He's accomplished the same with Ryan Tannehill and has consistently given the Bills problems. I don't know how you could put him signifgantly behind him.

2023 Playoff Bills better than the 2021 Bills?
Mikie2times replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are 6th in DVOA right now. We have never outperformed our DVOA in the McD era. This is the worst DVOA rank we have had since 2019. Since week 10, we are a top 5 offense and league average defense in EPA and it's fairly similar of late. We really don't show some of the foundational stats that would tell me we are better than years past or that we are in the top couple teams in the league. Having said that clearly we are a dangerous team. We can get really hot and in general the league doesn't have any truly great teams this year. So it is intriguing what could potentially happen if we get in. -
We can get a Christmas present if the Jets win.

Yup, that’s great and all that they might lose some of those games, but two of the three are against other contenders

The two teams I didn’t want to see muddy this up were probably Denver and the Bengals

One of the all time plays as a Bills fan. Special moment.

NFL will look at the fumble-out-of-end-zone rule

I was dying over this. Enjoyed the story. I tried to explain the game a bit to my girl. She’s not born here, which made it really interesting. Why are those women dancing in short skirts? (Guys next to us start yelling suck my ___ ). I’m thinking this is going to be a long one. Ear muffs beautiful, those men say bad things. So anyway, they usually punt it on 4th down or kick it. Well, usually, except when they’re inside the 40 like they’re now and it’s really close. Oh big play! What a catch! This is why it’s such a cool sport! What is that yellow thing Michael? It’s a penalty. Damn it. Why is it a penalty? He hit the QB too hard. The QB? The passer guy. I thought they were supposed to hit him. They’re. It’s weird. The funniest I just give up moment occurred after a fumble scrum. She really had no idea what was even happening. Players were jumping on the pile. Ripping people off the pile. Jumping around like it was WWF pointing in each direction. Then a man runs out of the pile screaming with the ball and everybody yells and swears. -
Exactly, we are really splitting hairs here. You can listen to his presser. I'm sure he's pissed at the Bills. But I'm also pretty sure he knows they had no choice and he's pissed at what kind of society allows that to happen. I can't imagine dealing with something like this as an adult, let alone a kid, especially at the stakes he was playing.

Correct. I was just commenting on that Tampa thing how low his average depth of target was. So I was pondering if he could be a good fit to be featured in our horrible WR screen game because in that Tampa game he was rather good at it, but agree, I think Tampa plays off and mostly zone. It was probably more Bowles alignment than Davis excelling in that area.

Gabe Davis- Do you want him back and for how much $

I voted no, because while I wish he could be a 4 to 5 with us, he never will be. We will give him starter reps. Defer the real problem another year. I don't want him on the roster because it forces us to invest in viable options at the position. -
Sort of interesting how well he did the one time we featured him in screens and with a low ADOT (TB). To your point, I don't know if that means we should change anything as far as trying to get him the ball in those screens. Just interesting. I never was arguing for more?

The main thing it tells me is when targeted he isn't converting a lot of those targets into catches. Which could be because most of his targets are downfield. Which again, indicates his route tree being more of a impactor to his catch% than his hands. For me, I would rather see Gabe as a 4 or 5 WR. With his route tree, he actually fits that mold rather well but I don't believe that would ever happen with us and fear if we did retain him we would still utilize him more in the passing game than a 4 or 5 based on familiarity and the rest our WR core sucking. The fact that we can't get Gabe going is an issue, but it was always going to be an issue. We can't afford to build an offense around getting a guy with 3-4 routes going. He's also our best blocking WR so it's not optimal to try his hand on screens (although he is physical and in some ways it was actually nice seeing a little of that vs Tampa). The fact that Diggs is performing about as bad as he has in his Buffalo career the last 3 games is a problem. A really big problem given how limited our options are. I hope he can get it figured out or heal or correct whatever the driver is. His performance has been bad and you can see it, but it's all over his advanced stats as well.

Having unprotected sex in college while intoxicated is like the goal of half the college population. That is the only thing he did. I would say that makes him a pretty normal 18-20 something. He didn't know she was a minor and probably assumed she had a right to not have unprotected sex if she didn't want to.
-
And what does that 36% tell you? I’m curious how you interpret that number.
-
Actual data that shows how bad Diggs is playing? What would you like me to do?
-
It is frustrating to see how many people look at catch% and have literally no clue how that stat works. Then they think because that % is low it must mean Gabe has bad hands. I literally want to slam my head into a concrete wall with the number of posters who reference this. Having said that his catch% is a by product of deeper routes and deeper routes are a by product of his poor route tree which is the actual problem with Gabe. His hands, while not perfect, are not even close to as big an issue as how limited he is with his route structure. If all this was already discussed my bad.

Diggs has only had 7 games in a Buffalo uniform with a drop% above 15%. Drop% is just drops/targets. He has been at 15%+ 2 of the last 3 weeks. Including his highest rate of 25% against the Jets. Allen rating when throwing to Diggs the last 3 weeks has been 44.9, 57.8, 68. This gives Allen 2 of his worst 4 ratings throwing to Diggs, and 3 of his worst 9 in just the last 3 games. This, over Diggs career with Buffalo.

I always thought Wayne was a good feminine name. Him her he she has point about you it. -
You can see so clearly on this tighter film what he does well and doesn't do well. Long, powerful, great release, sneaky fast with a long stride. Poor acceleration, agility, sloppy footwork, route running. I'm not joking, but it would have probably been in his best interest to add 25 pounds and play TE. His skills are TE skills. That's not insulating the man. If anything we would be saying he's an athletic freak at TE. But at WR he's just not twitchy enough.
