  1. Getting a replacement for John Brown who is his equal across the board will likely cost nearly as much or even more than Brown himself. It is the difference between the two salaries that reflects any savings, not Browns entire salary. That and the childish reference to fanmadden being used as an actual reason that a team might trade, wave/cut a player is just plain poor intellectual journalism, sad reflection on the writer really...
  2. That 13-3 regular season record and division championship, and post season wins does say he is doing most things right, wouldn’t ya think..., that and there's more to it than meets the eye, we had Ford injured then out on IR, and Spain who the previous season was a fine run blocker, then he got to big for his britches..., having both out/gone made a big difference in the run game, this past season, ya can’t just poop out a good O line guy and call it a day... it ain’t that easy... it’s like you don’t think the coaching staff is busy trying to fix the issue, cool yer jets a little😁👍
  3. I didn’t know he sported Bills gear, pretty cool if you ask me,
  4. I can see your view, I was just pointing out that it was not wholly surprising that only two teams interviewed him.
  5. BD has had a few less than stellar seasons as an OC, and it is fair to suggest that those performances may have been part of why only two teams asked for interviews for head coaching positions. We all want him to have more success, for very obvious reasons. For all any of us know BD may have his ducks in a row, and be on his way to pro football coaching stardom, I for one hope so.
  6. Not surprised, with his body of work being what it is, that and the belichick coaching tree being what it is... If Daboll can put together several more high win. Count seasons he will have a real chance, but not before then, jmo.
  7. What Lee says about Knox is diametrically opposed to a large number of posters here. I too like to bust Knox once in a while 😁. I like what he says about getting open as the key to being a good WR, Beasley ain’t fast, he is quick, and he gets open, combine that with what, hardly any drops, Beasley is way under rated. Nice interview, thanks for posting it, 👍
  8. Had a girl friend with that name, so, yah, your right, no thanks... that and the neck injury, that’s a prove you can stay healthy contract imo,
  9. “The game is won and lost in the trenches” That old true-ism persists because it’s true...
  10. Both Singletary and Moss are #2s, they aren’t ever going to be #1s, although he is faster, Hawkins is as mentioned, undersized, we do not need a third #2 RB, it would be okay as Gunner said, as 6th or 7th round pick. If the offensive line and the RBs can get on the same page, our current talent will look much better, an improvement on the O line will be more beneficial as a whole. Although a bigger faster RB would be really nice to have...
  11. Webb has the play book knowledge that’s needed, and a better arm than Barkley, and will be inexpensive to to promote to Bu QB, in a season with financial constraints Webb is a likely selection if they don’t stick with Barkley. Fromm?, Fromm is the C-19 back up for the foreseeable future.
  12. Being that they have rarely used him in how many years now... what purpose does he fill on the O and is that worth the money... Yeldon has been a good option that was virtually not used, so unless SM has a change planned for the RB group he is gone, to Yeldon’s credit, he made a bunch of money working out for a living, pretty good gig if I do day do myself,
  13. Life is not black or white but shades of grey... I don’t pay to watch...
  14. Someone said something about her dog liking him first, I’m thinking “dog“ is code for something else, but that could just be me...
  15. Being that player value is always subjective from team to team, and pick to pick, the best we can hope for is for Beane to be Beane and enhance the team with whatever action he takes.
  16. It would not surprise me if the rest of the owners would like to see the Snyd gone.
  17. I think it was Schrödinger’s cat that did the deed...
  18. There is truth in this statement, it is hoped he will grow a wider scope of actions as QB, this being one of those actions.
  19. Spain did get to big for his britches and screwed the team, that is a given. That does not make what I said less true. We miss what he used to supply to the O line, and that needs to be replicated, the sooner the better. Pretty simple really.
  20. I do like watching the Bills play, but I’m not drinking the NFL koolaid, the NFL is just another greedy corporation, like so many others.
