There was never a time the ball wasn’t pinned against his body, but it did rotate. Personally, I think that should be a catch in that case, but I’m sure the rules say otherwise.
Not a stat that means much, Hamlin leads the team with 5 and Hamlin isn’t even average. Hamlin has two interceptions which you think would be good, but both were because he was out of position arriving late to the play.
Absolutely, this played a big part in both losses. Forcing this offense to continuously throw from 3rd and long with the plays Brady was calling was a recipe for disaster. Later in the game he became more creative and used more motion and PA. Still too many first down runs.
