  1. Hopefully he gets in and looks great in the preseason, maybe we can flip him for a decent return on the back side of it all, if not, maybe it sets up got a comp pick, either way, I like this. Much more stylistically like the starter, means a better chance to win should Josh miss any time.
  2. That’s some serious hops. I know absolutely nothing about him, but sounds like an impressive athlete if nothing else.
  3. Look at Mack’s contract, it ABSOLUTELY, could fit for the Bills. With very little effort, they can make it work, the problem is for the Bears, they get killed with Dead Cap. I doubt they would take on the dead cap hit, but that said, maybe there is a deal in which they want the cash more than the cap, so they are willing to throw this year away, and a first round pick gets them in contention to get up to draft a QB they actually want. I’m guessing it’s going to take this year’s first and nexts, plus a little to make it happen, but who knows. The Bills could throw down and proclaim they are going for the championship this year with that move.
  4. No doubt, they are now the favorite to win the division.
  5. Honestly, I think their moves will pay off. They are going after the weakness of defenses in the league. Everyone has moved towards smaller/faster, so BB rolls out the power run game and creates match up problems when you go to a run stopping set up and they throw to the TEs. Same sets for multiple plays. Laugh now, but I think he’s going in the right direction.
  6. You insulted the golden boy, you’re doomed.
  7. Ok, here we go. First of all Fuller got suspended, not injury, so try again and he out produced Sanders in 11 games. Know your “public facts”. Sanders doesn’t hold a candle to Fuller in YPC or YPT, he’s fairly even with Samuel. He offers zero in terms of the running ability that Samuel brings and he’s 9 years older. The only argument you can make for signing him over either of them is Beane did it and I like him. You can argue that in 2020 he had Taysom Hill for a few games, but nobody is excited to claim Teddy Bridgewater as their guy either, so try again there. Either way, he’ll probably have a good season here, he’s going to a pass happy offense as a number 2 with a TRUE 1 opposite him, and one of the best on the league throwing him the ball, so you can self validate at the end of the year.
  8. There it is, in his 5th year he did something and it’s been 5 years since he’s broken 1000 yards. Now we have the Bills homers running in to show me that a 10 year vet outperformed a rookie who converted from RB to WR at the NFL level. Oh nooo. You have a speed guy who hasn’t put up jack in terms of YPC vs 2 guys who are just coming into their prime and comparing Fuller to him w Fuller out producing him in 11 games last year.. ohh super star status here. I hate this board, the ratio of rational people to complete Beane homers is 1: 900
  9. Pro Bowls? Really? You mean, “I know that guy’s name contests”? Oh and Blaine Gabbert just won a SB too, so I suppose he’s a better QB than Allen too, right?
  10. Has Josh Allen? Oh, so by your logic, Blaine Gabbert is better because he has a ring.
  11. Well statistically they have both out performed Sanders in virtually every way since they entered the league vs what he has done in the same time frame.. Dawson Knox has better hands than Agholor.
  12. Going to be sincerely pissed if Fuller or Samuel sign for similar money and we miss out for a 34yr old, never has been.
  13. Y’all will be back here saying “ I knew Brissett was a starter all along” by the end of the year.
  14. I don’t like this move.
  15. Best move of the offseason, IDGAF.
  16. That’s why the window is NOW. You have to strike while the QB is on the rookie deal. Either he gets you there or you bust, but right NOW is when you go for it.
  17. Better cost less than Smoke.
  18. Meh, for the one or two times a year that the booming punt is a huge advantage vs the much more likely scenario of wanting to pin a team, this seems fair. Punting average doesn’t mean ***** honestly, either you can play in the NFL or not, best punt to best punt might be 5 yards different, but positioning it is everything, Bojo was coming along in that, but if it’s a big money thing, I get it.
  19. I know where you are coming from on this, my disagreement comes in that a better back wouldn’t have stopped some negative plays. A guy with size to shed a blocker at a stand still like Henry does (or even Josh Allen does for that matter) or a guy who has that crazy wiggle like Shady, Hill, etc can all be valuable in those situations, often turning negative yards to something slightly positive or just even. That can be huge. You can watch instances where Brady drops back and sees it coming, literally just falls down, Allen never does that (sometimes he should), and he USUALLY makes something of it, even if it’s just avoiding a 5-7 yard loss. Shady used to be able to just flip his hips and the defender wound up on the ground, it was comical, other times he would do the dance and not go forward thing when there wasn’t a hole he liked, his weakness for sure. So to my point, if you stuck a top 10 type back in the backfield, I think the negative plays would go away (look at Gore, nothing there, always got something), and the bigger plays could happen as the game drives on, Henry DOMINATES late in games and in situations where the rush is coming and breaking one or two tackles leads to giant runs. Obviously, those guys are special, but the ones we have are not.
  20. Damn, that seems really reasonable for a top talent. Really not happy seeing him in the division, much less the Pats.
  21. Smokescreen! Make teams think you want him so little you won’t even tender him, then resign him cheaper. Pure brilliance.
  22. I’d be for sending DS and a 5th to Cleveland for him and if they want to unload Njoku too, even better, let’s make something work, maybe our 3rd for their 4th or something of the nature. They get a cheap compliment back, we get a starter, hopefully Moss is back at full strength as a solid back up.
  23. The front office isn’t blind. Singletary is not a threat to break anything, Moss got broke at the end of last year, so his explosiveness may not be there at all. The position needs an upgrade, they would not have spent another 3rd round pick on a back if they thought DS was the real deal. I think they did ok with Miss, but time will tell. That said, a real, quality, back is an upgrade. I expect a signing or another relatively high pick to be spent on a back field weapon. Not necessarily a pure RB, but somebody that puts D’s on edge a little. Be it Etienne, or somebody else, more speed, hands and ideally power are needed.
  24. So you just assume a 5’7” guy who jumps 1.5” higher than a guy who is 5’10”, has a better “catch radius”? Must be some common core math going on there. If Etienne is going to be used more as a hybrid player than a pure RB, I’m all for taking him. Playmakers are playmakers, I don’t really care how they get it done. Tyreek Hill isn’t a pure WR either, but he sure makes a lot of difference. If they see him a just a RB who can catch, meh, not going there.
