of discipline.
  9. I’m calling bust on draft position, yes. Shouldn’t be drafting a MLB that high (generally speaking) and this one is not working out.
  10. I don’t agree with you on last year, he was pretty bad last year too, but made some flash plays people get enamored with. He’s built to play outside, McD is jamming a square peg in a round hole. The honest truth, he’s a great athlete, not a football player. He has no instincts at all. He’s just about opposite of Josh Allen who is a pure football player that needed refinement, still needs more btw, vs a guy who has all the tools and no football instincts at all. Allen has grown and his physical gifts are a huge bonus, all Edmunds has is athletic ability. He’s a Whaley type pick and I’m going to proclaim it, he’s a bust. You might as well move him outside and see if that will work, but he’s not the guy they planned for.
  11. I’ve been told it’s a “litmus” test for people’s football IQ if you think Edmunds isn’t the better/ more important player vs Milano. Be careful, you are questioning the all mighty McBeane.
  12. He had a great first half, definitely had room for improvement in the second half, good last Drive, still wrought with issues, but he made the win happen. My biggest issue is his selfishness, he obviously took a facemask penalty to be able to throw for 300 yards 😂
  13. Might want to find some LBs too, but having a bunch of 3 techs and no 1 Techs isn’t working.
  14. Davis is quickly asserting himself as the number 2, Brown is a bigger threat as of now, but make no mistake, if he’s out long, his job is on shaky ground as far as targets are concerned.
  15. Oh, where are the people telling me he’s a stud? The guy has belonged outside his WHOLE CAREER, he is playing out of position. He’s not Keukley, he’s not Ray Lewis, he’s a joke as an MLB.
  16. I agree completely, we really need to see Allen against good teams and see if this team is real or not.
  17. The absolute best thing they could hope for is a Rivers/Breese situation and then slap a tag on Sam, deal him for picks. It’s hard to give up on Darnold, but in no way, shape or form do you let a guy as highly regarded as Trevor slip past you for a hope that you have the right guy. Only idiot teams do that, it would be like not drafting Watson or Maholmes because you have Tyrod Taylor showing a lot of promise, there is NO team dumb enough to do that.
  18. Spot on. I do expect Carolina to pick up enough wins to screw their chances, their schedule is full of teams that should be drafting top 5, we’ll see though.
  19. Fitzpatrick comes to mind. I don’t believe in throwing money at a 2 game show. When you tie your franchise to a guy for 3-4 more years minimum, he better be THE guy. Josh is looking much improved, but teams are not up to full speed yet, and the two he faced, generally suck, so give it the season. It’s better to pay him what he’s worth than pay him what a win should be worth and have to suffer through years with a wildly inconsistent crap shoot.
  20. In theory, This is the year to do it, before prices go up. That said, with Maholmes already signed, I don’t think it matters anymore, that’s the top of the market. I would wait until after the season and make a judgment.
  21. Yep, pretty standard game for him, invisible.
  22. Call me when he makes a real impact.
  23. I’m going to guess it’s more to do with adjusting to the league, remember, no preseason to see the difference. Moss has enough speed and burst. He was better this week than last, though he hasn’t really hit his stride yet. I college he ran more like a Le’veon Bell, slow take off and then smash the hole, that could be what you are seeing in his slow take off. If/when he adjusts it will be an asset.
  24. The guy is a baller, not that it wasn’t already obvious from Minn. what I didn’t realize is how much better he made everyone else in the WR group. Guys are diving, fighting, blocking and playing good aggressive football. Diggs has made a REAL impact on this team. It’s more than just what he can do in the field, he’s the leader they needed and holding people accountable. I like it. I thought they gave up too much to bring him in vs. the rookie class and then obviously the Hopkins trade, but I was wrong. Even if this is a start he can’t maintain, his impact is bigger than the stat line. He and Brown will have 1k yards each and Gabe Davis is going to be a really big contributor, the kid has game, he may only get a handful of looks a game to start, but I really like the pick. Beasley also is going to benefit a lot from him, he’s back to a true 3rd option, right where he can thrive. Diggs really needs to take Knox on as his project haha. Knox is the Josh Allen of TEs, so much raw talent, but so many things to clean up. Hopefully, both of them learn more ball security, it’s the only flaw that’s a real issue right now. Love them both, but you can see Defenses are keyed in on taking the ball away before tackling them as neither will just go down, gotta get that fixed.
  25. I really thought the Bills would be running more early in the year, 2 young backs, a lot of good run blockers on the line, yet it’s been a lot more passing. Obviously, it’s been working for the most part. It looked like Miami could not stop the run yesterday, yet they went away from it. Allen obviously had a good day, so no complaints on the end result. Both Singletary and Moss were averaging about 5 per carry (Singletary’s average was way more legit consistency). I am a little surprised this has been the trend so far. It’s not like the Phins really lined up and told Josh to beat them. The Jets have a good run D and they tried more there. What do you expect to see going forward?
