  1. I will openly admit to not reading all the posts in this thread... My take on this is that the addition of a 17th game is old news to the teams and players, being all the particulars would have to have been worked out previous to an open announcement, and this change going forward, so, any and all adjustments to cap/salaries should there be any, have already been agreed to, what ever those possible changes might be. So, not really news at all, imo. What may be worth chatting about is the inevitability of the 18th game being added, because we all know that is gonna happen, and it will be the next excuse/reason to renegotiate the TV/ broadcast contracts...💰 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰it will happen inside the next five years, bank on it.
  2. The key to the offensive lines improvement will be continuity and staying healthy, Remember, we did not have our preferred O line group together and healthy during the entire past season iirc. That said, even so we went 13-3, won the AFCE title, won multiple playoff games, and again, without our preferred O line guys healthy and playing together... Take into consideration that the need for an improved run game has come from on high... so we can assume the run game issue is already being schemed to a higher level, gotta have trust in our GM, HC, and OC.
  3. It only to a moment to realize, and I’m on the older side. 62, and yes I always enjoyed watching MJ play, he was a maestro on the court.
  4. The answer is no, Ford will be just a part of the offense being better in the run and pass game...
  5. I love it when fans say, I’m gonna need to see the numbers... as if it makes any difference what we fans think about anything... 😂
  6. When I glanced at the title, I was like who is Jordan Brand... 😂
  7. Considering how very bad O line depth is league wide, I think Beane is doing very well with these signings, that and as we all know, some of these guys are not even gonna make the team.
  8. Since when has it been a prerequisite for a stadium name sponsor to be a local business? That and 98% of corporations have no soul/ sense of the concept of the greater good, their god is money, they are the Sith of our world.
  9. I heard Todd McShay was traded to Fox News in a player for player swap with Tucker Carlson....
  10. Hmmm..., let me think about this..., nope, I just can’t come up with one iota of care about these people’s financial missteps, nope not one iota...
  11. Can he be called up to the 53..... Yeah, I know, I’m a bad person, I couldn’t help myself... the devil made me do it...
  12. With RED helmets!!! So nice to see the thousands of Red helmet fans congregating with their emojis... 😂
  13. Nice, but what’s he doing this year... 😂
  14. Perfectly predictable, it’s as if you were standing at stage right waiting for your chance at the big time... every thing in its own vacuum...
  15. Hell, I look better than you at linebacker, and I’m 62 years old... 😂
  16. Thanks for the info, that’s what I was thinking, 👍
  17. Does anyone know how many players that have been brought onto this program make it to a starting lineup, or is this a every so often one of these guys makes a team, and it’s really just an advertising ploy in all reality? Asking for a friend...
  18. Pete Naterman is my official vote for the Jets new QB.
  19. I watched a bunch of Sanders highlights from this past season, a few take aways would be; Brees’s arm was just shot, put a fork in it level of done, because of that his receiving stats likely suffered quite a bit, now that Sanders is playing with a QB that has an accurate canon for an arm he should more effective. With ES teamed up with Diggs, Beasley, Davis, McKenzie, Hodgins etc, we maintain a lethal receiving Corp. Now we just need to fix the run game... 😁👍
  20. It’s is and always will be Rich Stadium 🏟 I suspect It became the “Ralph” because the team was so mismanaged, and it’s image was so poorly thought of that no corporate sponsors could be convinced to associate their name with the Bills in those days , so the yes men talked Ralph into put his name on the stadium for lack of a better option. Sad, yet very likely true...
  21. Earlier on in this thread, I remarked that our current run game was in essence not credible, and that we were in fact a one dimensional offense, and that it was exposed when all four of our starting WRs we’re playing injured, I also stated that our run game must be made to be effective when we chose those play options, otherwise the team will top out as a damn good passing team, but unable to go any further than we did this past season. I do believe that BB & SM are not so arrogant as to not at least attempt to improve that aspect of the offense.
  22. I’m guessing that you and Shaw66 are both correct in your thoughts, I think it would be counter productive to not throw a few wrinkles into the run game schemes, while using the O line we have. Being we will continue to be a pass first team, the run game needs to be effective when we choose that option, if they can do that the whole offense becomes more lethal, and productive, and as an aside that will make the defenses job just a bit easier.
  23. I didn’t see totally F ing up the draft and keeping Darnold as a choice, so I didn’t make a selection...
  24. It’s Beanie babies all over again...
