  1. John Kerry said the same thing on the campaign trail……
  2. What's going to be the Republican excuse when the DNC gets higher ratings?
  3. This is one of the sets Trump used for his Taylor Swift acceptance: https://ibb.co/q134bpV He was too dumb to understand the word satire printed directly under the AI photos.
  4. America’s view in this poll: ABC/Washington Post poll from this AM's Personal Attributes Questions I didn't see discussed here yet. Which candidate best represents the following statement. July was versus Biden. Is in good enough physical health to serve effectively as president: July 🔴 Trump: +31 Now 🔵 Harris: +30 Has the mental sharpness it takes to serve effectively as president: July 🔴 Trump: +30 Now 🔵 Harris: +9 Understand the problems of people like you: July 🔵 Biden: +2 Now 🔵 Harris: +7
  5. Dont piss off Swifties. I saw her in France this past June, it was pretty crazy https://www.managingmadrid.com/2023/9/6/23861548/how-taylor-swift-fans-are-helping-jude-bellingham-win-the-golden-boy-award . This year, the fan vote has been hijacked by an unlikely group of supporters: Taylor Swift fans. The pop star’s loyal followers, known as Swifties, have launched a campaign to help Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid and England midfielder, win the award over his rival Alejandro Balde, the Barcelona and Spain left-back. Why are Swifties voting for Bellingham? The reason behind this unusual alliance is simple: Balde does not like Taylor Swift’s music. In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Balde was asked if he liked the singer, and he replied: “No, I don’t like her music”. This comment did not go unnoticed by Swifties, who are known for their fierce devotion to their idol and their readiness to defend her against any criticism. A Real Madrid fan account with the Twitter handle ‘Not Phyton’ posted a screenshot of Balde’s quote and urged Swifties to vote for Bellingham instead of Balde. The tweet went viral, and soon thousands of Swifties joined the movement, flooding the online poll with votes for Bellingham. According to Spanish journalist Martin Manin, Balde was leading the fan vote with 43% ahead of Bellingham’s 30%, but in just seven minutes, Bellingham received almost 100,000 new votes, surpassing Balde by a huge margin. How is Bellingham doing in the fan vote? At the time of writing, the fan vote shows that Bellingham has amassed a staggering 89.1% of more than 3 million votes cast. Balde, meanwhile, is in second place with a mere 8.4% of votes, followed by Jamal Musiala with 0.7%.
  6. Not to mention: "I look at what you do. You walk in and say, 'You want to quit?' I won't mention the name of the company, but they go on strike, and you say, 'That's OK. You're all gone. You're all gone. So, every one of you is gone.'" That will go great in MI, PA, and WI. Cool! We will put B-Man down as Kamala getting a convention bump with her winning additional states in the tally then!
  7. Aggregate of aggregates showing who is leading in the key 7 swing states and nationally (Includes RCP, 270toWin, DecisionDesk, RaceToTheWhiteHouse, Economist, NYT, 538, and Silver) NATIONAL 🔵 HARRIS +2.3% WISCONSIN 🔵 HARRIS +2.7% MICHIGAN 🔵 HARRIS +2.4% PENNSYLVANIA 🔵 HARRIS +1.5% ARIZONA 🔵 HARRIS +1.3% NORTH CAROLINA 🔴 TRUMP +0.6% NEVADA 🔴 TRUMP +0.8% GEORGIA 🔴 TRUMP +1.5% If these were the margins on EC day Harris wins the electoral college 281-257
  8. everything about the Trump campaign is fake
  9. https://www.newsweek.com/trump-campaign-forced-pay-north-carolina-city-82k-advance-rally-1938769 The Trump campaign booked the smaller of two venues at the same complex in downtown Asheville for Wednesday's rally. The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium has a capacity of just 2,431 people, while a larger arena next door that is not hosting Trump has a capacity of 7,200.
