I’m going to say it again, something is off w Diggs right now, don’t know what, but he is not the same guy we saw last year. Oh and Davis is the best WR we have right now.
-
Diggs is off this year, I don’t know why, but the guy caught everything last year, battled hard, this year, specifically the last 3 games, he has looked awful. He’s not going after balls, he got hit in the arm on a perfect bomb, he didn’t even get his head around on the OT play that ended our chances. I don’t know what the deal is, but he’s not there this year.
-
Oliver has had the most impact of anybody on the DL this year, followed by some flash plays by Addison and Groot is playing very solid ball, doing a great job on containment and shedding, but his lack of pass rush moves is holding hime back. The sad part is, the line still gets zero pressure by itself, Brady had all day aside from blitz’s. Oliver has not lived up to his draft status and if McClappy is going to insist on rotating everyone, he’s never going to, so there’s no point in picking up his option, he’s nothing more than a rotational player, due in large part to his coach’s stupidity.

He never goes down hill, there was another play yesterday with a swing pass I believe, the receiver is wrapped up and he just needs to go finish the job. He runs over then stutter steps and goes in high, allowing more yards, a real LB would have leveled the guy and kept him in place or potentially knocked the ball loose. Had that been Poyer, they may have had to bring the cart out for the poor SOB, but not the amazing 6’ 5” 250lb butterfly we have, oh no, he had to flutter and manage to get hit by a guy who was stopped. He is an athlete, he’s not a football player. People need to realize the difference. Tom Brady is the classic example of a football player who is a below NFL average athlete, dude is the GOAT. Edmunds is one of the biggest freak athletes in the game, but one of the least valuable players on his own team. Beane already blew it and gave the guy 3x what he is worth, guaranteed for next year so we’ll watch this same ***** show again in 2022.

If you could ask McDermott a few questions...
DCofNC replied to Bermuda Triangle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds about right. I’d really like the opportunity to ask the players, mostly Allen, Diggs, Hyde, what they really think of this coaching staff. To me, the team looks like they see what we see and don’t want to do it anymore. -
At this very moment he is THE BEST WR on the team. Diggs is OFF, don’t know what the deal is, but he isn’t even tracking balls the last 2 games, Beasley is a good slot guy, but offers next to nothing in big play potential and Sanders hasn’t been a real threat. Davis has the size, speed and effort all going for him and he’s out performing everyone else when given the opportunity.
-
Dabs may be struggling, but Diggs has absolutely blown the last 2 games. Last week the ball hits him on the arm, in the end zone, don’t give me an excuse, the ball was literally perfect, this week, down the seem he doesn’t know where the ball is again as it drops in his pocket, then the fade, then having no clue the ball was coming again to screw our chances in OT. He’s either quit again or has something really really wrong with him. Right now he doesn’t belong in the field and the ball should be going to Davis.

Josh in a boot after Tampa game (now says he's "good to go", no effects)

Yeah, but didn’t you see all the pressure Basham was getting today? -

I hope Brady just comes out and says “ we knew the middle would be open all game, it has been my entire career, so we took advantage of the obvious and won.” -

Tell us all real quick, how many people remember the teams that don’t win the Super Bowl as winners. -

Softest team in the league top to bottom, only exception is Allen. -

I have been questioning that since the day he was hired, he proved he wasn’t long ago. -

What a ***** our coach is -
This team is very poorly constructed. If we are 100% honest, the team we had under Whaley was far better overall and would be dominant with Allen at QB. That team was winning with Tyrod at QB, look what Tyrod has done since. Plug Allen into that equation. If Allen had a strong Running game and a D that could stop the run, albeit struggled with covering the TE, would be scary to all the contenders. Right now, everyone knows the formula to beat the Bills and they aren’t good enough to stop it.

[Edit] The Obligatory Edmunds Thread (was: Edmunds name-only title)

You are the type of key board warrior I would love to embarrass in public, carry on with your evasion of facts and perpetuation (if you use Google, they can tell you what that means) of fallacy on the intelligence of your favorite team’s decisions. Certainly jocks are never impressed by others who are physically gifted, yet failures at their job; which would clearly explain why there has never been a first round bust, nor a Pro Bowler who was later figured out to be a mediocre player. If only I could site a Pro Bowler, Captain, physically gifted player in many aspects, who had wow plays, even called the plays for their team and still never was anything more than potential; oh wait, I can, Tyrod Taylor. Funny how it all lines up exactly the same, and when the Bills cut their losses they’ll be able to move on to a real difference maker, just like they did before. Or we can listen to Cledus Chandler and get more mediocrity, just like his name sake would indicate. -

Ok, I’ll type like a normal human being so everyone else sees just how stupid you really are. The 5th year option GUARANTEES you have to pay a player again. Which cost you $12.69MM next year, or you could slap either a transition tag on him, which as of 2021 was worth $12.7MM and gives you first right of refusal or you could put the franchise tag on him for $14.7MM. So you committed $12.69MM of cap space for a career underachiever, to save next to nothing. Now he has proved he’s not worth that and you are stuck, or you had the option to lock him down if he blew up with no risk, or work on a mid year contract for likely the same money if he was playing well. So you took all the risk, for next to zero reward and now you are stuck. Ignorance is bliss, but only for the ignorant, the rest of us still can’t stand you. -
Nah you would know who he is, he’s worth millions.

No, it was a stupid move because you could have tagged him if he finally showed up, instead you have a huge contract on the books for a replacement level player and you can’t do anything about it. You want to have 20 Million tied up in one position and have 2 players that both suck at 50% of the game? Klein is the better player overall, Edmunds is an absolute liability. -
Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
DCofNC replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like the players may be at the same point we are, just relate it to your own job, you know when you have a good manager/boss and when they are useless blowhards. They do not seem inspired at all this year, maybe it’s just feeding into the common theme here, but I don’t think the team wants it/believes they can, the way they did last year. -

The coaching staff should get the credit for the loss on this game, absolutely horrible in game calls. It’s like McClappy didn’t realize he could defer the ball in the 3rd and take the wind, ya know in a tight game where your kicker said he isn’t comfortable at more than an extra point going against the wind. Then the Challenge you had not shot on, then the time out to set up Moss running into the back of his “blockers”. Then he had the balls to call out guys he made inactive and put Breida back to return a kick after the guy had JUST fumbled and cost us points.. yeah he’s all over it. I wish there was any chance they would fire him. -
I’ve said it time and time again, they have Marv 2.0 in McClappy. That’s Marv Lewis, we are in for a decade of wasted players if we keep him.
