No one is “enamored” with Hollister, no one is calling him “great”, he is though a better pass catching TE than Knox is at this time, nothing more, Frankly I don’t care who wins first chair in the TE room, as long as that person ends this upcoming season with a substantially better catch percentage than Knox does at this present, 😁👍 I think we all want that 😁 Go Bills!!!

Also true, but I don’t think anyone has labeled Hollister as great, just a better pass catching TE than Knox is at present, as I said up thread Hollister has a 12 point higher catch percentage that Knox does, and that is a notable improvement in performance over our current #1 guy at the position. Maybe Knox will up his game, but we shouldn’t be turning our nose up at a player who is factually better at catching passes by a notable degree, just sayin 👍

Yet, with a 12 point better catch percentage than our number 1 guy, yes Hollister is not a super star, but he does appear to be dependable, from his college years to present, and as stated, that is an improvement over Knox at this time, should this hold true, I for one will take that improvement. At any rate it’s another TC competition to keep an eye on. Go Bills!!!

He is more consistent and a better pass catching TE than Knox, and he sure as hell is gunning for the #1 TE designation in this team, wether that happens or not Idk, but it is one of those TC battles to watch.

To me this list, shows just how bad at HC / GM hiring evaluations owners actually are, as is known, if you get these two hires wrong you’re screwed, it’s as if owners repeatedly hire guys that have no actual plan or have little capacity to implement one. (Gase & Caldwell for instance) You would think by now the formula for team building would be well established, but I guess not…, the NFL is after all a private club for rich guys to play at, as long as the coin rolls in they don’t care so much…

That is neck and neck with CB2 imo, -
It was both.

All these types of lists are based on biased opinions, (just like our own opinions) there are no absolutes involved, Josh ranked at #9 is because many pundits are still hoping Josh regresses, (the I told you so group) and that it’s the Buffalo Bills after all… it’s gonna take a SB win and or a few more successful seasons for the stain of the drought years to fade, sad yet true. Go Bills!!!

Good points made, for Ralph, every period of success he and the Bills had, it was followed by decades of mediocrity, he never seemed all that interested in the sustained success thing. I just assumed he was busy making even more money in his other endeavors, so the Bills were literally just a hobby for him, so it really never mattered that much to his portfolio.

Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole

No one on this green earth realized how awful KB and Zay Jones would turn out to be, I had up till then not seen receivers who was afraid to catch a pass, hell, if we had it started McKenzie and Duke Williams we would have won two more games that season…, 😁 -

This right here^^^ This will be our version of two TE sets, so to speak, GD will take JB’s spot, teams know damn well that if they don’t cover Davis he can catch and score a bunch of TDs over a season, so with Diggs, Davis Beasley and Sanders, with a sprinkling of McKenzie and Hodgins (sp) we have a really potent receiver group, it truly is a pick your poison situation for defenses. Go w!!! McKenzie in a way is like our current #2 CB, always in competition for his job, and always winning the position, I would not count him out, as it were. Go Bills!!!
