  1. If something did actually happen I'm guessing the girl might have fell on accident. Perhaps the parents neglected the child which contributed to the fall. Perhaps the parents made up a ridiculous story to cover for themselves.
  2. Lions are not beating Philly. The wrong team is favored in the NFC. I called this out in the Thanksgiving game thread but the Lions have a Bills like quality as far as losing in impossible fashion. Call it the great lakes curse, they won't ultimately get it done this year. I like the Chiefs and Bills in the AFC. I would include the Ravens, but I just don't see them making it past KC and the Steelers. Pittsburgh has Lamar's number and KC is just too clutch vs Baltimore's anti clutch. Put up or shut up time for us. McD and our performance are a great story but I will forever hold out full porn mode until we show it in the postseason.
  3. Here you go. I like using a winning% filter to get rid of some noise from blowouts. Also filtered from week 9 on as I like more recent data. Use the web site below, one of my favorites for sure. https://rbsdm.com/stats/stats/
  4. NFC: Eagles, Lions, Packers AFC: Bills, Ravens, Chiefs Thinking this is the group who makes up the Championship teams. Could the Texans, Cardinals, Vikings, Steelers, or Broncos really screw some stuff up? Sure. It's a pretty deep group this year. But I like these 6 for bigger things.
  5. AJ Brown said he was the best player in the NFL. To say he isn't bringing value at a rate like Brown or Smith, who have barely been healthy this year, sort of renders your post just a bit outside. Jordan Mailata? Can we at least have some precedent with the position? If he breaks a record that’s linked to the greatest players in NFL history, the rest doesn’t matter that much.
  6. Yup, and while this is a QB league, the history of the NFL is a little more obsessed with the 2000 number than passing accolades. RB’s are pretty entrenched in league history. It would be a big deal.
  7. If he breaks the rushing record and his single game average is above Dickerson he will likely win it in my opinion. He’s had enough “Hesiman” moments between his backward jump and Sunday night game vs the Rams. Josh could possibly upend that projection with a huge game vs the Lions (but a poor showing could also set him back). While all of what you’re saying is true, Barkley is a next level RB. He’s the best in the league at his position. He’s certainly in the conversation for the type of year he is having.
  8. Agree, not sure if that’s how voters will look at it but they should.
  9. That would be a dream as the Steelers have been Lamar’s biggest challenge historically
  10. The rushing record is a historic record and Barkley is having a historic season. Dickerson finished 2nd in votes and Peterson won it in 2012 as the last RB to win the award. His talent is indisputable. He’s the only one that should still be in the race with Allen and this point and if he does get the record it’s 50/50.
  11. If he did set that record does he deserve it more than Allen?
  12. Day isn’t going anywhere
  13. Our defensive line was 5 yards off the ball
  14. Why wouldn’t it be? We are a finesse team. We depend on our team speed on defense.
  15. Important, but OSU just can’t move the ball at all
  16. This the end of Day if they lose?
  17. Watching the state of Ohio
  18. If we play them will it be close? If it’s close do they tend to perform well? Does it matter how they’re are playing at this point when the above is basically the floor of how bad they can get?
  19. That is pretty cool. I don’t think any of these guys responded
  20. I mean, most people ARE calling them a fraudulent team. This thread is about getting on the KC is fraudulent bandwagon comparing them to a team that was blown out in the wild card round last year. Do you not recall this exact same narrative playing out with the Patriots multiple times or even the Chiefs last year? Now hopefully it goes nowhere near that direction but wow, you would think people would show a degree of restraint and historical perspective. Actually, never mind. Why would I think that. 🤣 it’s a warm place where logical things reside. The entire board saying they’re fraudulent. We just got done playing a rock fight game with them? See where this is really confusing? If we catch them in the playoffs it should be another battle as usual.
  21. People that think we will just roll them or they aren’t a threat are in far greater denial. I’m not sure what to make of all this to be honest. After that win many looked at us like it was a sign we were the best in football. Yet on the other hand the Chiefs suck? Now I’m reading a lot of these big takes that the Chiefs will be rollovers. This after us converting a 4th down play that likely swings the game the other way if we don’t get it. I really can’t make sense out of the contradictions at this point.
  22. Your warning was too late.
  23. Or we should just expect a competitive game? Because Josh scored that late touchdown? Sure. It still required exactly what I said needed to happen no? Bet you said this stuff about the Patriots as well.
  24. I would think this way with other teams but not them, nor the Pats during the run they had. Look at like this. Will we be in a one score game if we play them in the playoffs? I don't know anybody could argue against that. Now hypothetically say they really passed the eye test these last few weeks. Would you still think it will be a one score game? Sure. Nearly all of them have with the exception of some late scores. Bottom line, we will likely find ourselves in a very similar situation if we face them in the playoffs as we did in the most recent match up. Even if we are better, we will need to execute on what is likely our last drive to kill the clock or go up two scores. Anything less than that and it's unlikely we win (or anybody for that matter).
