  1. I agree with that, but I suspect it’s more along the lines of advocating for oneself, because if he doesn’t advocate for himself who is going to? Can’t just sit back and rely on an agent, It also helps with the backup plan to advertise to other teams on the unlikely chance he were to not be re-signed, because those teams are always looking as well.
  2. He might just be reminding the FO and coaches of his versatility, and that he is worth re-signing, that and knowing someone wants your job, cough, cough, Morse... might just be a motivational factor for that individual, just sayin Go Bills!!!
  3. Our run blocking regression was even more profound, and is the majority of the reason both our RBs are mediocre on a good day, as I stated up thread, the loss of Spain and Ford on the O line, has been more than noticeable in our meager run game. Now don’t get me wrong, a “better” RB would be nice, but an O line that can run and pass block at will is substantially better..., The game is won and lost in the trenches, this truism persists because it’s true... Go Bills!!!
  4. Jmo, but that team is screwed long term... it all stems from ownership, and the Meyers hiring was not a stellar choice.
  5. JF is a quality guy, and he gives the team one less thing to be concerned with, glad to hear him make that clear. Go Bills!!!
  6. Your making me lol 😂, what makes you think your one of the strong people?? 😂 Go Bills!!!
  7. Our society doesn’t like the truth to be said out loud on so many fronts, this is just another instance, of overblown “correctness” it’s okay to state that a receiver dropping a pass cost a team the game. The problem is that folk tend to go overboard on criticism.
  8. I’ve not heard anything about post season surgeries for our guys, the rumor mill may have been closed down, in that “maybe” McDermott did insist on keeping this information in house???? Don’t know for certain but it sounds likely to me. Go Bills!!!
  9. True, yet impressive none the less, 👍 Just imagine what Josh’s pass percentage numbers would have been like during his first season if he actually had guys who caught the ball at a high percentage.... much closer to the magic sixty percent number I would guess.
  10. As controversial as it sounds the “majority” of draft picks annually by all teams are BPA at positions of need. Even Beane (who I am a big fan of) said he chose BPA at positions of need in an interview during our last draft. (I was amazed he admitted it) Strict BPA draft picks happen far less often than fans realize. It has taken on mythical proportions over the decades even though it rarely happens. I have total faith in Beane, McDermott and their team of evaluators to choose the right players for our team, It’s going to be a fantastic upcoming season! Go Bills!!!
  11. It won’t matter unless the OC comes up with a run game that the O line and RBs can execute correctly, If he does that our current RBs will look good... not saying better talent wouldn’t help, but... first things first... Go Bills!!!
  12. I-Mac is a useful part of the offense, we should of course try to keep him. Go Bills!!!
  13. Like it or not, Nepotism is part of the human condition. Being that we humans are all tribal when push comes to shove. It should surprise no-one, ever..,
  14. JFG Ice bowl, hows it going with you? Go Bills!!!
  15. What a bunch of pathetic people, next thing you know they will all be getting hair cuts like the raiders owner... and their HC...
  16. I think it is actually his spleen...
  17. It was in hind sight not such a good move to let them walk, especially with the money spent, I initially was okay with them walking, but as it turned out I was not so brilliant as it were... Doth protest to much I think...
  18. I agree, but that strategy does not preclude taking advantage of an opportunity to get talent when it is priced right,
  19. The league/owners gain nothing keeping the cap low, the owners will happily loan themselves money to keep the gravy train rolling,
  20. But they did produce with the Bills in the Bills system... players play best in certain systems, and with certain other players, it’s the lust for money that drives them from success to mediocrity...
  21. The game is won and lost in the trenches... it is a true-ism that holds over the decades. Go Bills!!!
  22. I miss watching the Bills too, but the off season is good for the fans as well as the players. Helps build the excitement of the upcoming season, which by the way is gonna be Fuh king awesome!!! Just sayin... 😁 Go Bills!!
  23. There is always a limit of what to pay for a given performance level, JF is “league wide” likely above average as a guard, and center, yes good enough can be the enemy of great, I don’t begin to have enough knowledge on actually available / viable replacements currently around the league / draft, that’s why Beane makes the big bucks. If Beane finds someone better at any position for the right money I for one can live with that, 😁 Go Bills!!!
