It sounds more like RG is the position he is slotted to lock down, if he can.

Fun read, 👍 I hope what Beane said about getting and keeping the needed pieces around Allen long term will help fans understand why Beane won’t grab his ankles to sign every “known name” free agent that comes down the pike, Allen is an anomaly, that’s for sure, and we are lucky we have him, and in a sense luckier we have a GM & HC that know what the hell they are doing to not fall into the trap of one or two year window for a championship, these guys see us as a perennial contender, not a flash in the pan outfit. By rumor or actual signings, its Beane’s way of applying pressure on our existing guys, in this case the D line, no ones job is 100% safe, he wants them to clearly understand this, perform or be nervous about your job security…, we shall see how well it works, won’t we…,

What is there to debate? your teams QBs are what one might say, lacking capacity, to put it kindly, The Bills lived through the same thing for a very long time. There is nothing to debate.
