  1. I'm not sure if it's been done before but Astro should write a hit piece about McDermott for revenge.
  2. Broke Back vibes. Not that I know that vibe. All I do is eat meat and bench.
  3. Little known fact. You know all those random text message you get? "we need to catch up, it's been awhile" " are we still on for later" etc. They're building cold calling lists. When you respond they know you have an active mobile number. Never respond to these even if it's to screw with them.
  4. Not my style but certainly nothing like the anthem
  5. I read that and laughed "Sir, you can go F yourself...........Respectfully"
  6. It's obvious why WR should be a priority and it very well could make us better as a whole. But at the end of the day a few extra WR's aren't going to beat KC while a few additional defensive stops will. Von Miller is the only legitimate pass rusher we have had since what Lorex? Mario? We have gotten jaded over the failed experiments at DE. But that doesn't mean the strategy was wrong. This goes double if we want to retain McD forever which is very possible in my opinion. I don't think he is even touching a hot seat as so many others do.
  7. The Willie Parker game was a different type of depressing. Harrison was among those back ups as well. That 2004 year was a lot of fun up until that game.
  8. I was young fan at the time but old enough to cry my ass off. I can't help but takeaway how desperate we are to just get to one again. To me it adds even more weight to what they did. But agree 100%, especially regarding the coordinators. Marchibroda did some things post Buffalo, but I remember Walt Corey as a liability and after Marchibroda we never really had a contributor at OC. Marv was just outclassed as a tactician. Exceptional leader and great and keeping the ship steady but he wasn't an X's and O's guy. While very different people I see McD and Marv as being fairly similar in strengths and limitations.
  9. People will say wideout but Mahomes has looked beatable in the postseason with pressure. He's 2-2 in the postseason when sacked 4 times and 3-1 when sacked 3 times with several close games. Buffalo has 3 sacks against him in total. His rating is substantially worse in games defenses could get to him. It's frustrating to keep investing in the defense but it seems to be the only path. Ed Oliver is the only difference maker we have on the line and even Ed will disappear sometimes. It's just not enough.
  10. Everything you said is true. But he went to 4 straight which won't happen again. It takes a certain skill to keep a team in a mindset to get to 4 straight. Not the same skill it takes to win one. It's both an awful failure and incredible accomplishment.
  11. Also really enjoyed McGee. I don't think it's a stretch to say he has the greatest kickoff return in NFL history that didn't result in a TD. The end of that play was a microcosm of the era.
  12. I'm being manipulated by the media I don't follow and never trusted. Thanks for freeing me of from these mental chains. You're doing the lords work like Donald.
  13. The probability of hurting somebody while driving intoxicated is the exact same for somebody who hurts someone and somebody who doesn't. Yet the charges are completely different.
  14. The values of the MAGA movement have never been close to what democrats supported in the early 2000's. It's not like he's leaning away from the woke movement. He's inherited the entire conservative playbook.
  15. As you were saying, most Presidents when they finish don't really show up in the headlines. They're already historic. If fame is a driver, it has limitations. Which is why we see them quietly exit to rarely be heard from again. Trumps entire life has been building his image, and his brand of success. Staying relevant in the public eye is everything. He was a democrat in his late 50's. Do you think he just had a revelation that all of his views were wrong? That god was the way? That conservative values suddenly mattered so much to him that he had to fight to become president so he could save the people? Praise Jesus! Give me a break. I doubt you believe this. Maybe you do. Maybe he just found a really disenfranchised group of people to champion and the fact that none of it is actually real is fine because in the end it works for all involved.
  16. That's interesting. I don't hear a lot of breaking news from former Presidents.
  17. Fame, power, being remembered, most important, staying relevant. I'm sure he would trade several fortunes for that at this stage of his life.
  18. I don't think it's that simple. He says false statements so frequently it becomes impossible to keep up with. Not to say he's the only person in US history who has been dishonest in politics. I'm sure many are. But I have never recalled somebody at this level being so consistently dishonest in basic things. I'm not talking about things like saying Biden didn't win or bigger things the left likes to discuss. I'm talking about little interactions that happen in normal communication. I don't trust him. I don't believe his main focus or concern is for Americans. I think he uses the office of Presidency to fill a lifetime spent obsessed with money, fame, and power for himself often times at the expense of others. I don't think he cares about conservative values, religion, or the majority of the subjects his most vocal supporters agree with. It's all a vehicle to get him to the destination he wants. I don't need the left to tell me this stuff. To me it's rather obvious when you follow his life prior to being president up until the time he became president. I will also add that Biden is the last guy I want running this country. It's an absolute travesty these two candidates are the best people our political system can churn out. But whats probably even more shocking to me is that either of these people have bonified supporters.
  19. Wanted him in Buffalo in the draft. DUI's are so weird. Two guys do the exact same thing, one can go to prison for over a decade and one can get a slap on the wrist and it's basically a roll of the dice. I wonder if the penalty was more based on the decision to do it vs the outcome if more people would be hesitant to roll the dice.
  20. Pound for pound Winfield was the best open field tackler I’ve ever seen.
  21. He doesn't like tariffs. It makes sense now.
