  1. Maybe it’s another restructuring, then trade lol, seems impossible, but if it was, I’d trade next years 1st and 3rd for him.
  2. Fair enough, if that’s the perspective you are working from, your argument holds water. I disagree with the assertion the Bills have less holes, but I believe the Bills have clear holes at DE, 1Tech DT, RG, LG, TE, RB1, CB2. My definition of a hole is a below league average at a position or an unproven player taking the starting role, ie rookie. For me, the Bills lack a LOT of talent at key positions, JA covered a lot of it last year, but when the heat got turned up, it became more obvious.
  3. So there’s a little question at corner, where the Bills starter opposite White is ???? I’ll go Dane Jackson, but that’s a wash at best. Until proven otherwise, the Bills have nobody that can match Clark and a bag of chips, so again, push at best. The Bills have 3 guys on the line who even stand a chance to start on a real team, I’d trade centers with KC in a heartbeat, so I guess we will agree to disagree on that one. literally everywhere else, KC is clearly better than Buffalo, the only possible argument being at S, and to Bills homers only at QB. I still love how people can say Maholmes had arguably the best season a QB has ever had, in his first year and backed it with MVP level play again, yet Allen is clearly the better play..
  4. Yeah? Where is the hole in KC? Please, enlighten usz
  5. Later in his career, with Philly, he really developed. If he had been that good of a QB with Atlanta, instead of just being an athlete, he would have gone down as an all time great, instead, he is what he is.
  6. Really? When please site an example of the Bills playing smash mouth football, that doesn’t involve Allen just taking off for a big run.
  7. Maybe I’m just cautious, but I don’t see this as an easy win, the Steelers, when healthy, are a hell of a defensive team and more than hold their own on O. It basically hinges on Ben and their D being back to full strength, but I wouldn’t write them off, especially early in the year.
  8. They just needed a camp arm and know Hoyer, nothing to see here. If Jones can prove to play pretty mistake free football in camp, I’d bet he gets the nod as starter, but there’s a chance they let Cam play a few games to start the year, see if that run heavy package will work. Boyer and Stindum or however you spell it are just waiting to be cut.
  9. I don’t think it will be at DE to be honest, I expect them to kick him inside and let him destroy from the middle, like most of his college success.
  10. It may no be these guys, but there are going to have to be a lot of cheap players on the roster to make room for the mega dollar contracts. My hope is Allen gets his and Edmunds gets his from another team. Apparently, loyalty runs too high in Buffalo at the moment, but we’ll see if Beaner allows it to be the death of the team or not.
  11. I said it the day he was drafted “glad the Bills dodged that bullet” and here we are today, the guy is just trying to get more than vet min. I never saw what anybody thought was going to make him good in the NFL, he was safety size with great speed for a LB, but no hips.. just as predicted, bust. Don’t mind him as a back of the roster type, but it’s days like this I’m glad I’m not a Jets fan.
  12. I hope he has a great season and can spark an NFL career.
  13. I mean, who ya really going to take out of that for Diggs and Beasley? I mean the argument can be made for the Vikes, but Jefferson had a rookie season bettter than any season Diggs ever had, until he got here. I guess you could argue the Rams too, but those guys are really damn good, so I don’t really see anything wrong with the list. All those teams have more physically dominating guys, which will always get more attention, it is what it is.
  14. I’ll make my judgement after I see if either/both of our DE picks work out.
  15. Oh I’m sure as heck not comparing the two, just saying speed doesn’t necessarily define success.
  16. I would disagree on not having zone type backs, Moss is actually perfect for that, he likes going north and south, more of a one cut and go type than anything. DS can run in pretty much anything, he’s just not fast, but neither was Terrell Davis and that worked out ok for him. Breida has to stay healthy before I even bother worrying about what he can do.
  17. All the more reason they needed to guarantee the inflated salary of Edmunds. That Beane, what a wizard.
  18. I absolutely hope it’s part of the plan, he should be worth a couple TDs. He should basically play the GIANT version of Lee Smith this year. I want him out there to destroy people as an eligible man. Think of him on the goal line or even in the red zone in general, have him peel off the line and go get some. His back ground suggests he can catch, his athleticism is literally the best we have ever seen at OT, it’s gotta be in the back of their minds. One of the playoff teams was running a lineman as a TE last year, didn’t end up doing anything against us. Maybe he can be in some power formations as the TE, just having him peel off and threaten it will open things up. Who knows, maybe this is how Beane plans to fix the running game.
  19. Ok, I’m not engaging in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
  20. 38 Points, 439 yards given up in the game that mattered.
  21. Yep, no chance anyone would question the Messiah. Forget the fact we could have used the transition tag on him next year at little cost difference, but why not guarantee $13M to a guy who isn’t a top 10 player at his position, when we have to give Allen a deal and you are already up against the cap? Why not keep the flexibility? Why take the risk? What happens if he goes out at pulls a Shazier or Eric Wood? Now, no matter what, you are paying him. It’s not a good decision and I don’t care how much I get flamed for it.
  22. Really? Let me just ask you, how much has Murphy’s contribution been since he was signed? Let’s take a look at Norman, how about the guaranteed money to sign our inactive 3rd-ish string running back or the 10M a year for a non-Star at 1 tech, maybe take a look at last years defensive disaster he managed to put out there, with all of his lineman he signed being so bad they were forced to take pay cuts or leave, this is the Messiah you are following? He signed exactly one starting player this offseason, a 34 year old “speed” receiver after releasing one, who could have been restructured for far less based on his new contract. Which, hey, let’s talk about 9M a year for Brown? How about that deal? Man, this guy is greatness defined.
  23. This has to be the weakest argument ever. I mean really, ever. If you want to go down this road, we got blown out in the AFC Championship game and had some of Beanes prize pigs on the inactive list, maybe if we had those huge contracts actually playing, we could have competed.
  24. Umm, it’s guaranteed, so yeah, you are paying it. My point is simple, you didn’t have to guarantee anything. The worst case scenario, you had tags to use next year.
