This ^^^ The run game was for all intents an afterthought this past season, mostly because Allen and the receivers were ripping it up for the majority of the season, but even the running plays that were called were uninspired, and did not use the best abilities of the O line or the running backs. That and as much as no one talks about it, not having Spain, and a healthy Ford run blocking showed this past season. Look back to the season before last, the run play calling was substantially better on every level, as was the blocking. It is my hope that Beane’s appropriate kick in the pants that he delivered post season to those that are responsible for the drop off takes hold. Anyway, jmo.

Ah, there it is, I never once said or made inferences that there was high level of play, only that the players results were enough to be rewarded playing time, by those that make the decisions. Other personnel were available, but were not considered, so things stand as they are.

Left to right, Dawkins, Ford Morse, Feliciano, Williams, that is my starting O line prediction for the upcoming season. Our best pass blocking center is Morse, I don’t think they are cutting/releasing Morse. Maybe a trade but not likely. The run blocking will improve with Ford on the line. Go Bills !!!

Not surprised that talking heads or fans say anything they say, in which they/we are usually wrong, they almost always address everything as if it existed in a vacuum, which makes folk come off as silly and shallow in thought, we all fall prey to this way of thinking from time to time, some more so than others.

Beane got us a good one in Davis, Gabe is self driven, and will have success. Whiny remarks by a fan on this board about not watching the game are laughable on a good day. Good on Davis for his actions, he is not answerable to the press or whiny fans.

So by your reckoning it then appears those lowly good for nuthin bench/ cut worthy players showed no results to those who decide who gets playing time..., yah that’s it, that’s how it works in the NFL. “Results” of all kinds, do not take shape in a vacuum.
