  1. Yes first game starting, and that’s an exaggeration. Hamlin is often out of position, hesitating because he knows he doesn’t have the speed to cover, takes poor angles , spends most his time jumping on piles long after the tackle. This is exactly the game Bishop should get lots of playing time to help him get up to speed. Or give the veteran we brought in this year to see what he can do. Hamlin is a backup nothing more.
  2. No not really, he had a life lesson learning about getting burned over the top. Beyond that he was playing next to Hamlin. How good could he look in his first start paired with that hot garbage.
  3. Does it come off negative? Who knew? I’m still repping my Jerry Buttler and Bryce Paup shirts. I could use something in the 2000’s🤦‍♂️
  4. If he was an upgrade he would have been starting to begin with.
  5. It would be nice to get him an easier grab and get him involved before you send him on a 40 yard 50/50 ball. Two times they have tried that pass and each time it was his first touch of the game I believe. Give the rookie a little help.
  6. How long has he been here? Through training camp, 6 games? He’s a professional , and not a rookie, he should be up to speed by now. I don’t care how well Hamlin knows the playbook. He’s too slow, he takes terrible angles. He often hesitates, he doesn’t belong on the field. It will haunt us if he’s not replaced by the play offs. Good teams abuse him.
  7. If Edwards hasn’t learned it by now, that’s pretty sad.
  8. They briefly sad if the ball is in a vertical position when it was lost it becomes a tuck, is this true? Never heard that before…
  9. They should be, it’s really important to win these favorable match ups.
  10. True, very true…
  11. For what my boss paid me it wasn’t hard to do🤦‍♂️ His personal assistant came to the site every day to check progress, only slightly unnerving.
  12. I built a restaurant for Ray Lewis in the Baltimore harbor like 20 years ago. I have to admit he was intimidating to meet in person. But he talked as gentle as Michael Jackson, very strange.
  13. Maybe so, but nothing beats in game experience and he should be getting as much as possible. Hamlin at this point has never shown the possibility of greatness that Benford did.
  14. Same stupid thinking by McDermott that limited Cooks production his rookie year. Rookies make mistakes. Everyone knows that, getting him up to speed is paramount to a strong playoff push. Hamlin gets abused by good offenses. His interception was only possible because he’s scared to actually closely cover someone because he’s too slow to keep up.
  15. Ridiculously bad comment. He got beat over the top in his first start, great lesson to be learned early. He was not any worse than Hamlin after that. He also had to take on the load of playing next to someone not good at his position. Not an easy thing to do for a rookie. He should be taking his lumps learning next to Rapp so we have a higher quality athlete and player come the playoffs. It’s time to get Bishop up to speed and not create another Elam situation.
  16. Unfortunately most of his tackles are jumping on the pile of an already downed player.
  17. They only have around 10- 14 million with some signings to make and rookies to pay. You can get more by cutting Miller, but we will need a pass rusher to replace him. There is hardly 20+ million to spend on a single signing.
  18. Less runs if Brady has a brain. Stop neutering Allen.
  19. That’s taken care of by Allen’s increase and a number of players who will need new contracts. There’s no big money till the year after and Allen will increase again. The only way forward is to be successful drafting and replacing.
  20. Johnson may have made it, but that’s not a given.
  21. We have cap issues, we will most likely have to draft another receiver high next year. It’s not the value he brings it’s what that value costs. This year less than a million, next year 15-20+ million. Not affordable.
  22. But that is just a guess we would even try to resign him. We could just be happy to take the 3rd or 4th round comp pick and very little changes.
  23. How did we materially weaken other parts of the roster?
  24. Depends on what kind of a contract he wants next year. It’s to his advantage to perform.
  25. He basically made one play, beyond that he is Jung of poor angles and jumping on the pile after the tackle. A hugh liability
