  1. Yes, but they can now tag him or sign him to an extension
  2. How they just gave those guys a free run off the line is beyond comprehension.
  3. They didn’t punt on their future, they gave up a 2nd and 3rd round pick, for a top 10 edge rusher, you weren’t getting that impact out of those draft slots.
  4. Chark and Gesecki would be great pick ups. Both have a lot of potential, Chark needs to stay healthy and Gesecki just needs looks, I would be thrilled to land either/both.
  5. Way to beat the odds Bills.
  6. The Bills have a game wrecker, they love to trot Edmunds out there every snap, no matter how stupid he looks out there.
  7. I don’t know why people keep making excuses for Diggs, yes he gets double sometimes, this “triple covered” is bull. If you honestly dedicated 3 defenders to one guy, you wouldn’t have anybody left for the rest of the 11 guys out there. The fact y’all lap it up like a kitten drinks from a saucer is sad. Get this one fact through your heads, Diggs does not scare defenses. He’s not resoundingly fast, he is small, he gets open with great route running. He’s a good, not great player. He’s a low end #1, he’s the best the Bills have, but that’s not saying much. Force feed him the ball and he’ll catch it. This forum over rates the WR position so much it’s comical. Aside from Diggs, you have a 30 year old slot receiver that’s never had a 1000 yard game. You have a washed up Smurf that hasn’t had 1000 yards in 6 years and only had 3 1k seasons in 11 seasons. McKenzie doesn’t even count. Then you have Davis who is the only size/speed combo on the active roster.
  8. “Only Maholmes”. Nah bro, just watched Allen do it 2 consecutive drives.. he’s an ass clown.
  9. The guy running away from the receiver on a crucial big gain? No no, he’s too good in coverage to lose. Looks even worse when they are on the same field. If I were him I’d be done. Real life is way more important than football or any job for that matter.
  10. No idea why they didn’t force a return there, would have burned at least one play off. Really poor game management
  11. How do you know what he actually does better than those guys?
  12. Done growing for sure, but body composition can change and weight can go up or down pretty easy. The guy looks solid, but almost everyone coming out of college can gain on strength with NFL trainers.
  13. That sucks, not sure if he was going to get to play Sunday or not, but he has been solid when he’s gotten a shot.
  14. You always have a shot when you have an elite QB. That said, Allen’s style of play does not lend itself to a Brady like career, more like a Big Ben, so I’m saying we have about 10 years of high level play left. The key is how long you can keep a team around guys like him. It can’t become any more Josh Allen and a bunch of guys in matching uniforms or he won’t be able to get it done. It will be a Rodgers situation. IF the D line can improved next season and you get Tre back, you have a shot for a couple more years. The cap will be going up enough to retain most of the key pieces and you have to draft well. We probably are seeing the last year for 2-3 guys who “start” or play a key role on the D line. They have to be replaced and the replacement will need to cost less than them. I expect Diggs to get a contract tweak to keep him happy, which means they have to think about Beasley possibly leaving. Sanders could come back in that slot role for less I would think. So that will free up some capital. They have to deal with Edmunds or his replacement soon too. There’s still a need for CB, and you need to re-up Hyde. Basically, it’s going to be a lot of shuffling of dollars to field almost the same team, the draft is going to have to fill holes quickly.
  15. Yeah, but I’d like to win, not prove that Edmunds is who we thought he was.
  16. I think it’s pretty fair to say you haven’t watched Watson if you don’t get the hype. He’s put up top 5 numbers with bottom 5 talent around him. He’s a special player, arguably enter than our own Josh Allen. That said, he’s pretty obviously a giant ####### and I would not want him as the face of my team. I also certainly don’t want him in our division.
  17. His drafting put him solidly in the hot seat from day 1. I have no problem with WHO he decided he wanted, but man did he over draft. If you were going to take the Dae nobody knew, move down.
  18. I would love to have Fitz back here. It’s obvious he isn’t taking JA’s job, there’s zero chance of it, he would be a true back up, if he’s cool with that reality at this point in his career, which one would think he would be, it would be great to have him here for the next couple years, assuming MT moves on.
  19. I don’t think that was a good move on his part, it only takes exposure to get the virus and regardless of its impact on your health, a positive test is a positive test, you’re sitting out. If I’m McClappy, he’s isolated until Saturday. It would suck to have your star WR out, but it would suck way more if he knocks other players out too.
  20. I don’t think Josh has a snowballs chance in hell of MVP this year with the statistical regression along with more losses, all of which can essentially be put in his lack of performance in the last minutes. That said, IDGAF about any of that. If we get the QB that’s been playing the last few weeks, through these playoffs, there’s a chance finally win the SB. To me, this week is the biggest hurdle. KC is still the AFC champ until de-throned, gotta go to their house and take it from them. The early season win means nothing now, their early season struggles mean nothing now, you have to go throw down in the playoffs and come out with the win. If they can get it done, I like the chances against either of the Bengals or the Titans. They should have curb stomped the Titans this season and the D couldn’t hold up, the Bengals are very good, but beatable for sure.
  21. Well in fairness, Allen was never going to get more accurate, was never going to see the whole field and would never be more than an athlete trying to play QB. That thought pattern failed. Jones may not pan out, but it’s too early to know.
  22. He’s made some progress, already looks better than 57 out there, not the bar is high there.
  23. This was a playoff game, not just a regular season game. That means the other team is a contender, they are fighting for their lives, and this particular team boasted a top 5 D all year. The Bills dismantled them like they were playing a high school team. That was epic. It might be the best offensive performance ever, forget about just the Bills.
  24. No, I’m not kidding, rolling with Peterman and Allen is/was one of the worst cases of roster management one could make. Tyrod wasn’t the answer, but he was/is a fringe starter and they went into the season with zero starting reps at the most crucial position in the game. Even McCarron had next to nothing, that was stupid.
  25. I think they’d find a backend player to move to the PS and then bench Basham.
