It went both ways with the edge going to Allen, what finally happened with our receivers is that they now pay enough attention to come back to their QB when the route they are running isn’t working, and now they actually try to make a play on the ball when their number is called this is stuff that rarely happened when ZJ and Co were our receivers, that and the guys we have now aren’t afraid to catch a pass in traffic, and last but not least our current guys can catch a pass with regularity, unlike a few short years ago… Go Bills!!!

In actuality the contracts don’t seem to matter much to either party, as we have all repeatedly seen. Players forcing, raises, or trades, teams cutting or forcing pay cuts on players every season, it’s all pretty farcical. In practical application the contracts aren’t worth the paper they are printed on when it comes right down to it. By the way I never brought up trades of any kind so I’m not certain what your point was with that, anyway it’s all just day time TV soap operas, and much fun to mock.

A rookie running back and a big question mark on the QB and O line isn’t gonna move the needle very much for the Steelers, on the Bills behalf, having the entire starting receiver group injured for the playoffs was a rather large part of our post season demise, yes there were other contributing issues, ie; D line penetration, and the rather dismal run game when it was its number was called, but the receiver room being decimated with injury was easily the biggest problem, that and the overall game plan, (imo they coached scared) I would bet that the coaching staff understands that failure and has, shall we say, “grown” from the experience, we won’t be the same team we were last season, we will be better, anyway that’s my view, we shall see.

It’s not so cut and dry as to make it out to be, teams output even with the same players in place, can and has been very different from season to season, ya never know what may come to pass…, here to your feathers staying in place 👍
