There is a saying I heard not long ago about the Germans and the British, Germans are to honest to be polite, and the British are to polite to be honest, seems to hold true, 😁 -

Brandon Beane interviews 5/4 and 5/5

Beane doesn’t “F” around, he says what he means, if I’m a marginal player, I’m getting vaccinated, sad he has to verbally kick people in the azs to get them to take such an easy step up for themselves, and their future as players, oh well, ya can lead a horse to water..., -
I hear ya, I think pretty much the same, the run game all in all was an afterthought as compared to the passing game, mostly because the passing game was kicking Azs throughout most of the season. Beane made it awfully darn clear he wants an effective run game this upcoming season, I am confident we will see exactly that as a compliment to the passing game.

Curious, if it’s not the RBs, or having our preferred O line guys all healthy at once for the first time in over a season, plus with good BUs, and some with starting potential, what is it then? Scheme? coaching? Being that without our Preferred starters we still went 13-3, we should likely be all the better this upcoming season. I would add that our coaches learn and grow better with their learning experiences, I don’t see the issues that some want to make mountains out of mole hills about, no team since the Dolphins undefeated season have been perfect before or after so...,

Not strange in the least, everyone knew/knows our preferred O line Starters didn’t play together the entire season do to injury, back ups were in use a lot and run game schemes were changed to accommodate the BU linemen’s skills, now we have the preferred O line guys all healthy, and we have substantial BUs / potential starters behind them. The run blocking can now be schemed to the talent that both our RBs posses, we aren’t gonna run a hell of a lot more, but we will be effective when we choose those plays, all of this follows what Beane was not so subtle about in his season end PC, and frankly it’s kinda surprising that so many fans have had this go right over their heads, but, what are ya gonna do, you can lead a horse to water...,

Ok bubba, -
Not specifically, but he was on the injury reports with a F’d up shoulder for weeks, he wasn’t right until the last quarter ish of the season, everyone knows this who followed the season, hell, we had a bunch of O & D guys out or playing injured throughout the season and still went 13-3, can our team be better? Sure, and we took steps where it was most needed to improve, and CB was not one of the spots that was “most” in need, nor was RB...,

Bates is that developmental player you don’t think exists..., he can play all O line positions, on top of that, Feliciano plays center as well, ya gotta keep track of the players we have before you make blanket statements..., just sayin, -
Whatever Beane does, those that are currently disappointed will likely remain so... “it is the way”
-
Well, now that we have our preferred O line personnel healthy at the same time and first time in over a season of play, with additional quality backups, and a run game/ blocking schemes that are being addressed, at B Beanes not so subtle urgings, to those in charge of said run game schemes, I think we will all be happy to see our run game as being quite efficient and effective when it is used, not much else to say that the FO and HC haven’t already eluded to..., gonna go get a beer 🍺 now...,

Thinking outside the box on occasion is a good thing, and you can bet your bacon that these sorts of ideas do get floated among coaches, they may not go very far, but stuff like Refrigerator Perry as a RB has been done many times, including the Bills, Kyle Williams says hello 👋 -
Nice write up, you hit on several valid points that I agree with.👍