  10. It is easier to hire an independent contractor who is US. Doing the W-9 vs the W8-BEN is a hassle. Plus Trump has hired enough non US citizens in his life time at his US clubs. Bad optics to hire them for his events. If it’s true or not, the thing is it’s believable. His events are low turn out low effort affairs. He couldn’t even sell out a 7,000 person venue in NC so he had to opt for the small venue.

  12. Atleast Trump made them work for their money:
  13. Woooo!!! Good job PPH!!!!
  14. B-Man in the Assassination thread: "Also those of us who are adults can readily remember that the DNC encouraged dems to register as Republicans to vote in primaries As @JaCrispy said , his registration means nothing. https://www.newsweek.com/democrats-crossover-voting-gop-primary-republicans-trump-1850387" Sounds like it's just Dems registering as Rs.
  15. They're so weird. That's not a normal thing. Everyone should see things like this to understand how dumb these people are. R's have always been so dumb on their abortion policy. If the goal was less abortions, there's ways to achieve that like 1) promote safe sex, 2) offer better child care plans, 3) offer free vasectomies... etc Instead they promote abstinence and do not want access to things like condoms.
  16. Great idea! TCJA ends, let's end the QBI deduction and that more than pays for it. (I think Dems aren't hammering enough that the GOP made all corporate tax cuts permanent instead of individual tax cuts in the TCJA, which is why the individual provisions are ending in 2025.) Detroit has a similar program that's had good success. We've seen similar first time home buying assistance under Republicans with Bush in 2008. Add these to the good ideas of 1) DC and Puerto Rico as states, 2) ending the Senate filibuster, 3) expanding the child tax credit and child care credit.
  17. Elections over. Call it. https://www.newsweek.com/rasmussen-reports-poll-kamala-harris-leading-donald-trump-michigan-1940792 Rasmussen, the most conservative poller, has Harris up in MI and PA. LV | 8/13-8/17 Michigan (MI) 🔵 Harris 48% (+1) 🔴 Trump 47% Expanded with third parties: 🔵 Harris 47% (+3) 🔴 Trump 44% Pennsylvania (PA) 🔴 Trump 48% (+1) 🔵 Harris 47% Expanded with third parties: 🔵 Harris 46% (+1) 🔴 Trump 45%
  18. You have to wonder if they will. Trumps 2016 and 2020 results were due to good turn outs and huge rallies. Is there a correlation between Trumps rally sizes and his voter turn out? If so, it’s looking bleak for Trump. Also a good analysis on this polls weighting: The partisan split was 29D/29R/29I (for all adults, unclear what that ended up being for RV/LV). They weighted on 2020 recalled vote, among other common things. This is generally seen as a way to capture the "hidden Trump voters" to try to avoid a repeat of the 2020 polling error (though its effectiveness is disputed). Weighting on recalled vote often has the effect of underrepresenting voters who voted for the winning candidate last time. Nate Cohn said that half of non-voters from 2020 now tell them they voted, and people are more likely to falsely recall voting for the winner. If they had weighted on recalled vote in 2020 they would have underestimated Trump by even more. It’s possible that this effect cancels out other errors, but the direction of the effect is definitely to underrepresent Biden voters
  19. I was just pointing out Trumps dementia. 1. He thinks the Supreme Court passes laws 2. He thought he was in North Carolina when he wasnt 3. He thinks a dead guy is endorsing him its also hilarious the crowd is empty.
  20. This is really just sad.
  21. I think you need to find your end goal. If we’re looking to decrease US murder how would you do that? Just looking at quick numbers, it seems the murder rate for people in red states is higher than the murder rate of illegal immigrants. So if we have to chose one category of people to go after, wouldn’t it make sense to target the people who commit murder at a higher rate? Are you saying it’s illegal immigrants? So then you’re saying red states have poor borders and let illegal immigrants into their states to commit the murders which increases their murder rate. Therefore, we shouldn’t trust Republicans with borders. Since blue states have lower murder rates, they have less illegal immigrants so we should trust them with the border.
