Let’s just see if he can make the team, lots of big legged punters haven’t made it. He drilled line drives, that’s not going to work in the NFL.

I suspect this is more it w him. Somebody is going to pay him a reasonable amount to be a plug and play corner, I’d love to see him added just before preseason. It would be great to have him in earlier, but guys literally retire to avoid all the training camp etc, I could see him trying to avoid it as long as he can. I’m shy to say anybody has “earned” that right with what these guys get paid, but he’s not a guy that needs a ton of coaching.

Diggs is not the game changer Hill is. If you single Diggs, he’ll get a catch. Single Hill and you worry he takes it to the house. Diggs is a really good player, Hill is a different level of game breaker. I would expect Allen to do comparable damage without Diggs, Hill changes the way teams play you. I think Hill will be sorely missed in KC. I do believe Pat will be fine, but that’s because he is one of the best in the biz.

Ben got plugged into the system Allen should have been put in, very little pressure on the QB to carry the team. To this day it’s all about Allen. With that said, it’s worked out, Allen has grown up FAST. At this point in their careers, Allen has become a better QB than Ben was at the same point. Ben lasted and did it for years, let’s hope JA does too.

The only Josh Allen Run That Needs to Go Away
DCofNC replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall
There should be zero called runs outside of the red zone. There’s no need for it. When it breaks down or if a team drops into a deep zone and the middle of the field is wide open, go get the yards. Using Josh as Mike Alstot has got to stop. -
It would be really smart of them to offer the to sell the season ticket holders the seats they sat in. It would make them a fortune. You are looking at like ~$50 in labor to remove and tag them. Sell them for $500 a seat. If I could have anything, I want a piece of the parking lot, that’s what made the joint special.

If you can’t get the basics, not sure how you are qualified to evaluate the complex, but you do you.

What you should be scared of is Davis’ 200 yard game being like Sammy’s on vs the Chiefs when he was here. A one time fluke that he can never repeat. Watkins certainly has/had more talent and could absolutely destroy D’s when he tried, Davis is basically the guy who was able to step up in one game thus far. He’s had some big catches, but he’s got a BIG jump to take from a #3 maybe 4 to a real number 2 in this league. Allen will help, but it’s no given the guy is going to make that leap. I know people hate me saying it, but this team is thin as far as proven weapons go. Right now, a guy who could only get a 1 year, 4M dollar deal is your most proven guy after Diggs, nobody else has ever done jack for the span of a season. For everyone that says Davis “came on strong” at the end of the year, realize the guy basically duplicated his rookie year, nothing more. I think he can step up, but will he? That’s a different thing.

I stop read the minute somebody gives Beane credit for White.

Glad he’s not the stadium designer, hopefully he uses that unique “vision” well on the field.

Wagner is still playing at All-Pro level and Edmunds never has. That’s as silly as saying Tom Brady wouldn’t be an upgrade for Daniel Jones because of age.

Josh Allen- A Glitch in the Matrix- Full Documentary

At least the Steelers are getting some revenue from their otherwise wasted first round pick. #lesserEJManuel2.0 -

Trevor Lawrence asked to be paid in Crypto currency
DCofNC replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Taxed twice and fees. Collect 10M get taxed 3.2M, buy 6.8M in crypto, pay 1% of that in fees and then get taxed on the sale. Or, be paid in crypto before tax, get taxed for it at EOY, hopefully the gains pay for some of the taxes. Kinda like stocks. Probably didn’t work out as well in this case. -
Well, obviously a lot of nothing here, but I gotta think Barkley is pretty much toast at this point, can’t stay healthy and when he has, he’s run like he’s afraid to get hurt.

Your argument is valid, but nobody else was able to do what Ruth did. Wilt Chamberlain, same.

It’s fun to feel like you are never out of it. Used to be third and 12 or more and you could go get another beer bc it was a punt upcoming. Now there’s no distance I believe they won’t get. Allen is an absolute super star.

Feeling like Bengals might be "Top Opponent" this year
DCofNC replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m going to be really interested to watch the Chiefs this year. Hill is a big loss, I don’t think people give him enough credit for their success. I don’t like the guy, but he’s an absolute game changer even if he doesn’t touch the ball. I wonder if we won’t see more “Bad Pat” this year as he gets frustrated. -
Simms Concludes his top 40 qb's. Allen top dog.
DCofNC replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh had carried every single one of his weapons” to their best seasons of their career, it’s not hard to see, Allen is carrying the roster around him. Aside from Diggs, there’s not a game changer on the O and even Diggs is more consistent than spectacular. If Davis was as great as we want him to be, how did The Ghost of Manny Sanders keep him on the bench? So far he’s looked to be an adequate #3 WR. I like him, I want him to be the 1B this year, but until you do something it’s nothing. Beasley never produced like he did here and he’s so good he’s unemployed right now. John Brown, what can we say about JB, other than the guy should never be your number 1 and JA made it work. He had people thinking the Bills hit the lotto with Robert Foster FCOL. Allen is the Bills, without him, this is a sub 500 team. MaHomies had the most explosive WR in the NFL and the Best TE in the game to work with, along with a bunch of other speedsters. Rodgers also carries his team, outside of Adams he’s had nothing to work with for years, but he does have a better running game than the Bills. I don’t often say this, but I think Simms is spot on. -
Morse has been average and got paid as the best C in the game, poor value there. Beasley was way over paid for as well, though I did love him on the team. If you take a look at all the FA signings, it’s a big list of misses in all honesty. Guys who didn’t make the team, had to take pay cuts to stay or couldn’t justify being paid what we signed them to as soon as it was possible to release them. Diggs you gave up a first round pick for in a WR rich draft class and have had to pay him as a top player, which he is, but you could have taken Jefferson right in the same spot and got the same production on a rookie deal for 5 years. The Diggs deal ended up working out pretty well for both teams, but the Vikes ultimately won that deal and there’s no real argument on that. I think if you are honest with yourself, you would recognize this team is not a great team without JA. JA has made Every single WR he played with have a career best year, he’s carried the team to wins. The rest of the guys they have added around him are not that great aside from Diggs. Cleveland has a more talented roster and has 2 QBs with massive deals on their books, PLUS has 30M in cap left. The Bills are ina good spot, but Beane has not been anywhere near as great as this board wants to believe. Allen covers up a LOT. Aside from Allen, you could argue he has yet to hit in another 1st or second round pick ( I have high hopes for Groot, but he’s proven nothing yet). All of them have underperformed their draft spot. He’s done pretty well in the 3rd round and down.
-
When you get the list narrowed down to Beane’s picks, we’ll talk. If that list of FA’s is good to you, I don’t think this is a conversation worth having to be honest.
