  1. Tampa can beat them Rams can beat them, and Seahawks did beat them.
  2. If you recall we barely threw to the WR's vs KC. Then we had the Dallas game where we barely threw a pass. Last week the Charger game in which Gabe DID have a pretty big day. Then just today. It's a bit crazy to think, our entire unit is at 107 yard average the last 4 games. That is less than what Steph got used to pulling in alone. Can it work with this level of production? I don't think we can keep expecting to manufacture points like this. What is happening anyway? Yes, easy to say the WR's suck, but isn't it basically the same unit as last year, likely even slightly better? The line did not play well today, but isn't that unit better than last year by a good margin? Any thought on if you think this is a rut or perhaps something bigger is occurring?
  3. The Eagles will be bounced in the first round
  4. When I started this thread I felt like McD would be rolling with him next year. I still feel that is likely.
  5. I’m just talking about the situation
  6. Welp, this would qualify as a defensive save. We have been about 40% over Hr McD era
  7. Douglas is leading the Bills in receptions, yards, and TD’s 😂
  8. Love AJ this year
  9. Just getting over Covid but about to grab the bottle with how this is going
  10. I think by the end of this game Sunday ticket will cost a pack of gum for the rest of the season
  11. He has been elite
  12. Rasul, hold my beer
  13. We will settle down, but let’s not pretend this isn’t who we are. We have gone for quarter length stretches in so many games this year where we can’t get a first down. It’s not new.
  14. What I was thinking. This is sort of a stinky deal. Sure, it seems the refs made a mistake. They also announced the mistake they made before the ball was snapped. The Lions most certainly heard it but as you said, no time outs. It would have been nice for somebody from the Lions or Cowboys to have commented on this specific aspect. Detroit handled it post game reasonably well. It's not like they just torched the earth. But they did make it seem like they had no awareness that confusion could have occurred pre play. They could have taken the penalty and kicked.
  15. 100%. It's a game with a lot of volatility in play to play outcomes and if played long enough you will see things you might only see one time in thousands of plays and you will see them when it doesn't matter and when it does.
  16. It looked like he was going to just check on the lineman, perhaps even to make sure he reported. It got the refs eyes. Then the ref just made a human mistake and mixed the two up. Humans do make mistakes like that but you really hope they would sort that out. Not throw a flag after the play concludes. I mean the ref had to feel a little unsure in that moment. A little in doubt. If they just walk away at that moment the worst that uncertainty can bring is the natural result of the play. Really bad. Just brutal loss.
  17. That call reminded me of a poker player on tilt.
  18. I would be so pissed off I was a Lions fan. We talk about bad calls a lot, but not unreviewable calls that determine the outcome of a game that are against the natural outcome. Holy *****. The last one this bad was probably Fail Mary.
  19. Now it looks like the ref improperly noted the player who reported as 70 and not 68. The Ref looks like he messed this up. WOW. Brutal.
  20. Well, nobody can actually speak to what somebody else said. But this part of it is pretty black and white.
  21. Covered- Ineligible 8 , the WR is covering the LT "8" which makes him ineligible X 8XOXX X X X X X Not Covered (What the Lions did) with 7 men on the LOS means the LT "8" is now eligible. Since he did not report as such it was an illegal formation. 8XOXX X X X X X X
  22. He was saying you could call either penalty. But both penalties are a result of him not reporting. When he wasn't covered by the WR he became eligible but he never reported so he couldn't be eligible. So had he done so it would have made him eligible and the formation legal. They're explaining exactly what I said earlier right now.
  23. He would have only been ineligible because he didn't report. Had he reported it would have made the play clean.
  24. In the replay you see the two Lineman far away from the play walking to the ref. They were clearly reporting. The ref then starts to walk away toward the line of scrimmage right when the OT ran up with the rest of the players. He couldn't have spoke to him. It looked like the player assumed he was good. Perhaps by the other players interactions but I think YOU have to be the one to report. Not somebody on your behalf.
