I don’t think Dungy is a bad coach. So I will walk that back. McD is also not a bad coach. But what we are experiencing right now, this good enough to hang in but not good enough to win in the playoffs. I’m not sure that is better than a complete train wreck. It’s like staying married to the wrong person for a decade vs a complete disaster. Things might have been nice at times over that 10 years but that’s exactly the issue. It leaves you always hoping it could be better and ends up being much more costly than if she was just a psycho nut job. Your mom loves her your dad hates her. You’re happy sometimes, miserable most. You get stuck in conflict half their time and the next thing you know you’re 50 pounds overweight, you can barely see your Johnson and a decade is lost. With the psycho, it’s done and you move on. I can’t give credit to McD for being this type of coach. If anything, that is exactly why I want him gone.

It took legendary coach Jim Caldwell his first year to go to a Super Bowl with the same Colts team. His first year he left Tampa they win a Super Bowl. He has a career 9-10 record in the postseason. Lucked his way into one Super Bowl against one of the weakest Super Bowl opponents in NFL history after a 21-3 comeback in the AFC championship by what I presume wasn't his defense. Dungy is McDermott. Hell, they basically run the same defense, they're the same person. If that is what your vision of success looks like, no thanks.

If this is the argument, I think the distance as far as how much Chad needed to move to center could very well be the same for Sean. The combination of the two likely provided balance. Any way you slice this Chad seemed to be one of our better young coaches and he’s no longer on the team. He was with us since 2017 and left to take a lateral role with the Jaguars. The story and the way it is portrayed seems very likely to be true. At the very least, I would expect a guy with the right temperament to handle this behind closed doors if he had a problem. Not in such a way where this impression could be left behind.

An entire position group decides to buy a WR coach who probably makes less than most directors a present, because he's awesome, and instead of being proud of that coach or expressing behind closed doors a potential conflict, we can just justify him raining hell down for the day and being a complete prick to that coach as well as others. Bra.....off the hill on this one.

NFL Maps and Broadcast Schedule: Week 14 2023 (December 10)

It means I have to go to the bar and if I accidently have 8 drinks it's not my fault. -
Ya, I remember hearing that a couple years ago. I also listened to Frank in my 20's. I wasn't really speaking about Josh originally. If we wanted an example of a guy that can easily relate to others he's it. It's who he is. He probably does it so well he has a difficult time being the type of alpha leader many want. I feel as if McD is the opposite. He's doesn't relate to people the best and he's probably a bit of a prick. Beliichick is basically the same type of person in my view. So that alone doesn't mean everything.

At least SD has amazing weather because it's about the only place in the US that is not showing this game. -
He rained praise down on Beane in the interview with Cowherd. He said a ton of things many of us are thinking but nobody in the Bills news circle would dare consider talking about. You can point to all these reasons he had to lie but at the end of the day nobody has disputed anything in the article. Beane didn't dispute any of it. If anything he gave it validity. So people out there do feel this way about Sean. As I'm sure some feel warm and fuzzy about him and I'm pretty sure we have read about 2,000 warm and fuzzy articles. If people want to call it a hit piece so be it. It seems like he's representing a different side to the story that any reporter close to the Bills circle would not be able to write if they want to maintain access.

8th late-game defensive meltdown this season

What about 23 points in the 4th quarter and OT? -
I'm stuck on this notion of those that want him to have next year as well. So what exactly would we need to do next year? (assuming this year is either no playoffs or early exit). It's getting to the point where it's Super Bowl or he's out and I don't want to get to that point. That seems like us openly being ok with wasting time and I'm not ok with that. You thoughts on the article are spot on. I just don't agree with that. Never would happen. If anything this would make most people dig in.
