Speculative article on friction between McDermott and Staff?
Don Otreply replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Like sands through the hour glass goes the days of our lives…, Don’t give a rats azs about the soap opera gossip, it’s made up drama for clicks. -
Yes he is, he feels that he has been put upon unfairly, even though his issues are of his own making. And that is why he will always be a little putz. The owners are so rich that what ever they pay a little ahole like him is of no consequences to them personally the teams are just toys for them to play with. It’s why no one should take the NFL seriously, the game is fun to watch, but that’s as far as it goes, being concerned about the soap opera that goes on outside of the actual playing of the game is just silly.

Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham

After giving this some thought, and watching some talking heads speak to this, and reading all the posts of all ya’lI who are wrong, 😁, I have to say, objectively it would be a good move, that said, I don’t think Gronk has any real desire to sign with Buffalo, he can very likely make more money elsewhere, blah blah blah…, next thing ya know I will be supporting Tawmy as our BUQB, god I feel dirty, 😂 Go Bills!!! -
Nice pipe dream OP, just isn’t gonna happen with enough regularity in real life. Not that having our offense pick up where they left off last season for the duration of the upcoming season would be a bad thing…, Hopefully, and I believe it will be so, our new OC, And OLC will work in a more cohesive way to create a more seamless and powerful overall offensive scheme, this will make our HC and our fans very Fing happy imo. 😁👍 Go Bills!!!

Get Christian McCaffery to be our #1... slot WR...???
Don Otreply replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 A first for a player of Diggs caliber and health record, sure, his contract was absorbable when the trade was made, unlike CMC’s would be this season, on top of his injury record, no bueno, given we are currently over the cap, it doesn’t sound Beane thing to do, You damn well better have all your ducks in a row before you pull that first round pick/trade trigger. -
“On the down side of his career” mid thirties…., think about that a while, just sayin,

I really want Fitzy to come back for this season

The curse is so Fing real that it even took out Fitz as a starting QB, NFW do we want this guy even in the building to visit…, 😂 -

Iirc, Tawmy is under contract next season with Tampa Bay, so, not so likely, at least not this upcoming season anyway. -

Not so much, if it happens he will be the second Bills player I do not cheer for, much like the douche who broke his teammates leg…, -

It’s really Throwball,
-
Play one additional quarter, odds of a tie after that are imo quite small, and if so, first field goal from 60 or greater distance wins it, jmo. it is called “foot” ball after all…,

Likely no-one,

Don Otreply replied to bubba2018's topic in The Stadium Wall
It could happen as you said, I do wonder how little he would take salary wise, I can’t see Beane paying him more that 3 million, been wrong before…, -

Season ending hip injury on a forty plus year old QB…, iirc what I read, it’s the same type of injury that ended Bo Jackson career, and he was younger, and way stronger and far more athletic than Fitz, it would be nostalgic for sure, but I don’t think it’s very likely to happen, jmo. Go Bills!!! -
What is the BEST pick you would trade for Saquon Barkley?
Don Otreply replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sixth or lower, he has issues, This, ^^^ the O-line run blocking was miserable for a big chunk of the season, it still needs to be addressed. Hopefully with our new again O-line coach and a little new blood we will be noticeably better run blocking offense when it’s needed. -
McDermott and Beane interviews from the Scouting Combine
Don Otreply replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
He took full responsibility, and very obviously has moved forward with every intent of making sure it doesn’t happen again, you know, like an adult, what the hell else does any thinking individual expect to have happen ? Moping around isn’t what guys like McDermott or Beane do, they address the concern and move to correct what went wrong, of course some fans want a full on soap opera to assuage their butt hurt emotions. Go Bills!!! -
So, Then the little loser is someone else’s problem, and can have his hissy fits for them, it doesn’t matter cause I’m the multi billionaire in this scenario,
-
Yup, after all, in this exercise, I‘m a multi billionaire, and that money has already been spent. I would punish the little “B”, I wouldn’t even dress him for games, I would just in a sense, disappear him. It would be no different financially than him being injured and out for the season.
