Brady just scripted me a play
-
That exact situation? More likely to take the two score lead. But ya, we have. It doesn't change my outlook. He has nothing to be afraid of or worried about or uptight about anymore. The worst of everything true or not was in that article and I think it might set him free.

I joked that the article might change McD but I wasn’t joking
-
He was literally considered an 3rd down specialist and we never used him in the passing game
-
It is incredible how much of an edge we get using the RB in the passing game. His draft profile was basically as a 3rd down back and it took Brady to design plays for him.

I’m streaming BuffStreams and it’s as good a feed as I’ve ever seen

Damn, hitting your head is no joke

Dunne probably should not have included some of the more edgy character focused sections. It's allowed people to have an easier path to discredit the entire thing. Is he the coach to lead us to a Super Bowl or not? Dunne lays out probably the most well documented reasons of any article or thread or column we have seen to date. You don't need the character angle to muddy that up as people will isolate small pieces to discredit larger conclusions. At the end of the day we have a large group of fans that view his regular season success and our turnaround as justification to give him longer. Perhaps several more years. I don't know when it will be ok for them. Then you have another group that has shifted to postseason success and the window with Allen. Both those groups are really entrenched at this point and I don't see a whole lot changing that. By including the character angle he incited the one group when I think his intent was to convert more people to the other one. Sort of, see, he really is that bad. But that other groups won't bend after 13 seconds, playoff blowouts, horrible records in close games. They were never going to change based on some comments about 9/11 or Chad Hall and if anything this article likely divided the two groups more. Awesome

Not to mention, motivations are odd at times with coaches. You actually play for your teammates more than a coach. I remember the team that always played the hardest in my life had the biggest SOB on earth as a coach. But even then, that coach understood a group united in hate is still united. I think he wanted it that way. Can’t treat these men like that but they play for each other and themselves more than anything

We have the worst record in the NFL with a lead under 2 minutes. We are 0-6 in our last 6 OT games. We can’t win a game decided by 7 points or less. Sure I want the playoffs. But just getting in is not success nor do they get to say that is just because they completely screwed the first half of the year. Do something to change the tide on the first 3 stats. Make a deep run and don’t lose on a choke job or blow out. Then maybe we can talk about success.

And last week and the Eagles game was the biggest game of the year before this. Than the Bengals. Than the Dolphins. He said he accelerated it after the Eagles game because it fit the narrative of the story and we had a bye week on top of it which allowed more time to finalize the story. That seems pretty logical.

Bengals went to a Super Bowl already. They started the season with Burrow hurt. That is why they had the record they did. They beat us and the 49ers and ripped off a ton of wins before he got hurt again. Vikings? You’re kidding right? They had nearly a league record in win% in games decided by one score. Everybody had them regressing this year but you apparently.

We have been underperforming against DVOA for awhile now. Go figure.

Debatable given who we played. But fair enough. So you think Frazier just “needed some time off” or did he feel like he’s was worried he was going to get scapegoated? If you had to guess? Knowing that he still has a desire to be a coach and left on his own? Do you think the article describes a guy that would freely give up defensive play call duties or one that would want to maintain control over them even if it wasn’t for the best?
-
Why did Chad Hall take a lateral move? Why did Leslie Frazier step down? Its not like this article is without smoke surrounding it. It seems pretty obvious to me at this point Frazier knew what was going to happen if he stayed and he just beat them to the punch and in hindsight yes, that would appear like McD passing the buck as his defense has regressed since his departure.

Get ready for the College Super League!

I wonder if the article was enough to make him actually change. Like he should have after 13 seconds. He’s basically dead if he doesn’t at this point. What does he have to lose.
