We’ve been chasing a dominant defensive line for all of McD’s time here. Not having one has been our greatest downfall.

Honestly who knows where we would be? Whoever else we drafted could have been injured, could possibly not be ready or not that good, could be the second coming of Jerry Rice. Hindsight is easy. I myself was hoping for a second receiver to be drafted, but I know it may or may not have made a difference. This Samuel injury though has certainly is going to make a difference in a very negative way if it doesn’t resolve itself in the next few weeks.

The difference between us and KC on the injury front is disheartening. I would have loved the roles to be reversed last playoffs and seen how that played out.

I was still very interested, but watching the receiving group disintegrate and Milano go down already has certainly put a damper on the party. Of course the hope is with the picks we have and a better cap situation the ship rights itself next season. I have my doubts we have the head coach who can pull it all together.
