It probably helped him being so long. Not much to think about on a kick like that.

11/3/24 Game 9 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Dolphins 1st Half Game Thread
Mikie2times replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The last three Miami games (including this one) 2 of 3 they led at halftime. Last game vs them we really didn’t play well on offense. Turnovers and off schedule Allen plays drove the lopsided result. The game script so far is not surprising TBH. -

Josh was very fortunate on that play -
By most accounts he is a very good guy. But certainly not hard to hate the football player.

Cook/Shakir/Oliver/Benford vs Hall/Wilson/Williams/Gardner

I would take Cook over Hall but past that the 3 Jets players rightfully get more credit. -
TNF. Jets Texans. Who do we want to win tonight?

Look at who they beat outside of us. Offense is not getting it done. Mostly been from the defense -

Betting is so funny to me. Literally everything goes your way or nothing does. It will swing for weeks like this. Time left for the Jets to F it up but what a break if you have the Jets spread. -

People, the shin has always been equal to a player being down. It's not a new rule. You usually only see it applied on determining if a runner is down. Not if he is inbounds. But it can be used that way as well. -

Shin has always been two feet. You're down if your shin touches. -

Stroud performs worse on the road. Worse in open air. Texans are 2-3 on the road with those wins vs New England and the Colts (by 2 points). They have 5 wins by 18 points total vs many lackluster teams. Now Diggs is out on top of the other injuries. It's getting excessive. Houston and the Jets both have serious protection issues. This is actually a very even match up with the Jets at home but the bottom line is whenever I see a game with a 2-6 team favored over a 6-2 team and that 6-2 team is getting hammered by the public I either stay away all together or hammer the opposite team. I'm hesitant to agree with the theory of "trap games" as to me a "trap game" can be recognized in data usually. They tend to be more situation in which perception just doesn't align with what is happening. That is the case in this spot. The spread isn't off, but it sure appears that way. Usually those are good spots to go opposite of the "sure thing". I'll take the Jets all day here. Under is live as well. -
Wow, he's been here forever. Sad to hear.

I mean you guys had 20+ years of elite coaching/recruiting stability. Even Lincoln Riley who has some mixed reviews is a hell of a recruiter and has solid programs year in and year out. Now you hired a turd. On top of that needing to rebuild vs the SEC. Plenty of storied programs in coaching hell for a very long time. I hope that isn't your fate.

The next 6 games will be interesting.

That Detroit game is going to be very difficult for us. They have the DNA to play very similar as Baltimore and just push us around. I can also assure you they did not forget about the Win we had there a few years ago. It's a proud team and many of those players are the same. Look what they did to make up for the Dallas game this year. They want to put everybody on notice but most of all the good teams. A win in that spot would be equal to a win vs KC perhaps even greater as it relates to regular season accomplishments for this year. -
I have no idea why a guy who couldn't play QB in college could also not play QB in the Pro's.

Buckets is one cold blooded SOB

What if said you could have a WR who is elite in all of the below? Would you think twice about adding such a player? Size Athletic ability Vertical Foot Speed Hands Physicality Work Ethic I wanted Coleman since January. It's exciting to see him grow.

We are 13-17 in games decided by 7 points or less since 2021, including the playoffs. We are 0-3 after the wild card round since that time and the guy you point out at 2-4 has made it further than we have to the AFC championship game. I experienced the early 90's. I won't hang my hat on the Bills leading the NFL in win% for the decade. Nobody cares or remembers.

Fair enough, it just seemed like that was sort of an independent thought vs a response to what I said. Somebody else said the NFL can't have immobile QB's anymore to which I responded that it still could. What is causing Rogers issue is much likely bigger than just bad offensive line play. I'm sure the physical decline is playing a fairly large role.
-
what's your point?
-
Cousins, Stafford, Goff are all Rogers like with scramble ability. Now what you really cant do is focus all your efforts on WR's and neglect OL. Which is what they did. Mind you Zack Wilson was mobile. So I'm not sure they got a taste of how bad that offensive line really was.

You don't see a gap between winning a playoff game after the wild card round and going for 3 consecutive Super Bowls? If anybody is questioning our ability to mop the floor with wild card or lower teams they really should get checked out by a medical professional. Further, if anybody thinks beating these teams means anything toward our ability to getting it done in the playoffs you should go see the same doctor.
