All these types of lists are based on biased opinions, (just like our own opinions) there are no absolutes involved, Josh ranked at #9 is because many pundits are still hoping Josh regresses, (the I told you so group) and that it’s the Buffalo Bills after all… it’s gonna take a SB win and or a few more successful seasons for the stain of the drought years to fade, sad yet true. Go Bills!!!

Good points made, for Ralph, every period of success he and the Bills had, it was followed by decades of mediocrity, he never seemed all that interested in the sustained success thing. I just assumed he was busy making even more money in his other endeavors, so the Bills were literally just a hobby for him, so it really never mattered that much to his portfolio.

Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole

No one on this green earth realized how awful KB and Zay Jones would turn out to be, I had up till then not seen receivers who was afraid to catch a pass, hell, if we had it started McKenzie and Duke Williams we would have won two more games that season…, 😁 -

Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole

This right here^^^ This will be our version of two TE sets, so to speak, GD will take JB’s spot, teams know damn well that if they don’t cover Davis he can catch and score a bunch of TDs over a season, so with Diggs, Davis Beasley and Sanders, with a sprinkling of McKenzie and Hodgins (sp) we have a really potent receiver group, it truly is a pick your poison situation for defenses. Go w!!! McKenzie in a way is like our current #2 CB, always in competition for his job, and always winning the position, I would not count him out, as it were. Go Bills!!! -

Didn’t McKenzie score seven TDs last season? that kind of production is not on the bubble, just sayin, also not saying he is Beasley either, but the guy scores points. -

Your right, I was hitting nearly identical scores when I was 25 years old… Go Bills!!! -
Ralph was Ralph, warts and all, some good some bad, much like all the other humans on this rock.

Your points are well made. The run game will have three major objectives, 1) protect the QB/run block, 2) move the chains, 3) score points when the opportunity presents itself. This is a pass first offense, and the running game is a complimentary piece of that strategy. If those three objectives are achieved by the running game on a regular basis the run game will be seen as successful by the GM, HC, OC, and the owners, and that is what counts. I’m starting to believe that some folk are over thinking the run aspect of the offense. Go Bills!!!

RB is a really GLARING need, right?
Don Otreply replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No it won’t be a failure…, if when their numbers are called they achieve what is expected of them. Total yardage is not the number one metric for what the RB contribution is on this particular team, it is to; 1) move the chains, 2) protect the QB/ pass block, 3) score points when the opportunity presents itself. This teams offense is built around passing the ball, running the ball is a complimentary aspect to said passing game. Folk are over thinking this. Go Bills!!! -
Interesting analysis of Josh Allen 2020 season

How many times did our guy just stuff a D guy and get really good yards and or a TD, it was so great to watch this happen, by the end this up coming season teams won’t know what to do to stop the JA17 machine. -

Nice, this season will be another in a line of great performances by # 17 and his crew, the Buffalo 🦬 Bills. Go Bills!!! -
Absolutely correct MGK, if you start with the Quentin Spain situation, then add on injuries, and scheme changes, you get what we had, as you said, I do think Beane, McDermott, and Dabol, more than likely had a long sit down so to speak, to hash out objectives and the means to achieve those objectives. I believe we will have a run game that nicely complements our pass first offense, it’s going to be a fun watch all season long! Go Bills!!!

Remember this, we changed our run blocking scheme from what it was in Singletary’s first season to what it has been this past season, remember when Singletary was 5 yards per carry average? That was the previous run blocking scheme. The OC and his staff changed what was working, and not for the better…, we must go back to what was so effective during Singletary’s first season, or a version on that theme/scheme. It’s not rocket science folks…, look at the past three year history of our O line, it’s personnel, and the schemes employed, there in lies the answer…, again not rocket science…, Go Bills!!!
