Titans LB Kamalei Correa Requests Trade UPDATE: traded to Jax
DCofNC replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds has flashed a bit too, but this year has been a bigger liability than he was last year. His run D has always been bad, he was fast enough to run with LBs in coverage, which is why he’s playing the middle. He’s not even doing that now. So to cover it all, he offers no pass rush, no pass defense and gets steam rolled against the run. You take him out. If it’s health, fine, go heal, but a shoulder doesn’t excuse being out of position all game. If there was any depth here, Edmunds would be in the same boat. You can’t actually trade him because they have no depth, but he should not see the field when there is another option. -
Titans LB Kamalei Correa Requests Trade UPDATE: traded to Jax

At this point, whatever it takes to get him off the field is good by me. Edmunds is literally the worst player on this D. I know people are still holding out hope because he’s a great athlete, but he’s not a football player. Correa is a little limited, but has flashed a bit in the past. Edmunds scares exactly nobody, I want to find the clown who was telling me Offenses had to scheme around him earlier this year. The only scheming being done is finding him and going right at him. -
The guy is <——> close to being a major factor. He’s awesome with the ball in his hands and is doing a better job protecting it too, that said, if he can’t consistently catch the ball, he’s gotta go.
-
I really wouldn’t be shocked to see him take the year off, but if he’s willing to sign, get it done.

All those premium picks on defense...

Does his Shoulder hurting make his friggin brain stop? I was literally able to call out his misreads in real time last night. One was particularly awful, there was a run fake towards the left, he didn’t move, Tannehill drops back to pass and Edmunds finally runs left, leaving his gap wide open for Tannehill to throw right through for a big gain. He’s so far behind he’s almost early in abandoning his assignment. They have to get him off the field ASAP. -

Nope, I’d trade him for Correa -

I thought Poyer showed as the best player in the secondary today.. that’s not saying much, but yeah.. -
They do not show any speed for sure, I am impressed with the moves 26 can make though.

Postgame Thread: Bills at Titans

Out of this, I think we can say, McD is not a Coach of the year Candidate, his time management and game management have not improved. Edmunds is a bust, let him play out 4th year or better yet, trade him. Milano, by far the biggest key to this D, sad because he’s just a good player. Hyde, washed up. There is a lot of Money spent across this line and not a lot of talent left. Db is thin. JA is not quite as polished as he looked bs garbage D’s, he really cost us this game with that last pick. Not real worried about him, still looks good. RB is not a set position, go grab Bell if it’s viable -

So 1) why go for the 2 instead of 1? Dumb. If you miss you force 2 tds, bad game management AGAIN by McD. There was no gain to go for 2, horrible call. 2) Edmunds sucks, I’m not even trying to sugar coat it any more. 3) JA, ***** day, hope he adds something here at the end. 4) this D won’t win a championship, but it will lose games. -
Go get him. He wants to win. The Bills need a lead back, if you can pick him up for a reasonable number, yes please.

With Bill O’Brien our of power, it’s going to be tough. -

I mean that the lack of respect for the Bills will drop them to the bottom of everyone if they lose a game, or worse if they lose 2. -

16-0 has happened. This might actually be a year that it happens again honestly. It takes incredible luck, but this season more than any in the past will be predicated on luck. Injuries are always a concern, with the lack of a preseason, more are bound to happen. Covid infections have already dropped one top QB out of a big game, it’s possible a good team like the Seahawks, who’s biggest rival is decimated with injuries or the Bills who look to have enough talent to score with anyone, catch all the breaks and go undefeated. I highly doubt it, but I wouldn’t rule it out. With the Chiefs losing one, the Titans (or Bills) will be knocked out of the ranks this week, it’s getting thin, but anything can happen! -

I think if they win the next 2 weeks there’s no denying they are the hottest team in the league. If they lose one or both, they won’t be in the top 10 😂 -
Not too many years ago I loved seeing AFC teams defeat NFC teams
DCofNC replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be great. If the Bills can go 6-0 with the Titans, Raiders and Chefs all in those wins, they are in GREAT shape for the playoffs, even with uncertainty left. That’s a big ole “IF”, but a man can dream. -
Dawkins looks good out there 😂, super Smoooooth, actually looked like he has hands though! I’m quickly realizing, almost nobody on this board has a sense of humor, at all..
-
Yeah, but if you project it out, he’s only on pace for 70% passing, 5,300 yards, 48TDs and 4ints, that’s hardly going to get it done.
-
Both seem totally reasonable. Thinking about it more, maybe we can pull off a trade to get Gilmore back, he wants to play for a winner, and then he can point at Hill as he runs by him and act like it’s the safeties fault.
-
Better for injuries that way and we don’t need to be tipping hands before the AFC Championship game anyway, I say we do it.
-
Slightly better, hoping he can take the next step.
-
I hope they are getting McKenzie ready to match up with Tyreek Hill lol, nobody on this D can stay with him.

we want Josh to win, no accuracy Element! Honestly though, I don’t think there is a bigger arm in the NFL (or probably anywhere) than Allen right now. Maholmes has a great arm, but he’s not as efficient as he could be and I think that limits him by like a yard or two in a max distance contest. Josh makes throws with the flick of a wrist that most NFL QBs need a solid base for. They are both absolutely next level athletes, but in an all out distance contest, I’ll bet on Allen. He’s ever so slightly more gifted in that regard. Both are amazing, Maholmes has obviously achieved a lot more thus far, but this could end up being a fun rivalry for years to come if the Bills can come out and put in a show next week.
