I believe you are correct in that teams can pay a PS guy more money than the minimum that has been stated, it’s done primarily to keep them from accepting an offer from another team, iirc we somewhat recently had a WR that we did this with, lots of threads /posts concerning him a couple years back, 😁 Go Bills!!!

It was enough for this past season, certainly. As long as he continues his upward trend on performance he will continue to be a Buffalo Bill. Not much else to make of his situation as it currently stands. Go Bills!!!

To me, that is not an ideal way to conduct a game strategy, its the same as saying that they don’t have nor want a viable plan “B” when plan “A” isn’t working, if I’m a player, I would not find that attitude comforting…, it’s has been the root cause of all of our losses this year, oh well…, Go Bills!!!

Yup, I think so as well, it’s a good thing to make those tweaks as need shows, imo, Dabol tends to get to cute at times, and dislikes to make adjustments within a game without prompting…,

I agree with your description of how it can be handled, it does appear that within, say a quarter, or a half, even minor adjustments don’t happen when the O or D is having issues, I’m just a fan, but it appears that there is a fair bit of stubbornness / reluctance on the coaches behalf to tweak what they are doing, within a game, when their game plan is not working so well, jmo. Well, it’s pff, they are a bit of a running joke, most of the time, that fans / talking heads reference them at all is jumping the shark.., they have always made stuff up, and folk still fall for it,

It is a positive sign for sure, but they need to be able to make those adjustments/ changes within games, in-fact, within quarters, to be able to win tight games, the inability to do so has been the issue in our losses this season, glad to see they can read a trail, as it were. Go Bills!!!

Could very well be the case with DD, but regardless, the end results haven’t been what one would call good imo, the O line certainly does not need more performance issues…, there is a joke in there somewhere.., 😁

…, this is the very scenario that will botch up this season’s potential, ya gotta have your best players available, look what Covid did to DD, hasn’t been the same guy since, now our RTs health has a big question mark on him, all we can do is hope for the best,🤞 like you said…,

Our OC has regressed, his play calling and when to call certain plays is frankly miserable, that and the O line can not stop a bull rush, every team we play against knows this, so we get what we are seeing.
