Your argument pretends that a solution can’t be found, or that treating others as you would want to be treated is not something to aspire to. To me the word redskin is tantamount to using the “N” word, there is no positive connotation in the use of either word. While on the other hand, being a “Brave” or a “Chief” is aspirational, both of those words are seen as affirmative and viewed in a positive way in many cultures, in the business world being the CFO or a COO is a position of power, and being Brave is what we honor in our own Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard service members. Such a waiver is not legally binding, and the leagues legal representatives know it. It is farcical at best to even pretend a waiver could be used as an instrument that could protect the league from future judicial action. An organization can not knowingly invite people into an environment that can endanger their health/ kill them and not be held legally responsible. Whoever proposes/authorizes this scam on behalf of the NFL is very likely to be the league’s future scapegoat. Only money worshippers would even entertain criminal activity on this level.

How is gathering outside any different than gathering inside? Sad as it is we need to get used to the notion that no football at all is a very real possibility. They can just ID everyone at the gate, out of state ID means no entry to the stadium, and it’s not illegal to do so. So anyone purchasing those tickets may get jammed up, and have no recourse.

This is yet another example of why the NFL spends hundreds of millions of dollars annually on their public image. Greed, it’s what’s for dinner...
