What happens with Jake Fromm?
Don Otreply replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s the Bills red stapler guy down in the basement... 😁 -
Wentz upon a time..., there was a QB who was almost good enough...,

Ever notice that Fromm is never spoken of in terms of his QB skills, by the FO/HC, only that he is going through the motions holding down the Covid QB designation, Fromm seems to be the Bills version of the red stapler guy in office space. Does anyone actually know if this kid has a live arm, or has the intangibles to be a NFL QB?, is he likely out of the league in two ish years time?, could he be waived/cut for a new red stapler guy this draft/ UDFA...

Jayson Oweh DE PSU my first round TGT.

Maybe he’s not particularly football smart, wouldn’t be the first time that an elite athlete turns out to not be good at football. -
The Great Tremaine Edmunds Debate
Don Otreply replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was gonna post the same thing... 👍 -
Watching the Emanuel Sanders highlights with Brees throwing to him, really drove home just how much “arm talent “ Josh possesses. It’s like you said, it’s like the ball is taking a leisurely stroll by comparison.

Allen had 21 dropped interceptions last year
Don Otreply replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually those would be defensed passes, it’s only an interception when it’s not dropped..., Oh, did PFF ding both Mahomes and Allen’s QB ratings for interceptions that didn’t happen? -
The Great Tremaine Edmunds Debate
Don Otreply replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, being that most of the time fans are wrong, I’ll roll with the coaches on this debate. -
Never been so disinterested in a draft
Don Otreply replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For me this draft is different from the last very many years, it will be interesting to see how Beane operates in this new territory, mostly because, no matter where your pick is you have to do it so it benefits your team even when your team is already good, this to me is a big boys draft, not the clutching for straw drafts that have marked all to many Bills drafts in the past, we get to see how a good team drafts well this time. -

Why can't Brandon Beane get the defense right?
Don Otreply replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This here is and example of an opportunity for good practical humor, when someone does something like this, you fill their car to the top of the seats with bird seed..., it’s inexpensive and relatively harmless yet quite funny, but that could just be me..,, 😂 -
Sheldon...? Isn’t he that guy from the Big Bang theory....

Warren Sharp analysis on Bills draft needs
Don Otreply replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speed and size is a difficult get at LB for us it appears, that would certainly help, better scheming/personnel usage would also help. -
Dolphins Fan Take - Morning JA Discussion At Work
Don Otreply replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup, he has issues, it is especially obvious when he tries to throw a pass, the guy has so little arm strength that he has to use his entire body to throw the ball, and even then there is no zip on the ball. Tua does not generate functional velocity on his passes, at some point this past season somebody posted QB stats on throwing velocity and Tua ranks near the bottom of qualifying QBs league wide, imo Tua will be a mediocre BU QB in a few years. -
Warren Sharp analysis on Bills draft needs
Don Otreply replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, but the more this is considered, the more it is run play scheming that is the actual culprit on offense, imo SM/LF get a bit stuck in their ways and lack creativity concerning the D side of this conundrum. -

The guy is clutching at straws, it reeks of jealousy, being that he gets to look forward to Tua, being “a Tua” all season long again..., 😁 -

ooof, more than he was bargaining for... 😁 for Dion it was like tossing a box of cereal across the kitchen, boy these guys are big and freaking strong 💪 -
Why can't Brandon Beane get the defense right?
Don Otreply replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t know, maybe its because guys leave... maybe its because Sean and Brandon haven’t been able to get the guys they really want, maybe the Bills are now a known quantity and are taken far more seriously, I mean why did the Donald lead Rams defense fail against our offense, in fact why did defenses fail fifteen times against us last season, it’s a hard game played by hard men, it’s hard to win in the NFL..., maybe I’m waiting for you to come out and blame and Levi Wallace, and Devon Singletary... maybe I’ll go get another beer 🍺... 😁👍 Oh and thanks for this opportunity... -
SI: The Unrivaled Arrival of Trevor Lawrence
Don Otreply replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The hype machine is in full swing..., TL certainly shows potential, but as what’s his name said, “ potential means you haven’t done sh-t yet” lets see how this plays out in real football, he could be great, he could be a mediocre BU QB in five years..., we shall see.
