Lol, the league is making more money than ever. If stuff like Brown happened more often it would only increase ratings.

Exactly, American life is becoming one hot take after another, a Kardashian hell, our whole damn society is fixated on this sort of shallow crap.

Every time anyone clicks on this type of mindless dribble, it makes it thrive all the more. We do it to ourselves by participating in this gossipy crap.

if no one clicked the demand and monetary gain goes away.

    Go Bills!!!

  2. Nice article, I think he was as straight about players as you’re gonna see from a GM, as to his statements about Josh, I believe he was playing his card close to his chest so to speak, said all the right things imo. Everyone on this teams knows their spot is not guaranteed, and Beane speaks that way, it’s his job to keep everyone on their toes as it were.

  3. I want to see a functioning O line, and receivers catching passes, if the O line does it’s job the running game will work,  I want to see an alert opportunistic defense with no lapses in concentration.  I want to see smart play in all phases of the game.  I want to see the team come away with a win.  That is what I want to see.

  4. The more I think about this the more I say to myself, Really? An owner who is lazy, ya got Chucky, who’s a over paid blow hard, and Mayock, the figure head GM who doesn’t know he’s in over his head, this has had disaster written all over it from the get go. Then you add in AB, the drama queen, and ya get what ya got. Frankly I think the whole thing is funny as hell.  A major black eye for the Raiders organization. ????????

They already decided to employ him and commit heavily to two seasons with him.

Once youve made that decision you have to figure out how to maximize. I’m sorry but few of our day to day jobs come with an office that shares a guy getting $30m guaranteed so I don’t think standard issue HR stuff translates apples to apples.

But if your top sales person brought in ten times the second best and the majority of your revenue he probably gets to make his own hours. Especially if you hired him from the competition for a huge contract knowing he came in late and liked to golf on Friday afternoon. If you want to write him up for that and withhold commissions you probably shouldn’t have brought him on in the first place
