Wow, that was for the cover ATS as well.

100%, that ball to Hollins was over the opposite shoulder. So he needed to be at absolute top speed, reverse shoulders, and nearly catch directly over him. Would have been an incredible catch. People don't understand you can't see above your helmet. It needs to be on the shoulder to track the damn thing. The ball to Coleman on the sidelines might be a result of a bad route but it wasn't there. He missed several others today as well. He did have a few drops yes. It went both ways as it usually does. It was one of his worst performances since his rookie year. Josh is looking physically beat to hell and it might be entering his brain at this point. He's still the entire franchise and then some but the lengths people will go to in order to never critique him is just bonkers. Not good that we have the Jets next week. They have made him see ghosts plenty of times before. A roll over opponent is really needed for some confidence.

Postseason is ALL that matters

He should have several years OTJ here to suck as much as possible. Get that learning in. -
Concerned that Joe Brady may have crashed back to reality.

We just need to bring in Chase and Jefferson and he will have what he needs -

Why are we hiring somebody that needs to learn on the job to the extent where we can use that to justify poor performance? He was a coordinator for the Panthers for two years as well. Just not an excuse. -

If that's all that matters we wouldn't still have McD -
Are we figured out already? The issues as I see them
Mikie2times replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady has not been successful as a coordinator at the NFL level and his success at the college level came with Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. This was enough for Sean to move forward with him. As many pointed out on this forum it looked like a control style hire. Brady would not oppose his style like a Daboll might. He was a controllable coach. It's not like Buffalo is this offensive factory of genius. All these guys came from the school of Josh Allen. The fact that we won't go outside the organization is why we are here and that is all on Sean. -

The biggest advancement Brady gave to this offense was in the screen game and run game. If Josh isn't going to run a lot, we need plays that will manufacture 3-6 yards and keep us on schedule. Teams are starting to target the screen game. Didn't work a lick vs Baltimore or Houston. It resulted in a ton of wasted plays and play behind the sticks. We got down in both games, and really, we aren't a power rushing team. The run is opened up more by our ability to throw and we can't threaten anybody in the air right now. The WR's just don't have that ability. No downfield threats either. Look at how Houston nearly imploded without Nico Collins. I like Keon, but we needed a downfield threat in the draft like Thomas or Worthy. Keon will be a good player but he's the type of WR that the old Carolina Panthers would have brought in the fold. The Funchess or Benjamin style WR and you need those guys, but they all can't be those guys. They need a Ted Ginn Jr or Steve Smith to make it work. Then last but not least or offensive line has regressed dramatically in pass protection. Allen was jittery today and playing faster than he needed to on several occasions. Hard to blame him when he's pressured like he has been the last two weeks. -
Easy game at a place we haven't won since 2021.

This is what the fans want. Look at how they reacted to the Tyler Dunn piece. How do you think they would react to a piece that is critical of Beane? If I was a betting man it will go full circle again. At some point this year fans will be talking about how we turned it around and Beane is a witch. We will likely win our division and get a bit of excitement for the postseason. Eventually we will exit, most likely in the divisional around, because we just aren't good enough to move any further. We don't have the talent and we don't have the coaching. This has been going on for years now. Our fan base needs to wake up. The Bills only support press that gives them layups and the fans keep eating it up. If you expect Terry to be the one that initiates change please have another. It will only happen when the fans demand it.

Dawson Knox: 3 receptions in 5 games. $8.5M salary.

4 years at 52 million. Is it the end of the world to sign some of our guys after the contract runs out? It helps us get a feel for market value and gives us more time to find out if they have a serious injury or if they still fit in future plans. Beane needs to look at waiting as an investment in more information. Instead he tries to sign everybody early so it's cheaper vs a higher cap but when you do that your risk becomes dead cap hit from decisions made with less information. -
How was Josh able to finish the game with a concussion?

He out kicked the coverage which we sort of needed him to do. If he doesn't they would be in field goal range. The punt in that spot was excellent. -

I don't think the decision to press in that spot is as black and white as people are saying. I can see why we pressed for the first down. Having said that, based on how the passing offense performed to that point, the running plays made more sense. If they get the ball back with anything under probably 12 seconds and the ball is complete in bounds it's OT. They become so limited without any time outs. -

This has been the case for a long time. Why can we never advance in the playoffs? Close games. It's inconceivable for me to think McD will captain us to 2-3 close wins against the best teams and coaches in the NFL. -
