The Chiefs actually lined up this way but they weren't able to execute it. I half way joked about rug pulling the line and getting a personnel foul, but I actually think those concept have some merit. Whatever you do you need to figure out how to introduce some doubt or some new variable into the Eagles. It could be a combination of several things. Maybe on the first attempt you "accidentally" jump offside and drill Kelsey and Hurts. Then maybe on the 2nd attempt you take a quick back step and rug pull them. Then maybe you incorporate the sideways cut against the center and guard. Whatever you do I think you want to get Philadelphia thinking twice that they can just go low and drive. Get them thinking about making some business decisions. Don't make it easy.

Pittsburgh is actually ranked 10th in weighted DVOA. So while they have had plenty of luck early in the year, that ranking will usually be enough to get you in as a legit playoff team. Stroud and Houston rank 12th in weighted DVOA. The INT monster finally got him last week. You have to figure at some point he will cool down. All three of these teams have cake schedules. But we don't need a ton of help. The normal NFL variance should be enough as long we take care of business.

If they want to pull that on the 1 yard line it would be worth of few personal fouls. Just sayin.

As much as it annoys me when people cover for Josh by saying all offenses suck this year, no question. You don’t see that dominant squad. This drive would have been a guaranteed 6 in years past. Now it’s less than 50% in my opinion

My biggest takeaway is we need to rush with discipline against both these guys which is something we usually suck at.

I don’t like the play because it takes excitement out of the game. It surprises me the NFL would keep allowing it given they usually will air on the side of entertainment value.

Yup and really, I don’t know why he would catch on as a back up. Very few people are given this much time to develop and I don’t know if he’s a really studious type or guy who will go out of his way to help whoever is playing or coming up. We will see.

What is always impressive about KC is they can seemingly turn on the run game on offense and run defense at will. Every year they suck in both areas and every big game they don't.

What's even crazier to me... Imagine if we said in the offseason that AJE would break out. Bernard would perform as well as Edmunds or better. Benford would turn into a solid starter. Shakir would develop as a slot. Cook would be top 3 in the NFL in rushing. Kincaid would be one of our leading receivers. O'Cyrus would perform above the level of a rookie. Ed would play at an All Pro level. How on earth would that not equal Super Bowl level trajectory for the team? Yet, here we are. Next few weeks could get really interesting if we can build off the Jets game.
