The kid shows some talent, granted it’s a highlight reel, the question is will he be used to his strengths, I’m not certain Elam was used to his strengths, even with his three interceptions in his rookie year, I don’t think he was on the field as much as he should have been, jmo. It all stems from making poor decisions, we have all made poor decisions at one point or another in our lives, some of us don’t make a habit of doing so. Others? Not so much.

The difference here is that everyone of these players earns in the top two percent of all Americans every year/season, they are already rich, you weren’t rich…, and they are morons.

One can argue that Leslie did himself no favors, three very noticeable and consecutive post season failures, all because of his stand of not making meaningful in game adjustments, something he himself has said he is against doing. The writing was on the wall before the “Senior Defensive Assistant” was being tossed around by McDermott, Leslie was all but gone at that point in time, The Bills were very kind to him, allowing him to “step aside” as if it was his decision, when he was actually being fired/let go/ layed off, or what other euphemism you would prefer.

It’s not like the majority of football players are Rhodes scholars, and they certainly aren’t smart enough to not try to kill the golden goose…, This was all to predictable, the NFL owners own the gambling houses, they are the ones who introduced gambling on the games, it will only get worse.

Imo, Leslie Frazier knows damn well what he has needed to do to become a realistic HC candidate, he just has refused to do it, ie; show that he will make meaningful in game adjustments, and he won’t do it, and absolutely everyone knows this about him. Leslie stated as much in an interview, mind boggling as that is. He repeatedly wouldn’t do it in the post season when games were on the line, so who in their right mind is going to hire him for a HCing position? It was indeed Leslie’s decision to walk away, and that was because he was going to have to do one of two things, have a reduced role, or get fired, so he chose being “let go” under the guise of “stepping away” for a year,

Agree on all the stated differences, Imo, the recent playoff exits stick in McDermott’s craw so to speak, and he thinks to himself, I’ll be damned if it’s happening again.

I suspect it’s both, with the idea that your guys are less beat up / healthier come the playoffs, increasing the odds they play better than your opponents…, cough cough Frazier cough cough 😂
