Nice thread, I would say the main culprit is scheme / play design and making adjustments on both sides of the ball, (coaches) and a lack of difference makers / elite weapons on offense, for example, a killer #1b WR would make a gigantic difference jmo.

Greg Cosell - “I don’t think they have a number 1 WR”
Don Otreply replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
We may not have a #1, but that is in large part that our #2 takes no load off of our #1 , this is not said to pile on Davis, it’s just that he is in a position that his skill set can’t fill, Davis is better suited to be a 3/4 and was far more useful in that role, jmo. -

Is the #2 WR already on this team?
Don Otreply replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the roll of a #3/4 he was useful, as a #2 he was in over his head skill set wise, Davis should never been put in the #2 spot, he was more useful when he was going against teams 3rd or 4th CBs, -

Remember when Davis was the third/fourth option, he was a potent part of our offense with good results, when he became the #2 not nearly as dangerous a weapon, mostly because he was planned for more frequently, and his lack of separation skill was exposed. Now Shakir is faster, twitchier, and gets separation far better than Davis ever has, so “potentially he has the skills to be better in the #2 role. It is my opinion that having big fast high quality route runner at #2 that will draw coverage away from Diggs, and will create one on one match ups with all our receiving option is the way to go, it give the offense a lot of flexibility in scheme and play design, and puts defenses in a pick your poison situation, and that can only be a good thing, jmo. -

Patriot WR arrested for illegal gambling - Over 8,000 bets!
Don Otreply replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, not that the NFL cares, the league/owners own the gambling houses, just as long as the money keeps rolling in. It always amazes me that so many wage earners so eagerly give billionaires their money, (and not just through gambling), being that the vast majority of gamblers lose to the house on a regular basis, oh well…, -
Special teams is the red headed step child of the NFL, no one likes their STs they are players that are not good at their primary roles, so ya get what ya got when it comes to this 1/10th of the team. Ya just hope they don’t totally Fuh k up when they are on the field.

Interesting stat I saw in regards to regular season losses

I think Sean is an above average HC, but if we are honest with ourselves its been the defense that lets us down the majority of the time, our Defense from the get go, and Dorsey’s marginal play calling skills for a season and a half bear the brunt of the failures, I can only think that if for a change they went big on offensive weapons for QB 1 things would be noticeably better, they have been whipping the dead horse (so to speak) for defense long enough, what’s that they say about definition of “insanity”…, GO BILLS!!! -
Josh vouched for Dorsey too, and that didn’t go so well, it’s good to get his opinion of course, but he should not be the deciding factor for who gets the job, jmo.

Any person who would literally attack someone over what happened in a game is a pathetic immature loser, Bass is a good guy, there is no reason to get on him over a missed kick, that is the definition of being a first world snowflake…, -
Tua vs. Dak , who gets the bigger new contract this offseason?
Don Otreply replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope they both get absolutely top money, then their respective teams will be screwed for years, wouldn’t that be really cool, 😁👍 -
I truly hope no-one hires him. Remember kids, don’t put your lips on it…,
