  1. That I believe cane from not being properly prepared for the game.
  2. I look at it as an correctable error on the coaching staff that they will learn from, what does not kill us makes us stronger, we will be better because of it.
  3. They had a bit of an intimidated look about them, as if they didn’t trust what they were being asked to do, type of vibe, at least that’s how it seemed to me,
  4. I do know that was the chorus, I claim old guy memory syndrome, as my defense for the rest of it 😁
  5. I hear ya, If I’m a woman in a position of power, I’m not likely to hire this guy if he hasn’t repented in a very obvious way, and shown himself to have changed his behavior over a notable period of time, and even then I would be hesitant to hire him.
  6. Mostly it was run play schemes, and that our best O line combination was never on the field together at any point of the season, that and with Spain being an azs when it came to doing his job, and getting himself fired, these facts fit very well with Beane’s remarks in the end of season PC, it really is not so complicated as to why our run game regressed from the previous season, all ya gotta do is look at what changed one year to the next, and the answer becomes apparent.
  7. This is true, I think it shows the difference in experience of a long time successful HC vs a year three HC, although with some success in this case.
  8. Is this another Chad person that only gets attention because of the last name...
  9. I believe the entire game plan has to bear a large part of the blame for how poorly the team performed, the team was not well prepared for the KC game, and it showed, jmo.
  10. Somebody was tampering with the weed...
  11. Generically speaking it was the O line, but upon a little investigation what shows up is that it was a combination of player injuries and the timing of those injuries that caused our best guys to not take a single snap together as a unit throughout the entire season, that and Spain being an azs about actually doing his job, and getting himself fired, are the root causes of the run game floundering so badly. Throw in poor scheming, and you’ve got the icing on a cake no one wanted a piece of. To our benefit Beane understands this, jmo.
  12. Beane gives Overdorf a set of instructions, and Overdorf then follows them, the days of Overdorf having decision making authority are gone, and that is a very good thing. Beanes approval is a requirement on all contracts.
  13. Yup, Beane has been BPA at positions of need since day one, that is certainly a safe bet, but no guarantee as you said. It’s nice though to have a GM that doesn’t play Madtasy with our team...
  14. A nickel and three pennies...
  15. I for one hope so, mainly because it worked quite well, jmo.
  16. This right here ^^^ The above, plus Spain being an azs, we lost the cohesion we would otherwise have had in the run game, to me it’s kind of stunning that more folk don’t grasp this, and pretend it was Moss and Singletary sucking... when it was kind of a perfect storm for a mediocre run game.
  17. Way cool ! 😎 Looks like Beane has things under control, he’s keeping the band together! Go Bills!!!
  18. Yes our Skill player are better than theirs,
  19. Our pass blocking is above average, and with JA slinging the ball we are gonna do fine passing the majority of the time, run blocking on the other hand, not so much... we have two RBs that performance wise were mediocre this past year, no doubt, but that was mostly because running plays were poorly executed / designed for the vast majority of the season. This aspect I grant you is certainly in need of attention.
  20. Our O line is fine most of the time as far as pass blocking goes, as to run blocking the O line as it currently sits was noticeably lacking as was stated by our GM at the season end PC, but hell, why take his word for it... The D lines run stopping issues are also well known, but yah, let’s ignore that too... because the lines holding up on every play is of no consequence evidently...
  21. Really? How many plays success is contingent on your lines holding up? The answer to that is; every single one...
  22. Not seeing Beane spend what is altogether to much money on an as stated above, an often injured RB, when the O line and D line are in need of attention as it were. The old true-ism that “ The game is won and lost in the trenches” persists, because it’s true...
  23. This Star stuff is starting to have a conspiracy theory tinge to it... 😁👍
