Well, it still is, when it's another team doing it.

Though I thought Chark in the Ravens game was being pretty handsy before the ball got there.

Yup, same thing in the WC game in the end zone with Duke,

referees are so bloody inconsistent, it’s as if they don’t know what the rules of engagement are, which is likely the case.

Hmm... they started out at $8 a month for a subscription and I don't think that lasted very long before they bumped it up to $11. The content is pretty good. Sometimes there's some filler, but guys like Joe B and Fairburn are on there, and Timmy Graham who I think is a solid writer that likes to troll sometimes. I dunno if I'd pay more than $11 a month though, so if they're looking for more revenue, hopefully it doesn't come in the form of charging subscribers more.

Where else but the subscribers would money come from?

"You're being hyperbolic..." as I point out a variety of plays that helped result in a lose...

Then you follow it up with two or three plays by a WR win us that game..

You are 100% right, a WR absolutely wins us that game. Nailed it. Nothing else about that game mattered, two or three plays by a WR win us the game. You are undoubtedly, unabashedly, without question right.

Why do you purposefully play the blow hard? Your points were noted, and they were contributing factors as you said, but one can as well see the obvious plays that decided the game in our opponents favor. But you are so stubborn that you refuse to even entertain anything but your own view. Do have a nice day, and enjoy the upcoming FA period and the draft, I know I will, later 17,

There is no point in going back and forth. There were a handful if not more plays that were/weren't made that cost the Bills that game. You believe it was solely not having a WR, again that's a fine opinion to have. The fact that Allen fell apart in the fourth, the fact they took points off the board for no reason, the fact they had a phantom call on Cody Ford, the fact that Beasley was drastically underutilized, the fact Daboll sputtered in the second half...

But yes, the only factor that matters is WR. I'm done debating the Bills losing to the Texans solely because a WR or lack there of.

Now you’re being hyperbolic, this silly statement is not what anyone is arguing, those thing contributed, and everyone realizes that, but the game would have been won on two or three passing plays that the receivers botched, even with all the other contributing factors, you’re just arguing for the sake of your ego now, talk about clutching pearls, sheesh...

There were plays left on the field by a variety of positions. Not just WR. We

With the Bills Receiver groups propensity to drop passes at crucial moments in games..., that and the receivers are the go to guys, yes, the opinion stated is quite valid, and frankly pretty obvious.

     nuthin but luv,?

I think I’m wanting a beer ? and fried food with cheese on it....screw my arteries...

Like I said up thread I was having a flashback.
Pretty sure there is a whole thread dedicated to Ford's block and the subsequent crackback call.

Yup, I read that thread,? my attempt at at being a bit humorous evidently failed..

I have watched the full game tape. I am not as forgiving as you are. I think it is a legit concern and I am not willing to wave it away and say "ah he was fed up with bad Quarterbacking."

    Catch the damn ball.

This ^^^  we were the 2nd worst in drops last season iirc, or close to it. This very issue has been the bane of our team the last two seasons. Who ever is the best pass catcher is my guy.

Our current best pass catchers by catch percentage iirc,  are Brown Beasley and Williams, we need more... I so do enjoy stating the obvious...?

So I’ve heard in the past that the agents talk around different teams at the combine, and by the end of it they have a a very good sense of what teams interest levels are and what those teams are willing to pay.

At the DE position, the catch is that so many of the pending FA are discussed as being re-signed or franchised - it’s hard to tell how many players will actually be available.

This thing by Shaq could mean that his agent has told him he has multiple suitors who will out-bid each other and offer him crazy money.  Who knows.

If that’s about what he’s offered, I really think we should try to keep him.

I think I agree... it is always so tenuous, especially if we have a lot of competition replacing him and or JP ?

Where you were right is living in London is expensive. But then it is the greatest city in the world so that comes with a price tag. The super rich from America, the China, the Gulf states and Russia are all heavily invested in the London property market. People want to live here.

I don’t blame them, We visited London some years back, stayed at the Luna & Simone hotel, my wife and I were doing a bit of touring, we visited Paris, Florence, Montepulciano, Stuttgart, Rome etc,  it is our intent to return and spend more time in the UK, we enjoyed ourselves quite a bit, London is a very cool town.  We are currently living on our sailboat, sailing between New England and the southern Bahamas, chasing the warm temps. My grandfather moved from Coventry to the States via Canada were he met my Grandmother who moved from Ireland, they had a Jaguar XKE,  loved that car. When we get to old to sail (a few years out) we are headed back, we want to spend a month in the UK., my wife wants to do some walks in the Cotswolds(sp)?  yes we are retired, pensioners as you might say.

There is such a thing as leasehold. My flat is a leasehold. I don't own the land. I lease land for the next 74 years but I also have a legal right to extend that lease (though it costs) and my ground rent for the land is £5 per year. It is not owned by the Royal Family (they own 0.03% of British land) or a nobleman it is owned by a clever businessman who spotted an opportunity in the late 80s. Only about 15% of all English homes are leasehold and so covered by these rules and they are mainly flats and mainly in London.

Pretty much every house (as opposed to flat) in the UK is a freehold. That means you own the house and the land it is yours until you choose to sell. That is 85% of British homes.

So in summary you are right there are some British homes (well, English actually, leasehold doesn't exist in Scotland) where you own the house but lease the land, albeit you have a legal right to extend your lease. However, it is a minority of homes and the vast majority are freeholds where the owner owns the land.

But you are definitely not right that you pay money to the Queen or the Royals. In fact it is much more likely that the original owners of the land were the Church rather than the Royals.

I stand corrected, I was misinformed evidently, thanks for the education, never to late to learn as my Ninety year old father says. ?
