I think the 17 game season could solve a key goal of the NFL, expansion into new markets. Each team will have to play one neutral site game like London or Mexico City, but throw in Berlin, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo, Toronto (eek), and I am sure a few others. And if there are enough foreign cities how about regional games at college stadiums. Now based on the press release I have no idea if the neutral site game would be the plan, but it is sort of the only way an odd number of games works.

As an exhibition game sure, but the same problem that killed NFL Europe  is still there. There is no American style football infrastructure in the rest of the world/no talent to create more teams. The rest of the world already has its established pro big money sports. The NFL needs the rest of the world, the rest of the world does not need the NFL.  For some reason Americans can’t wrap their heads around this.  Soccer, which is a world sport has successfully infiltrated the US, market with both major and minor leagues, and over time will usurp American football.

WOW.  This is big.  While back-handedly "supporting" his coach in the postgame presser, he was actually throwing him directly under the bus.  And he knew that he audibled out of another play.  LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this is true, and I truly hope that it is, that team is a pressure cooker waiting to pop... we gotta hope old blow -ob starts whining to add a bit more heat... ?

  3. When me and my cohort were young and physically fit, it made it much easier to imbibe at a very high level, drinking and smoking ganja was just a way of life back in the day. Luckily we as a group we didn’t draw much attention to ourselves, we had a motto back then, “don’t leave tracks”  we did slip up now and then,  got thrown out of a piggly wiggly for telling dirty jokes to the other shoppers I think it may have been the mushrooms, it was a long time ago....?  Anyway,  I am far better behaved nowadays... ?

Last Sunday 69,448 fans jammed New Era Field for the 2019 home opener.  That’s 97% of listed capacity.  In 2018 attendance was 69,187 at the opener vs. the Chargers.

Remember when that same stadium held 82,290?  Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the largest official attendance for a concert at Rich Stadium.   80,107 came to hear the WHO on September 26, 1982.

I realize the NFL wants Buffalo to build a new stadium.  It’s the cool thing to do with plush suites, bigger video boards and supposedly it will provide more revenue to visiting teams.

WHY in Buffalo?  We consistently draw to 90% capacity.  I realize the economics and population in the Buffalo area doesn’t fit the NFL model.  So what?  We ARE Buffalo and that’s the way it is.  We’re a special city with a special NFL football team.

Any other old memories from our old stadium???

    GO BILLS!

When I was 16 me and friends saw The Rolling Stones at Rich, Bobby Womack opened the show, the place was packed, have no idea of the head count but I suspect in couldn’t have been far off of The Who concert. Good times,

  5. The guy takes no chances, he’s like Rain Man, I swear he’s touched in a way that gives him a clarity in football that very few others ever achieve.  If you dropped a box of stick matches he would know how many were still in the box after it spilled, he’s a freak that way.

Out side of that F K the patriots

    Go Bills!!!

It's not very persuasive to equate Italian deli meat to explosives. No one ever was sent to the hospital because they sat next to someone eating salami.

I’ll assume you get my point none the less,  look at it like this, the death rate is holding steady at 100% no one gets out alive, if I want to use fireworks my safety is my responsibility,  we should not as a society try to legislate every damn thing. There are always exceptions to the rule. But let’s not jump the shark either.
