  1. Just remember, AAron Rodgers dropped deep into the first, Lamar Jackson was the last pick of the first, etc. these are first ballot HOF QBs that fell because people didn’t think they were the guy, the teams that picked them regret nothing. The same could be said of Jordan love. On the other hand the draft class which landed JA was considered one of the best ever at the time of the draft and the 3rd and 5th guys taken turned out great, the others average at best. So to say there isn’t a franchise QB in this draft is no sure thing. Dart looks like the best prospect to me, but I don’t know crap and can admit that.
  2. There is never a bad time to land a franchise QB, even if it’s only as trade bait.
  3. You take him, worked just fine for the Packers.
  4. I don’t know if I agree or not. He has been more of 1A, but it reminds me of Diggs w Theilen, where once he was THE guy, he became the Alpha dog. Will he be that? I don’t know and if he’s in SF again, he won’t be getting enough looks to show it again. Now either way you shape it, his contract is still good when you consider Higgins and Metcalf getting paid like they are and neither being any better than Ayiuk at any point. Either he’s getting paid as a low end one or high end 2, but either way, it’s a perfectly acceptable deal.
  5. I just learned the UFL was in existence. That was pretty cool.
  6. Reminder, his contract is very palatable for a #1 WR and even with the injury, still is considering the Diggs deal. Don’t discount somebody taking a swing. Doubtful it will be the Bills, but I would have taken that deal over Palmer.
  7. Yeah, call me nuts, but I just don’t have faith in him being healthy.
  8. I’d say it’s more of a hot take to expect Bosa to BE an impact. If he hits double digit sacks I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
  9. Were they really wrong about the Diggs situation? It cost the team 32M in cap space and a 3rd round pick to not be able to replace him. The team rallied, but they were woefully undermanned at WR.
  10. As it turns out, they did take a GREAT RB and only one of the QBs went on to be anything special and he was an absolute boom or bust prospect. I actually don’t hold the Barkley pick against them in retrospect. Jones? Yeah WTF!?
  11. This actually makes sense.
  12. Maybe I’m missing someone, but who is going to give up anything for Cousins unless there is an injury? Why sign Russ period?
  13. There ya go trying to use facts to make an argument, that kind of nonsense is a violation of board conduct! Seriously though, he had a pretty rocky year and the back half was flat out bad. Can he improve? Sure. Will he? Nobody can honestly say. Let’s see what happens, we’ll go from there.
  14. There has to be some meat added to the DL this offseason, the shift in the league is back towards running, can’t have Safties playing LB and not have somebody to eat blockers for them. The weakness of this D is where the league has decided to attack, so it’s time to really make a move against it.
  15. It’s because they pay two tackles, Knox and over pay the very mediocre WRs. The only guys on a rookie deal are Torrence and Kincaid and Cook ( for now).
