Gabe can stretch a defense, but doesn't have top end speed. He only has the 3 ball and that is not what we need right now. While he is certainly better than Sherfield I think we will see more of an effort to replace his production with Kinkaid, Shakir, and Knox. At which point I view it as addition by subtraction. All of those players are opposite of Gabe. Great post players, great 2 point shooters. They do well over the middle and within 10-15 yards. They often serve as check down or safety valve where Gabe is a home run guy. What Josh doesn't need right now is focusing on home runs. He needs to feel free to be him, but utilize players that force him into more methodical play styles. We die in the postseason when we can't connect first downs and stay on the field. Gabe isn't going to help you do either and in a high wind game to boot, his run blocking will be missed, but you aren't hitting a 3 pointer Sunday.

When a turnover occurs the drive score % is guaranteed to be zero and the other team has drive scoring opportunity of an unknown value. Will some of those value equal the same probability as a punt? Sure. Does that mean turnovers don't greatly impact the bottom line? No. The data is overwhelming. We actually do better than most team when we face turnover deficits but we are 30-26 since 2019 when we are even or worse and 32-2 when we are positive. Which is basically saying we have a 62% chance of being .500 as 62% of our games since 2019 end in 0 or worse turnover margins. The 32-2 record when we are positive is actually pretty stunning. The research on THC has not been focused on that. I know for a certainty it impacts skin tissue healing correctly. What about high concentrations of THC without CBD? In the last 13 games we have had 2 games decided by more than 7 points. Among those opponents, the Patriots twice, Broncos, Chargers, Giants. Yet somehow its become laughable that somebody suggests the Steelers give us a game? I don't think I have ever seen this level of delusional behavior from our fan base. This team has not shown they can blow anybody out. Skyler Thompson almost took us out last year for gods sake. We aren't safe against anybody.
